She also quoted multiple times when it would be ready. when I came to pick it up it was not ready. when I said it would have to be the following week as I could not wait, she said ten minutes. So I waited in my car and then when she gave it to me, it was bagged. I took it home and then realized it was wet inside the bag. When I opened it, it smelled like it had been doused in something like febreeze. I'm not even sure it had been cleaned. Because it smelled so strongly and was still wet, I took it outside and hung it on the line. Even dry the scent was off the charts strong. I tried to air it out on the bed, still stank 3 days later. I washed it in our machine- which was what I was trying to avoid since it was so bulky, and still couldn't take the odor so I finally sent it to another cleaner and thankfully they fixed it. I've never had an item return like that from a cleaner. I was a little unsure walking in anyway because she had several small dog and it smelled like dog pee, I should have just walked out. I would guess when I told her I would be back in a week she just got desperate and stuffed it in a bag without cleaning and masked it with some deodorizer. It was not even dirty, I just take it in after guests because the cat sneaks in and I don't want any allergens on the cover.
