Incredible how rude the short chubby lady's Son is. Total Jekyl & Hyde personality. I used to do laundry here a few years ago and stopped after an obnoxious trouble making fool picked a fight over me about using one of the laundry carts. I was finishing up and he started being a complete ass, so I told him to go to hell and left. The short chubby lady looked in sadness as I left, we always got along and I thought she was a very kind and caring woman. I returned to this Laundromat for the first time in years, a month ago as I had to do a family members laundry as they recover from major surgery. I forgot that they have air conditioning there, and on my first return visit it was about 95 degrees outside so that was a big benefit. The following week, it was hot and the they weren't running the A/C, I asked the short chubby woman (I believe she is an owner) if it was running. She looked at me like I had insulted her or something as I was sweating through my shirt, she walked over to the (hidden) thermostat, and turned it up as I of course said thank you. I didn't think anything of it being a problem but apparently it was. On Friday October 7, 2016 I came to the Laundromat. I filled two washers and went to add my Tide Pods to the laundry and pour my fabric softener in the receptacle for the fabric softener. In one washer, there was the disgusting yellowish liquid full in the fabric softener compartment of the receptacle. Being that I am critical thinker and problem solver, I knew immediately that since we cannot pour the disgusting liquid in washer #26 out, I asked the attendant (the short chubby lady's Son) if he had some paper towels in order to soak up and absorb the liquid to allow me to pour my own fabric softener in. He looked at me with an ARROGANT look, and spoke with an ARROGANT attitude and said "No, it cant be done!" I then said, "Oh yes it can, the paper towel will act like a wick and absorb the disgusting liquid." He said "No and Don't do it." How could he feel is entitled to treat customers with no manners and a friggin' attitude. His IGNORANCE can be cured with EDUCATION! How could this person possibly think they are entitled to be rude to an American? In any event I decided to simply take everything I put in the machine and move it to another machine that was visually CLEAN. The Son then came back to check on me, I said don't worry about it, I moved to another washer. I then said you acted like I was bothering you and you are ARROGANT. I should also mention he's IGNORANT also. He starts yelling at me in front of the other customers and telling me how his short chubby mother has told him that I am nothing but trouble and have caused so many fights there. I say to him WHAT? Are you out of your mind. Your Mom and I get along great. The short chubby lady and I have never had any issues, at least I thought so. He kept going on and even though my washers had started he said in a bullying way, "Don't ever come back", I yelled back at him, "I will never come back here!!!!", The prick then says "I'll stop the washers now and give you your money back!" I said "no, I will wait till its through and leave!" Which I did. I took my washed clothes to a very friendly and clean laundromat down the street and had it dried and I was done. First of all I am a 4 th generation American whose family has roots in the town of Natick. I am also a former elected town meeting member in this town. This "Son" is the most arrogant and unprofessional person I have encountered in years. He's actually laughable. Oh really Im so upset about being told not to come back to a Laundromat. You can imagine how much sleep I have lost over this. HA HA! I wonder if "Sonny Boy" realizes he works in a Laundromat. Not exactly a high caliber career goal. There are 5 Laundromats in Natick you moron, so it's my pleasure to NOT give you any business. As far as your Mom, (the short chubby lady) - It's extremely obnoxious of her to stay on her cell phone the entire time she is working there talking extremely loud in the shrill of a voice in her native language. I am saying this so she can not be so ignorant to how American customer service is supposed to be. It is extremely rude to talk on the phone while you are working, especially if you are the manager or owner. The shrill of your loud voice makes customers not even able to think straight. This is why your business is failing and how its never busy. You need to be educated! Stop being so rude and you may have more business. I wanted to let everyone who would possibly come to this place know to check to make sure the washers are clean before loading them. Nothing is worse than washing your clothing in someone else's filth. God forbid I should ask an employee if we can clean it. What a PRICK! I wish them nothing but bad Karma as they don't care about customers. Youll need Aspirin if you are subjected to the shrill of the short, fat ladies voice. read more
