The day I brought my car to him, it was raining so he suggested we not try top speeds in the rain and asked if I could leave the car with him. The next day he text me immediately to update me on the condition of the car and what needed to be done. One issue was the front tires needed replacing (they don't do tires) so he gave me recommendations on where to get cost effective replacements and advised me on other possible replacements. When I inquired around what could wait vs. immediate needs he was transparent and told me what was a now fix even if it didn't put money in his pocket (like the tires). I'd definitely trust him with any future work. He seems to care more about your safety than just making a buck. Never tried to upsell me on anything and explained each step. Transparent. Ethical. Linda and John Kearney are the sweetest, most knowledgeable gear heads you'd ever want to meet. (Their business used to be performance race cars, but the economy caused them to have to accept the rest of us.) So, not only did John correct the balances, he wrote down all the specs so I could share them with my regular mechanic (now referred to as my ex-mechanic). John showed me where one of my rims is bent so now they're helping me determine if I need to buy TPMS sensors for the new after-market wheels. Very generous with ideas, thoughtful, and fun people.
