They took pride in their work, cleaned up after with a big magnet thing to take up the nails and used a blower at the very end. They had one guy on the ground the entire time picking up trash etc. We also had three skylights replaced and they were mindful of the inside of my house and helped me place my drop clothes. We have had a lot of issues with our roof over the past 7 years when we got a brand new roof (shingle over shingle) and a few things I have learned: 1. ONLY go with a roofing company, not a business that does roofs, additions etc 2. Ask who will be working on your home and how long they have been working for the company. The guys at Lounsbury roofing have been working for the company for at least 10 years. We had other general contractors come over and they had young kids put our shingles on they they did it incorrectly and we got leaks. 3. Never put shingles on top of shingles but rather always tear off all your shingles so you can see if their is any damage to the plywood. 4. Ive found it hard to find quality guys in the local area - they are always busy or taking breaks for deer season, etc. Paolo was responsive, courteous and best of all, built me a huge deck off of my second home that is so solid, I believe it will be there long after the home rots away. During the project, he replaced a rotted joist, added tyvek tthat was missing and repaired flashing and filled gaps at my door jams - problems he noticed as the project went forward. He didn't make up any of the issues - got to see them all first hand and was pleased that he brought them to my attention instead of just slapping up a deck and taking my money and running. He truly cares about the quality of his work and it shows. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing repairs, remodeling or decking. I will be hiring him again.

The sub-contractor smeared the caulk, and it bleached in 3 months.  My house looked like a spotted leopard.  I met with Troy Yancey, and he agreed to fix it.  After 6 months of waiting, I got a lawyer.  Troy agreed it needed to be fixed but did not take any meaningful action.  I had to contact Hardie, the caulk manufacturer and Sherwin Williams to find a solution (I did Troy's job).  Ultimately, the entire Hardie exterior of my house had to be painted (by a painter of Troy's choice), defeating the reason for going with no maintenance Hardie siding.
