Every HVAC company I called either didn't answer or was booked out for weeks. AOL Heating & Air was completely different. Avi, the manager, genuinely cared about our situation and made sure a technician was sent out the very same day. Christian and his associate arrived promptly, were incredibly professional, and quickly diagnosed the issue. After multiple other HVAC companies told us we needed a brand-new compressor that would cost us thousands of dollars, Christian found the actual problem and repaired our condenser in just 30-40 minutes. Not only did they save us thousands of dollars, but they restored our air conditioning and had cold air flowing through our vents again the same day. Their honesty, expertise, and compassion are hard to find these days. If you're looking for an HVAC company that truly cares about its customers, provides honest assessments, and doesn't try to sell you repairs you don't need, AOL Heating & Air is the company to call. Thank you, Avi, Christian, and the entire team, you turned an incredibly stressful situation into a huge relief!

David was the tech and he did a beautiful job. He was persistent and made sure to get out all the lint from that long vent pipe. We were concerned about moving the dryer because It is very difficult to put it back in place without losing the connection between the back of the dryer and the vent pipe. David was able to do the job without moving the dryer. This was one of the main reasons we had procrastinated--we didn't want somebody replacing our hard connector with an over-long, unsafe, snake of tubing. I will be calling them regularly for maintenance and have recommended them to friends. From setting up the appointment to job completion I found them to be responsive and friendly and the price was fantastic. There are so many "companies" out there now, and I use the word loosely, that are just people with a list of subcontractors and they send anybody over from their list and you don't know whether they're qualified or not. This is not the case with Air Duct Experts. They have their own employees and are a legit company. I Highly recommend.

Leo was very thorough and professional, after the walk through consultation and then proceeding with a protocol and solution, I felt much more at ease & safer with his expertise! Calming my completely freaked state of mind! He found 2 openings on the exterior of my house and fixed them: put a screen over the exposed gable vent, quickly & impeccably, as well as covered an open vent pipe on the roof Also, as I was scrolling through all the exterminator options, I realized I didn't want a van that screamed exterminator in front of my house! Besides the name "Leo's Home Solutions", being nicely "general", I got a great feeling of the work Leo's company could provide from the glowing reviews and I was right! Everything was at an extremely fair price too! I highly recommend Leo's Home Solutions!

But after he arrived and saw how nice and luxurious the house was, the price suddenly jumped to $950! $220 to $950 is a huge difference. I asked him why the price increased more than FOUR TIMES. His response? "It's a big house. I need a ladder, and I have to get on the roof." LOL! WHAT A JOKE! Getting on the roof is part of the job! I felt he was trying to take advantage of me after seeing the house. He also claimed in his text messages that there was a bird's nest in the vent and water inside. Neither was there. I've attached his text messages as proof. Other Yelp reviewers have also posted one-star reviews describing similar experiences, including claims about bird's nests. I told him to leave. When I told him I'm a contractor myself, he looked pretty stupid. I wasn't going to let him take advantage of me. HERE'S THE BEST PART! I went to Home Depot, spent approximately $79 on the tools and supplies, and did the job MYSELF! I'm posting pictures of everything you need to buy at Home Depot so others can do this themselves and save hundreds of dollars. All you need is a trash bag, shop vacuum , a drill, new flex foil duct and the vent-cleaning tools shown in my pictures. You can keep the tools and reuse them in the future. $950 versus $79! Please do your research, read the other reviews, and don't let anyone pressure you into paying an outrageous price without proof of the alleged problems. He will reply with a fake statement. Just be honest. I asked for pictures and proof he never sent them because it wasn't true.
