I was so excited to get my windows tinted after buying my first non-mom car in 28 years. I checked…read morereviews here on yelp and received quotes from 3 vendors. I chose Mikes because they had the most thorough response and seemed really professional. However, three visits later, I have had the worst experience with the Riverside location. I chose the top of the line ceramic tint and paid $1,500. It was a lot but I wanted the best since I knew I would not buy another car in 10 or more years. The initial install was pleasant enough. I asked questions regarding a couple of bubbles I saw before I left and was assured by Erick that they would disappear after the moisture evaporated. Some did, lots did not. (See initial install photos) I went back to have the back and rear windows redone. The bubbles were worse on the back and on one of the triangle windows. (See 1st reinstall showing dust particles and bad cuts pics) Also, the clarity in the rear window was poor. (See light glares in rear window pic) I was told that it could be due to an astigmatism or the defroster lines. What?! Thinking that the 3rd time would be the charm I went back again for another fix. This time it seems they just made a complete mess of the backseat, the floor mats and carpet top behind the seats. This is a new car. It was pristine when I gave it to them. (See pics of goo and backseat mess). Also, there are still lots of dust bubbles along the back window worse than the second install . (see 3rd install pics which was Sat. July 12, 2025). I don't know what to do anymore. I spent so much money and each time I bring my car back I'm told, "this never happened before" only to leave with it looking worse! I'm beyond frustrated. It's supposed to be a 10 year warranty but I don't have it in me to keep going back wasting my time and energy. They didn't bother to walk the car after each install except the time that I asked and was assured that things would evaporate. I even walked back in after the third install and the front counter was empty. I just left and saw the backseat damage once I got home. I would never recommend this business to anyone. My daughter, my husband and my son were looking to get their cars done. They will be looking elsewhere.

Don't Get Your Windshield Chip Repaired Here…read more Don't let the lower price fool you. Spend a little more and get your windshield chip repaired professionally. My initial quote was $65 for a repair that would take approximately 30 minutes. I agreed to the price and brought my vehicle to the shop. An assistant started the repair, and although I'm no expert, I noticed there was no attempt to wipe down the area or remove any dust around the chip. I figured maybe that was normal, so I let him proceed. He drilled into the chip, which I understand is a standard part of the process. However, when he attached the injector bridge with the suction cup, it was clearly not adhering properly to the windshield. Throughout the process, I watched the suction cup repeatedly come loose and move around, making me question whether it was maintaining a proper seal. He also used a lighter to heat the glass from underneath, assuring me that this was normal procedure. He eventually applied the filler resin, covered it with clear curing film, and scraped it off after about a minute. The entire repair took approximately six minutes, excluding the curing time. The result? Absolutely no visible improvement. The star-shaped crack looked exactly the same as it did when I arrived. I talked to the owner afterwards to express my concerns. He told me that sometimes a chip repair looks the same even after the repair is completed. I'm not a professional, but I would expect the work area to be cleaned properly and reasonable precautions to be taken to prevent contamination during the repair. To his credit, the owner offered me a refund, which was appreciated. Looking back, I probably should have accepted it. However, I wanted the chip repaired, so I gave him an opportunity to fix it himself. While he worked on it, I researched whether a failed resin repair could be corrected. I learned that once resin has cured inside a chip, attempting another repair can be difficult because the existing resin may prevent additional resin from properly penetrating the damaged area. After approximately 12 minutes, including about eight minutes of curing time, the second attempt actually made the windshield look worse. The additional drilling left what now looks like a tiny, pen-tip-sized white hole in the glass. This entire experience was frustrating and a waste of both time and money. Although the owner initially offered a refund, I believe he should have carefully assessed the damage before attempting a second repair, especially after the first attempt had failed to produce any visible improvement. UPDATE: reached out to Jay and he refused to provide me with a refund on his botched repair.

After a month of consideration, I decided to provide my review. Having had multiple vehicles undergo wrapping, paint protection film (PPF) application, and ceramic coating, I can attest to Nick's exceptional honesty, transparency, and communication throughout the process. At no point was I left to speculate or make assumptions. His recommendations were consistently accompanied by clear and concise explanations, which I found to be highly commendable. A minor issue that arose was promptly and effectively resolved. While a brief disagreement occurred due to a misunderstanding on my part, Nick's clarification and reiteration of his rationale quickly demonstrated the validity of his approach. My only significant challenge was the commute to the facility; (Van Buren has a lot of traffic lights) otherwise, the experience was flawless. The pricing, service, and communication all warrant a five-star rating.

Nick showed up on time and was friendly and informative. However, I specifically requested and was…read morequoted for an interior shampoo, but instead, he provided the service he thought was best. When I got into my vehicle, I noticed that my seats had not been shampooed. There was also still bird poop on the roof, so I'm unsure whether the exterior received a full wash or was simply wiped down. He seemed rushed and mentioned that he had another appointment. If I scheduled services for two vehicles, enough time should have been set aside to complete both properly before moving on to the next customer. Since the second vehicle was a birthday gift for my friend, I called to ask about her results. She said her seats were not properly cleaned either, and that the car appeared to have been vacuumed well and wiped with wax. She honestly felt she could have received the same service at Quick Quack. Yelp has a form that allows customers to explain exactly what services they're requesting, so I'm not sure how the interior shampoo was left out of the quote and service. Even if you believe something doesn't need to be cleaned, if the customer specifically requests and pays for that service, it should still be completed. Overall, Nick was pleasant, but the service did not match what I requested or expected.

It was a lifesaver during the most blistering late summer heat heat to date. The difference in cabin temperature on hot afternoons is truly night and day. They do exceptional work, not just on high-end exotic cars, but on everyday daily drivers like mine. The craftsmanship is flawless. The film lines are tight, the glass is crystal clear with zero bubbling or haze, and the visibility from inside is fantastic. On top of the quality, the communication through Yelp was straightforward, the out-the-door pricing was fair with no surprise fees, and they knocked out the entire job right on schedule as promised. It is always great to support a local, family-owned Riverside business that takes real pride in what they do. If you want top-tier film installed right the first time, this is the shop to visit. Highly recommended!

To the other damages he says, "oh that wasn't us." But yet gives me $300 cash because he knows he messed up. He then tells me is this what you do? You just go to businesses find damage and try to get your money back? I'm insulted and reply no, I don't have time to for that bs. I'm literally there to show them the damage and have this matter resolved. I show him the cuts of tint because they were done by a 4 year old and he says you can't see that, it's suppose to be like that. He asked me okay so what do I want these damages?
