UPDATED!! After taking my car up there three different times to get a back up camera and Bluetooth Apple radio added paying over 1,000 I get a radio under my dash they disconnected all of my features included my volume on the dash and steering wheel. Oh and the "Bluetooth" radio is a cord out of my glove box. I just spent the last 20 minutes crying because this isn't what I paid for and feel totally swindled out of my money. They were not very upfront with what I was getting and pure laziness for not wanting to change the dash with the controls. Hopefully I can take it somewhere else and get it fixed the way it was supposed to be (oh and spend more money) :( Called this morning and talked to the owner he said I got exactly what I wanted. Well sir if you had been upfront with me and told me my steering wheel features wouldn't work I would not have done this. His employee Aaron only showed me the radio on the computer not the dash kits. So basically this is all my fault according to him. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this shop. I feel this needs to be shared do to the continuous issues I experienced for almost three months. I dropped the car off on the 7 Sep 20. I PAID a large amount to the J&M Collision Center for the following Services 24 Sep 20 to fix the wiring of my 1968 classic vehicle going to all the interior lights (not including two floor lights), 4 exterior lights in the rear, windshield wipers, and two dash gages (coolant, fuel). Returning Home: I had ten major issues with the classic vehicle. To include a large rip in the back seat area. I sent an email of the issues and pictures on the same evening I picked the vehicle up. I contacted the owner the next day to set up an appointment. I took the car back to J&M Collision Center on 6 Oct 2020. I went by the shop about five times between 6 Oct and 24 Nov. The vehicle was in the shop about three weeks, when I went by the shop to get status and the owner said he needs to order the entire wiring harness because the wiring and fuses were too bad. I said ok. I was told each time I went by, that they will start the car. It was 24 Nov; I went by shop and was told they would start the following week (28 Nov). The car has had the hood up for over 4 weeks collecting dirt and dust, and wearing down the hood springs. I was never called or given a quote the entire time. 24 Nov 20, I went by to see if the car was started, but it was not. I was told they would start the next week. I then noticed a scratch on the driver side at the backend of the car around the Pontiac light. It was about 4-8 inches long. I was told they would just buff it out. 30 Nov 20, I picked my car up and had it towed to a new garage. I spoke with the owner and the first thing he said was he seen the videos of the shop and didn't see anything that scratched my car. So, he was told about the scratch. I told him I was getting my vehicle towed. I said you had the car for almost 2 months and nothing has been done. You told me three times you would start it. I was never called or quoted a price, even though I asked you to keep me informed the first time I brought the vehicle to the shop. I said the wiring never worked, more lights worked when I brought it to your shop, then when I left your shop three weeks later. You ripped the interior, and now you scratched it. They left the hood up for around a month will all the dirt and dust falling in the engine compartment. He told me to give him one more chance and he could get it done by Friday which was 4 days away. I told him I couldn't leave the car at his shop no longer. His excuse for not working on it was, he was extremely busy. Even though I'm a customer first, and he was just repairing the damages and wiring from the first job, my car sat for almost 2 months. I asked about the large amount I paid for the wiring that never worked, he said the lights were working for two days before I picked it up. This was new news to me. There is a lot more to the story, but this review is long enough. They did buff the scratch out and gave credit for the ripped interior. However, this was not worth all the troubles I went through in this shop. Do not take your vehicle there. read more

Ordered alternator. Took forever to arrive. They wanted to charge me $75.00 an hr to install it. Decided to go somewhere else to have them install it for $50.00. When I went back to purchase more items, the owner had a bad attitude and didn't even speak. I DO NOT recommend this shop. Install price is ridiculous! read more

We took our Telluride for tint. After three different ties, there are still bubbles everywhere. Stay away from this place. Waste of money.

Warning, this is a long post, but in my opinion, all relevant to this J&M and I feel this needs to be shared. This is in reference to getting a subwoofer sound system installed and the correspondence with John. 1. Paid 1/2 for the job on Tues 29 May. (Not really an issue until you take into account it took over a week to get the job done) 2. Was told to call on Thursday 31 May to check on the status (Me call, not the other way around) 3. Called Friday, nothing had arrived but was assured it would be in on Monday 4 June. So I scheduled a 1300 appointment. (Not an issue except that ilI was told Monday everything would be there.) 4. Dropped off Monday and the speakers were still not there. But was told by John that ups would drop them off. So I decided to ask to get an eyebrow installed (front windshield tint). He said not a problem but it wouldn't be ready until 1800. 5. 1745 rolls around, John calls, speakers never arrived. Asks to keep it over night. Fine. 6. Tuesday 5 June, around 1400 I decide to call and find out wtf is going on. Again, I called... 7. John isn't around so some female tells me it'll be ready at 1530. I decide to let THEM call ME this time. 8. 1700 John calls and says it's ready. So we pull up, no eyebrow. When he comes out, I'm like dude, wtf, you couldn't install in 2 days? His words: I forgot. 9. We take a look at the work, the amp isn't even screwed down, just sliding around underneath the seat. 10. Wire trash is all over the back floorboard. 11. He then says I have bad news. Like what now?! They "forgot" to install the bass knob so I can control it from the front. Seriously did you even check the work before calling me?! 12. Wednesday 6 June (today) I come back to get the knob and eyebrow installed for free. They open at 0800, it's 0845 and the damn door is locked. Some worker guy comes up and motions me to come around to the shop. John isn't even around so I have to explain to some stranger why I'm here. I had told John I was coming by at 0900, so I'm 15 mins early.... 13. Got the bass knob installed, not where we had originally talked about it being installed, not sure if I like the location yet or not... so this may be a positive. And lastly 14. I had to ask for my stock sub back! So, if I didn't ask, you were going to keep it?! Always give the original parts back unless the customer specifically says they don't want it! I am at a loss for why so many things went wrong. I keep asking myself what does this business have to do to even keep me as a returning customer? Yes they comped the work they forgot. But that's a lot of gas I spent coming and going. And wasted time. John was super nice and apologetic but honestly the lack of attention to detail by the workers is terrible. Therefore, I'm done with this shop. I do NOT recommend using J&M Collison Center. read more

My truck was sent to them by Caliber Collision for an accident in 02/2018 so they can do the spray in bedliner repair, I called 14 months later, because my spray in bedliner that was repaired was lifting and peeling. I get told that they will try to fix it but there is not a 100% guarantee that it won't happen again. I take my truck back to Caliber Collision and they state there was no prep work done what so ever on the bedliner. Per Caliber Collisions recommendation to give J&M a 2nd chance to make it right despite all the doubts that I was having, I went ahead and did so. I dropped my truck off at 830am being told that it would take a couple of hours at the most. I call 5 hours later due to not hearing anything at this point, to be told that they haven't even started so it should be towards the end of day closer to closing time. Arrive to pick up my truck at 530, I ask the question on why it's thicker towards the back and I receive a crappy answer back with "that's the way it has to be." That's not the way it has to be considering the other side of my truck isn't like that. I also make a comment about how my paint is messed up and I get a reply "well all we use is tape." I'm sorry tape would not mess that up. Needless to say I get home an hour later and it's lifting and peeling already. I'm done with this shop, I gave them a second chance as was requested and it won't happen again. read more

I've been to J&M twice. The first time I was looking at bed covers and bed liners. The owner told me about the available options and answered my questions. I ultimately bought online because of price. I returned to have pinstripes put down the side of my pickup. Dealt with the owner again and he applied the stripes himself. Very upset with the quality of work and customer service J&M has provided me. I paid upfront for a sound system head unit custom sub box the whole 9 yards. Then got the run around for about two months on why my box hasn't been built. Drive up to the shop multiple times just to see everything is in the same stage. Finally they installed my head unit I bought top of the line. Well with that said it freezes up and when I brought this to the attention of them they said there is nothing they can do. Finally a month later my box was suppose to be ready and it wasn't.. but finally after many more trips up to the shop my box is finish and installed. The box was bedlined well they missed multiple spots. And wasn't built how we discussed and originally designed it. With that being said I was tired of the run around so I accepted the box anyways. Short one sub( that was already paid for l) and built wrong. They said they would do door speakers in the truck for not putting in all subs. When I arrived for this on they day they told me to they told me to come back. Well I did and they only put in front door speakers which fell out about a week later and now don't work in general. Then I go to clean my truck lift the back seat and two of my subs are torn from the design of then box. When J&M was contacted got nothing in response. Just another shop in central Texas area looking to make money of soldiers. If it's from bubbling tint or full builds just looking to take soldiers or anyone's money and leave them hanging. With this said I'm having to spend another grand to get my system fixed. Oh and my back up camera never worked after install. Was told it wasn't a option read more

I went to take my car in for I thought something was wrong with my back speaker. They told me it sounded like the amp was going out but to drop it off the next day so they could check it out and then go from there and purchase a new speaker or amp if needed. I came the next day after they had my car for an hour an half just for them to tell me everything was fine and that I just had too much stuff in my trunk which was making it rattle. So I was excited that nothing was wrong and then they told me it would be $75 right before I left. They never once told me they were going to charge me 75 when I dropped it off for them to look at it. I am extremely angry for I feel I got robbed of $75. Never going here again read more

I have used J&M for not only tenting but installation of a hitch on my SUV and they did fantastic work!
