We always felt informed, supported, and confident in the direction of the project. The entire team was top-notch. Every person we interacted with was welcoming, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. A special shoutout to Troy, who manages the operation--he's built an amazing team, and you can genuinely tell the culture there is strong and positive. The craftsmanship, the communication, the people--everything exceeded our expectations. We will absolutely be working with them again, and I can't recommend them highly enough. When we went to drop the trailer off, we got a run around from Mike, who was the person who scheduled the appointment. With just a few hours to spare before our flight, we had to scramble around and find an RV storage lot. Not good.

I bought an 11 year old 17' Four Winns Horizon from Dodo Brockman, late August 2011. I'm new to boats so I followed my gut in regards to trusting him. He assured me that the engine was primo and the boat was in great condition. He offered a sea trial but I passed on it and opted to just pick up the boat because I was almost out of Summer and wanted to get it into the water. He assured me that the engine was tip top shape and that he would fix the trim indicator when the part came in. He also offered to do the Fall winterization. I couldn't be happier! I managed to get it into the water 4 times before it got too cold and discovered that Dodo is a man of his word, the boat is awesome, it's like new (amazing for an 11 year old boat) and he came through as he said he would on the trim. It runs very nicely and it is in like new condition - as he said it was. He obviously spent some time and money waxing it and assuring the engine and the boat are in top condition. He winterized it in October and did the trim work he promised. I'm very happy with the boat and with Freeport Boat Outlet. Good people. Dodo does what he says he will do. You can trust these guys.
