As a follow up, I received an email with the Tiger Appliance Repair contact, a case number an a discount for my case. I called Tiger Appliance Repair. To my surprise, they quoted $225 just for the visit, not applicable to the work to be performed. When I asked about the initial $225 not applicable to the cost of the work, the justification that they gave me on the phone was "Bosch is a high end, they are very expensive". I thought the travel and quoting has nothing to do with a brand name, although repair services and spare parts, yes, it is expected. Regarding the discount offered in the email, they were not interested to hear my case number; they said they have no discount, only a coupon of $20 in their website, applicable to the work being done. Not very polite either, I was disappointed of the Customer Service, not what I was expecting from Bosch.

I waited 20 minutes to speak to an actual human and then the messaging got dropped and I had to start over w a new person spending 50 minutes just to be quoted $470 before they even came out to see any damages in person! So I sent a job bid on YELP and out of 4 replies Phoenix Appliance Repair was not only the first one to reply and carried on quick replies in our conversation that followed, but also had a fair up front diagnostic fee of $75 and then booked for me same day! I was already 5 loads behind in my laundry after the weekend so this was super helpful. He fixed screw and hopes that would be it but after I tried my first load I reached back out stating it still was popping off. He said I needed a new agitator. Instead of $470 like LG quoted he charged $208 including tax and did not charge another fee for the second visit either. Machine is working great now! This business owner is fair, works hard, has great communication and integrity! I highly recommend.

After many phone calls to other companies I chose Phoenix Appliance Repair and scheduled an appointment. Dru arrived promptly to our appointment and was professional yet friendly. After some thought, I decided to replace my dishwasher rather than repair it. He agreed, didn't try to sell me on an expensive repair and helped me prepare the necessary paperwork to process my claim. He is a man of integrity. Impressive! E&J service work is friendly and efficient, and they regularly go the extra mile to do more for less. They are also quick to let us know when it's a better value to replace an appliance than it is to fix one. We should have written the above review some time ago; but what occurred yesterday was outstanding. We had a dishwasher throw a fatal code earlier this week. E&J told us it was time for a new machine and recommended a well known appliance store here in town. When that store's installers couldn't remove the old dishwasher without damaging our kitchen, Ernie, the Owner of E&J came to our home himself and took care of the problem free of charge. We don't expect free work from valued suppliers and insisted Ernie take something for his service; but what a difference E&J is from the big appliance store installers who demanded more money for a job they couldn't do without damaging our home. Thank you Ernie and thank you E&J!
