Since we live on a busy street, I knew this would be a better option. The two-man crew arrived at the end of the day but stayed as long as necessary to complete the tree pickup and thoroughly cleaned the area despite the diminishing sunset illumination. Since it rained the next couple of days, another two-man crew arrived to grind the stump and were in/out in less than an hour. I will happily consider using them again for non-storm related tree services on my property going forward.

He explained what was going on and offered a few options with an assessment of how likely they would be to save the tree. Unfortunately the high heat and dry weather stressed this tree enough to attract Ambrosia beetles. They had infested the tree. It was only a matter of weeks before it completely died. Decided to have them remove the tree and grind the stump. Stuart gave me a quote immediately and was able to have a team out the next day. Guys show up a little early, super professional. Got the job done and cleaned up in abounds hour. If the tree can be saved they will. If not, they can remove it before it becomes a problem. Highly recommended.

DJ and his team hauled off the log the other crew left behind. DJ was super communicative and came out to give us a price estimate. The pricing was competitive and he really seemed to know his stuff, he was able to point out several trees that were diseased and needed to come down. We had gotten estimates from other crews but what sold us on Atlanta Tree Professionals is their track record of great reviews and the insurance protection they carry. Many others claim they have insurance but when you read the fine print, the differences come to light. You can tell Atlanta Tree Professionals care about their customers and their employees. These guys showed up on time on the day of the job. DJ called us to schedule and confirm which was super easy. The crew worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. Even my neighbors were impressed. I also appreciated the way these guys treated an old oak we have near the house. It had suffered some storm damage but they had it looking good in no time. I would not hesitate to work with them again.

They showed up on time, did all they work they said they would, and left us woodchips and neatly stacked firewood to use this winter. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. Before I begin, let me state I use Yelp consistently but have never posted a review until today…read more I called and left a message around 1pm for ATL Tree All Stars last Tuesday to get a quote. Within 10 minutes I received a call back from Dale, the owner. He directed me to a local contact Adam as they divide the ATL market into smaller areas for better service. Adam and I spoke briefly about 10 minutes later and he asked if he could come by the house that afternoon to take a look at the work I needed. He showed up on time and provided the quote within minutes. My needs were not urgent so we agreed they would work my project into their schedule in the next few days. The next day I received a text from Adam confirming they would come the next. They arrived the next day on time and made quick work of my project. They were in and out within an hour and took great measures to protect the surrounding landscape (bushes, landscape lighting, pavers, etc.). Not only were they efficient, they cleaned the areas so well it was difficult to tell they had been there at all. Oh, and they also took care of some limbs I had pruned a few days earlier at no charge. Adam was very professional and courteous and reminded me what great customer service looks like. Not only that, but he's super knowledgeable about the local trees, bushes, and how to care for them. I've hired several companies in the past 15 years to do this type of work. Before last August I had not owned a home, so I had never had a need for an arborist. Since I now…read morelive on a wooded 1+ acre lot with my house surrounded by trees, a couple of which are not looking so hot, I found myself in need of just such an expert. Since I live on the fringes of Canton, it's not exactly a hotbed of arborists, so when I looked at Yelp to see who/what was nearby, my options were limited. I saw 770 Arborist (also the phone number when spelled out on a phone screen) and decided to try them. I called and set up the appointment. The person who took my call was polite and professional, so I hoped the person coming out to inspect would mirror that. It's been many years since I was a boy scout earning my botany and forestry merit badges, so I was ready to learn. Mark, the arborist, was phenomenal. When I hire an expert, it's for (no surprise) their expertise. What I got with Mark was not only great expertise, but a real passion for understanding and caring for those gentle giants that surround my home. He showed me how to safely and healthily trim limbs to help my trees grow. He explained how adding only a small amount of soil overburden can harm a tree. He taught me how to harvest loam from other parts of my property to feed trees that aren't getting sufficient nutrition. He showed me which trees are 'valuable' in the sense of property value and enjoyment. He showed me far more than I will take your time recounting here; suffice to say that I'm smarter about what's around me and have a new appreciation for trees. What did he NOT do? He did not try to upsell me. He explained which trees were unhealthy and why, how much or how little of a threat they present to my property, and which ones (only 3) that needed to be removed because of damage and sickness. And he was upfront about those trees probably being several years from being at the point at which they need to be removed. Again, no upsell of services or scare tactics about trees that are unhealthy. Just solid science and great advice. The hour and a half he spent with me cost $149, and it was a great value.; he should probably raise his rate. And, equally importantly, if I decide to use them for tree trimming or removal services, that $149 will be credited against the removal costs. Totally awesome and I highly recommend Mark and 770 Arborist.
