I watched her stop inventory just to run to hug and speak to a male while there was a line of customers in store! I hope this can be changed! Management needs to be trained better on how to adhere to professional behavior and development in the work environment!

When you walk in it has a convenience store feel, you see the menu towards the back when you walk in and order at the register and pay. There is a long counter that you can sit inside and there are picnic tables outside. The employees are all very friendly and took great care of us. They have a boat dock, kayak rentals, fishing supplies, shirts, hats, and all the snacks. They also serve breakfast and have lots of ice cream treats including sundaes, we will try that next time. We were also told that on Mondays they have a pizza special. Our lunch was really good, we will definitely be back to try other items and maybe rent a kayak!

Beyond fresh, marbled to perfection, they were delicious. This morning I cooked the sausage and made a cinnamon roll sausage egg bake and also absolutely delicious. It's certainly a warehouse type facility, so don't expect fancy decor, but we will be back. The service, the pricing, and the food were all top notch!!

The shopping center appears to be thriving with grocery anchor Harris Teeter. Spaces are nearby, but not directly in front. Curbside is offered by arranging ahead. The store is on the smaller floor plan and very compact. The bourbon area takes up a full wall. The selection was 5 star with several hard to find rare bourbons such as EH Taylor, Blanton's and Blade & Bow 22 year that's a whopping $470 bottle. Three checkouts are up front with two operational. They had an orderly line when opening. No issues with my card being processed and the cashier was friendly enough but busy with a line 10 back. This store is not close to my home, so I most likely will not return here for my booze. Otherwise it's ok, nothing special. An A-OK from me. 3.5 rounding down as the store floor space is limited.

The staff were friendly and nice; our waitress even made some conversation at our table for a little bit. The outdoor dining area had a cute setup; def would like to see how it is during the summer. I don't remember the name of the drink I got because I asked the lady at the order window to make whichever one was both fruity and sweet. I'd give the drink an 8/10; it was pretty good, but became watered down really really fast. Didn't try any food off the menu because we were already planning to go eat after we left the farm, but after looking at the menu, I definitely see myself going back here soon to try their food and whatever new seasonal items/drinks they'll be adding to the menu in the next month or so. My overall rate of experience : 8.5/10

I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich with fresh fruit & a Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail. The chicken salad was horrible, lol like I actually took one bite & couldn't eat anymore. It's like the chicken salad was ground or puréed. The fresh fruit was delicious & ripe! The Strawberry Lemonade was delightful, a little heavy handed for my liking. I'm so happy this place is open that I'm still giving it 5 stars, despite not eating the sandwich.

Before my neighbor introduced to me The Neighborhood Harvest I was getting my greens and veggies from the local Food Lion or Krogers. It was difficult to find organic produce that wasn't already ready to go bad. The greens and veggies I get every week are SO FRESH and DELICIOUS! I typically get kale, cucumbers and a bag of the Green Machine blend which is perfect for my daily green smoothies! There hasn't been a time yet that the greens haven't been perfect, never wilted or smelly! We recently tried the fresh apple cider, it was SO GOOD! We just got a notice that they are having fresh cookies as well so we are definitely going to place an order for those as well! I especially love that I am assigned to my own Neighborhood Harvest representative who checks in with me periodically to make sure I am a happy customer. I get text messages of any particular deals they are having, last week they were having a deal on pears. I don't mind having to place my ice packs out in my cooler the night before and so far I've never had a problem with my deliveries. I definitely recommend investing your money in their fresh greens which is great for your health.
