My house was in bad need of fresh paint so I went looking for painters and found NStyle on Yelp…read morealong with a couple others. We got quotes from three firms total and Nstyle's was the lowest but they had the best reviews on Yelp so we decided to go with them, and those reviews proved true. We started with a small job to paint a bedroom and closet inside the house, which would have a white ceiling and dark walls. Fernando did it beautifully with "crispy" sharp lines where the two colors met and a smooth, flawless finish all around. When it came time to paint the exterior, Fernando as well as the rest of the NStyle crew did an awesome job with excellent attention to detail. They even worked weekends to be sure our job was finished before a new gutter install happened. Throughout the multi-step project, Nick, the owner, was easy to communicate with and took any feedback or requests we had in stride. At one point, the trim color was partway done but we realized it wasn't the right color ... even though Nick's team had already painted a swatch for us to approve; it just looked different in the afternoon sun. So I texted Nick about it, on Labor Day weekend, and he arranged to get a swatch of the new color painted as soon as Sherwin Williams opened and we were back on track (with no extra charges). The paint job looks gorgeous and I'm in love with my house again, thanks to NStyle. I'll have them back anytime I need some painting done; they're that good.

They took great care throughout the job, and the finished paint looks great! What I especially appreciate is the communication and follow-through. Ibsan came by personally to ask if I had any questions or concerns, and everything I brought up was addressed. That kind of attention and care really makes a difference, and believe me I am very picky. I own several rental properties and have used this company to paint a couple of them as well. After working with them on multiple projects, I can honestly say they have been the best painting company I've worked with. As a homeowner and property owner, I need to feel confident that my properties are in good hands. I can't always be there to supervise every detail, nor should I have to. I hire professionals because I trust them to take pride in their work, treat my properties with care, and do the job right. This team has consistently given me that peace of mind. I truly appreciate the way they listen, communicate, address concerns, and take responsibility for their work. It's not just about the quality of the painting; it's about the people, the professionalism, and the trust they build with their customers. I highly recommend this ibsam and his crew. Thank you to Ibsan and the entire crew for taking such good care of my home and my properties. It really means a lot!

Unprofessional, careless, and combative--avoid this company…read more Working with this company was a stressful experience from start to finish. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Skipped Prep & Unpainted Surfaces: While they did an excellent job on stucco patching, basic surface prep like scraping and sanding elsewhere was wildly inconsistent, leaving uneven finishes across several areas. Mold treatment was handled with a small consumer-grade spray bottle from Safeway rather than a commercial treatment, and they completely skipped painting several unexposed surfaces--such as the tops of beams and soffits--hoping I wouldn't notice. Messy Worksite & Property Damage: The crew left our property littered with tools, paint cans, trash, and paint chips across all yards at the end of each day. They damaged our attic vents and denied responsibility. During power washing, thin masking tape over our garage soffit vents blew off immediately, but foreman Hugo kept blasting water directly into the open vents--flooding dirty sludge all over a new vehicle and stored items inside. Combative & Insubordinate: Hugo repeatedly argued over clear mistakes. While applying a specialized porch product requiring a 4-hour dry time, Hugo started a second coat after just 1 hour. When I instructed him to stop, he ignored me and kept painting right in front of me, claiming he was "letting the product talk to him." I had to call Ibsan on the spot to force him to stop. Poor Communication & Pushback: Both Ibsan and his crew asked me for my paint choices at least ten separate times throughout the job, and repeatedly threatened extra charges for finishes explicitly included in the original quote. Whenever issues were caught, the crew claimed "it was like that before" until shown photographic proof. Hugo even spent three days arguing against fixing an accidentally painted window frame--a 5-minute fix--before admitting, "well it's worth trying." While the end result looks acceptable from a distance, basic prep work was skipped, surfaces were left untouched, and who knows how soon it will be before the paint fails. Save yourself the headache and hire a team that respects your home, your contract, and basic standards.

Henry was meticulous in his repair, matching the paint and stain accurately. He had to actually fabricate a new oak door frame which matched the original perfectly. He is very particular about results, is neat, tidy, and clean. He has also painted exterior shutters and a lot of wrought iron fencing for me. He also replaced siding for me, always with very very good results. His prices are very fair and he is reliable. I highly recommend Henry for all painting, repairs, and even pressure washing around the house.

Mike (Lux Painting) and another company provided similar/competitive estimates, but we decided to hire Mike as he did not have a single bad review. After agreeing to a date to start the work, Mike texted me to re-confirm the start date as the date got closer, which I really appreciated. I have been reaching out to all the contractors we hired about a week before just to make sure we are still good to go, but I didn't have to with Mike, which was nice. He showed up on time with his dad, they did an amazing job and finished on time. I kept emphasizing that he only had to do the work we were paying him for, but he went ahead and took care of extra things beyond scope to make sure our place looked nice. My husband and I were very impressed and happy with the result. Another bonus, Mike and his dad were very nice, friendly and such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend hiring Lux Painting - So much that I wish I had more paint jobs for them, but will definitely keep them in mind in the future and will recommend to anyone in my circle looking to hire professional painters.

They were recommended by our very good friends that just had them paint their whole house and they were very happy. I called them Monday morning and Pete came out the same day and gave me a quote on the spot, and I said "yes let's do it, when can you start?" He says how about this Wednesday. Woah that was easy! I had already received 2 other estimates from other painters on Yelp, so I was ready to get started. So the guys show up at 8am on Wednesday and start priming the wood. They worked from 8am til 5pm on Wednesday and Thursday, then finished the job at noon on Friday. Nice! The color was perfect and they give a one year guarantee so if it needs some touch up, Pete says they will come back and do the touch up. Good price and excellent workmanship. Like I said, I highly recommend.

We had a really great experience working with Orkhan and would definitely recommend him!…read more We first hired Orkhan for a bunch of small repairs around our house, and we were really happy with his work. His quote was very reasonable and, importantly, very detailed, which gave us a lot of confidence from the start. He was patient, polite, responsive, and easy to work with. We also appreciated how transparent he was about material costs and that he provided receipts for everything he purchased. After that, we hired him to upgrade our 100-year-old Art Deco bathroom with a new vanity, mirror, toilet, etc. He did a beautiful job. He was careful with the details, and we're really happy with how it turned out. There was a small issue with the tile alignment, and when we pointed it out, Orkhan responded immediately and came back the very next day to fix it. That kind of responsiveness and willingness to make things right was really appreciated. We also had him finish our garage with LVP flooring. He helped us move appliances around and picked up materials for us from the store. The project went smoothly and he gave us updates with photos while we were out of town. Everything turned out great and the transformation was amazing. Overall, Orkhan is reliable, honest, skilled, and takes pride in his work.
