I would give no stars if possible do not go here my husband bought a car from here was told there…read morewasnt anything wrong with the vehicle besides a coolant leak but it was fixed prior to purchase not long after we left it was showing low pressure for one tire when we took it in they had told us it looked like it was driven on for awhile well it was flat and it was very unsafe to drive on as we told them at the dealership we were going over 100 miles to get back home we ended up spending over 300$ just on tire to get back home to notice a leak of coolant coming out we then took olit in to be looked at and was told it would cost over 1000$ to fix the problem I mean if we were able to buy something more expensive we would have but with my husband only on disability and me not being able to work to take care of him and our young son we needed something reliable to be able to get to his Drs appointment and to get around town and all this was explained to them as he was purchasing it we told them what we had to spend and we're reassured that it was a good vehicle over and over so fast forward to today my husband went to the dealership to confront them about the multiple problems that the car has and they pretty much said they didn't care that as is means as is when we were informed that all the issues that the car had were already taken care of and fixed before the purchase so they just took advantage of a disabled person and want it all written off like it was my husband's fault for not knowing they were lying and on they way home the car broke down all the coolent ran out of it and would not start smoke was coming out of the tail pipe looking and smelling like it was on fire so now we have no car no way to get around and still they do not want to own up to what they did but oh well right you got your quick buck but at what price they should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of ppl just trying to get by with what they have So they told us lemon laws don't apply for used cars but this is what I found... Standard used car lemon laws do not usually apply, but you have strong legal protections. Because the dealer explicitly lied or misrepresented that problems were fixed before purchase, you are legally protected under fraud and deceptive trade practices laws, rather than standard lemon laws. Hmmm wonder who's right

If they don't don't sweat it. Next reach out to the dealer you like the most and tell them the numbers they have to match to earn your business. Lastly, take into consideration, you're giving $1,000's of dollars to a company, a corporation, a dealership, and 2-5 employees at that dealership. I'd prefer to give my hard earned money to the location I like the people at the most. I didn't luck out here! I set myself up to get a great deal on my number 1 vehicle of choice from the dealership I preferred to buy from. I gave them my word on what it would take to earn my business, and they did exactly that! The salesman, Chris Partin, knew his stuff about the product he sold me, he was willing to meet me when best for my schedule, and was willing to text me, instead of call or email me. He didn't have to pressure me because I was upfront with him with what he needed to do to earn my business. It was my responsibility to earn my very best deal, I did that, Chris Partin at Robert Allen Nissan took it one step further than any other salesman I've met and asked the questions to find out what I needed to make this the easiest purchase I've ever had. Chris Partin is a guy who is willing to do what it takes to make you happy.

I am writing this review about my experience purchasing a vehicle from Lithia Chevrolet GMC of…read moreHelena. I have bought many vehicles and had both good and bad dealership experiences. This was easily one of the worst. If my coffin is ever rolled through the doors of this dealership, it will be too soon. On July 31, I went to Lithia looking to replace my 2014 Malibu. I first looked at a 2020 Nissan Frontier and immediately noticed pushed-in fog lights and an active TPMS warning. The Carfax confirmed it had been in an accident. Seeing obvious issues that hadn't been corrected was my first red flag. I should have listened to it. The salesman then showed me a 2019 Nissan Armada they had just taken in. It had not yet been through Lithia's inspection. I took it to DJ's Automotive for an independent inspection. DJ's gave it a generally clean bill of health but reported it needed tires and front and rear brakes. I showed Lithia the inspection and made replacing the tires and brakes a condition of purchase. We negotiated a price under $20,000 and put the brakes and tires on the "We Owe." I explained I would be towing and wanted D-rated tires. I agreed to pay the difference for better tires. The next day, with Lithia's parts department, I selected BFGoodrich KO3s. I was told the Armada should be ready the following week. Then communication basically stopped. A week later, I discovered Lithia had installed cheap Kelly tires instead of the BFGoodrichs we agreed upon. What followed was finger-pointing between departments about paperwork. I insisted they honor the agreement. Eventually I was told the correct tires would be installed and the Armada ready August 11. August 11 came and went without a call. On August 12, I returned and was told it still wasn't ready. I asked to speak with the General Manager and was not allowed to. Instead, the service manager said their technician's bay was full and my Armada wouldn't be done until the next day. I again requested the GM. After the service manager walked away and returned, suddenly the Armada could be finished that same day. I returned at 5 p.m. and the BFGoodrich tires were finally installed. Then I was told I owed approximately $650 for the tire upgrade. I had agreed to $80 per tire, or $320. The additional amount apparently included mounting and balancing--even though the tires were being replaced because Lithia installed the wrong ones. I refused the additional charges and paid the agreed $320. Then I discovered Lithia had NOT replaced the rear brakes as agreed. Lithia said they only replace brakes below 3mm. I showed them DJ's inspection showing the rear brakes at approximately 2-3mm. Lithia said their technician measured them at 5mm. They suggested checking them again, so I did. This time the same brakes measured 4mm. Regardless of whether they were 2-3mm, 4mm or 5mm, my issue is simple: replacing the brakes was part of our purchase agreement. Lithia refused to replace them. The original salesman was the one bright spot in this experience, which is why I am intentionally not naming him. My complaint isn't about one mistake. The wrong tires were installed despite a specific agreement. Communication was terrible. I repeatedly had to visit for updates. I was asked to pay additional costs resulting from their tire mistake. The agreed-upon rear brakes weren't replaced. I received conflicting brake measurements. And I wasn't allowed to speak with the GM when requested. Any one of those things might be an understandable mistake. Taken together, they made this one of the worst vehicle-purchasing experiences I've ever had. I strongly caution anyone considering Lithia Chevrolet GMC of Helena to document everything promised, get it in writing, and have the vehicle independently inspected. As for their service department, I will not use it again. Ironically, I purchased Lithia's lifetime oil-change package. Fortunately, it can be used at other participating Lithia dealerships. That's exactly what I intend to do.
