The project took about 2-3 months due to black custom cabinetry which took 2 months to receive (attributed to COVID) or the project would've taken a month. The guys came in to provide a no pressure estimate and they weren't priced too high or low which is generally a good sign. I always avoid contractors who provide too cheap a price or shoot for the moon (#GME). All in all, I've asked them for an estimate on my bathrooms after being so impressed with their 1) responsiveness 2) craftsmanship 3) attention to details and lastly 4) honesty As one example, one part of the counter top install there was a slight ridge which the guys noticed. The sub contractors attempt to install countertops wasn't perfect and I could barely tell but Kelvin/Jose held the subcontractor responsible to replace the piece. They removed a wall which wasn't load bearing, but we decided to install a 23' beam to be safe. Installed cabinets, enclosed the refrigerator, moved the sink into the corner and added waterfall countertops to the entire "island" area. Pictures speak for their craftsmanship. Last year, we discovered that they made a small error in wiring our kitchen--they mistakenly didn't wire the refrigerator outlet to our whole-house generator. I called them and they ghosted me. We ultimately paid an electrician $180 to fix their error--a repair that took him only about 10 minutes. That wasn't so bad, so I dropped the issue and decided we'd just never hire them again. This year, however, something bigger happened. They had improperly installed a pot filler over our cooktop, using the cheapest possible screw anchors for a heavy faucet. We only recently started to use the filler, and the weight was too much. The filler blew off the wall, flooding the entire kitchen and leaking below into our basement. After insurance, we are still at least $9,000 out of pocket, and probably more since we'll be looking at retiling the wall no matter what we do. I know from last year's experience that there's no point to even calling them again since they won't return my call. I recommend that you stay away from this company.

Awful, awful experience. A true nightmare. They charged tens of thousands of dollars and messed up…read morebasically every aspect of our bathroom remodel. Given multiple opportunities to fix their problems, they did not. Extremely sloppy, low quality work. The work on the bathroom was clearly done by someone who has never seen a bathroom or used one, much less built one before. The shower leaks, the tile was so crooked and bumpy it had to be ripped out twice, the radiators were badly reinstalled and dripped water down through the floors into to kitchen below, the walls and ceilings they built are not straight or square, the sink handles immediately fell off, they caused a $1000 plumbing clog and our basement to flood with sewage by flushing construction debris down our toilet. Instead of replacing pipes, they kept the old pipe which we had asked them to replace, and then tried to hide and cover it up. They would also show up unannounced and let themselves into our home on days when they had not told us they would be coming or that we were supposed to expect anyone to be in our house. So on multiple occasions I would hear an unexpected noise and I'd look over and see someone in my house who I had never seen before in my life. And every time we raised an issue to them, they either ghosted us or tried to convince us it was fine and that their work had been done correctly. I have pictures to document all of these issues. I will never let anyone from DMV enter my house again and I will tell everyone I can to never do business with this company. Scammers, liars, incompetent, I hope they go out of business.

We had major communications problems with the project manager throughout the project, many of which resulted in things we can't change now without major expense and hassle. For example, the shower in the primary bath was too small after they'd installed it, and we agreed on a plan that would partially fix it, but he failed to communicate to the workers, and they just didn't follow the plan we'd agreed on. So it's now too small and without the minor fix that would have improved it, and we can't make a change without tearing apart the entire bathroom. We continue to have major issues with our HVAC, which was a major part of the renovation. Our floors are not level, despite us asking about them well in advance. We have now hired another contractor to fix as many mistakes as possible. As our project already went months over schedule and thousands over budget, we are not excited to be making fixes over a year later out of our own pocket. I would highly recommend against working with them.
