Evan coordinated removing the sheds and rocks, building a dry-well to fix irrigation issues, installing a patio and sod and building a fence. There were also some permitting issues that required altering plans and delays due to terrible rain storms and they worked around all of these issues well. Over all it was a great experience. I'll be hiring them back for seasonal cleanups.

Evan trimmed them beautifully, and they look so nice in a new bed of mulch! That was a pretty small job, but it came out great! Also had a patio put in this summer and my lawn was torn up really bad by the bobcat and other machinery for pouring the concrete. I wanted some sod to get it back up to speed quickly and Evan came thru again! Got it all done in one day, and the sod looks great! He gave me good instructions on how to keep it going during the heatwave, regular watering in the AM and evening, but not at night. It's doing great so far and I'm very pleased with E&J Landscaping! The crew showed up on time at the agreed upon date. This vendor had previously done work for me with no problems on a prior job and I was expecting everything to go smoothly. I even referred them to my neighbor who hired them for some additional work to be done while they were onsite at my house. Unfortunately, there was a disagreement about what 2 large branches were supposed to be trimmed on a large oak tree. I did not get the work done that I had agreed upon with Jordan. I needed a large branch removed that was in danger of falling on my neighbor's shed. That had been discussed at length with Jordan and was the primary reason for the job. A different and much smaller branch was removed instead. Stump grinding was part of the job and that part was completed as agreed. The stump grinding equipment was left in my neighbor's driveway and a truck came to pick it up. The truck drove across my lawn. This was really not necessary since the equipment was parked in a driveway and easily accessible without driving across my lawn. This is not a big deal for me (my lawn is ok) but some folks do get upset about this stuff. Misunderstandings about which branches were to be trimmed can happen. However, I don't feel that they really cared to try and resolve the issue with a reasonable compromise in good faith. Poor attitude. I paid them in full for taking down a different branch and will now have to hire another vendor to finish the job. This vendor is no longer welcome on my property. If you do use this vendor, make sure you get each branch clearly marked.
