One piece is at the bottom of the door which holds the rubber seal in place. The other piece is a weather strip on the side. For five months, we've been trying to get them to uphold their one year manufacturer warranty for parts and one year warranty for installation because we have mice coming inside at the seal. The seal isn't chewed. The mice can push it up to get inside because the piece used to hold the seal in place is cracked. Are you looking for a reasonably priced garage technician? These guys at The Door Doctors are…read moremechanical geniuses! They can fix anything, but they've really honed their skills on garage doors. My family, like many others, uses my garage door every day. It opens at least 25 times a day, . If you add the opening and closing of the door's , it's probably around 10,000 times a year. But here's the thing: my garage door was heavy and noisy. It was a real struggle wearing out my garage opener. Kevin, the technician, came to my rescue. He accurately weighed the doors, calculated the right springs, tensioned them correctly, and tuned the door to a gentle close. My wife is so happy since the garage door no longer can be heard in the upstairs bedroom every time someone comes in or out through the day. The Door Doctors did such a fantastic job on my first garage door I decided to have them work their magic on my other door even though it was already operational. When I compared it next to their work it was very obvious it was originally installed by total amateurs! Now both of the doors operate smoothly, and our counter balance to weigh almost nothing. I suspect this type of attention to detail will add considerable longevity and not require replacing springs frequently. Thanks again, Kevin! You're a true professional. And guess what? They also sell a replacement sprocket( SPEEDGEAR X2) for belt-driven garage door openers. He was able to install these on both of my LiftMaster belt driven door openers, fixing the known issue of slow opening. https://youtu.be/rI0ueaMyKSg?si=wVpEe1RpKOkharx9 I highly recommend them to anyone who needs garage door repair or maintenance.
