I was traveling with my 16' Horse trailer from Dallas to San Antonio. About 6:30 at night I stopped…read morefor fuel and found my rear axle bearing had burnt to the point I was afraid to move it off the gas station lot. Everyone is the area was closed. I called R&H before they were even open in the next morning. This family owned business jumped into action. Jeb came over to check the trailer and assured me it would be safe to drive the 2.5 miles to his shop. Once there they provided me an area to unload my animals while they worked on my trailer. The trailer being 20 years old, parts were not readily available but they never stopped looking and eventually fixed me up and got me safely on the road. In a situation like I was in they could have easily gouged me on the price as well but they did not take advantage of me. Their main focus is on semi trailers and reefers but what they did for me will not be forgotten. I'm thankful for this caring family and the lengths they and their employees went to to get me safely to my destination. I highly recommend them if you're ever in need of trailer repairs.

So I tried to adjust the tandem to see if the repairs they did actually worked but it didn't! It's still broken! Jeb recommended that it needs a full rebuild and it will cost me about $4,000. They billed me $650 and my money was spent for nothing. I had a 1-man welder fix the mess they did to my tandem and finally got it to work. And I only had to pay that welder $120. Good luck with R & H and more power!

They have consistently been the friendliest, most professional repair service I have encountered in my half-century of RV ownership. They do a superb job of fixing things that are "broke," but if it ain't broke, they won't pretend to fix it; they'll explain how to make it work without charge. They installed a custom towing rig, allowing me to tow my Maverick hybrid, which has worked like a charm. When they do make a repair, it generally stays repaired, but if not, they stand by their work and will make it right. They are honest, personable, and charge very reasonable fees. In short, they are about as good as an RV repair shop can get!

I searched for local RV repair not connected to a dealership and found this business. I called and told them our issue and we were able to drop it off at their shop (they also do mobile repair). Bonus- they answer the phone!!! They diagnosed our issue- They were not able to locate the parts locally and had to work with the RV and part manufacturers to have parts shipped to them. They went to bat for us and coordinated everything to be completed before we were scheduled to depart for our next destination. Daniel and Shawn are great and very caring. We are thousands of miles from home and they treated us like family. THANK YOU HEART OF Texas RV Pros!

I went in on a Saturday to look at a specific kayak they had in stock. As soon as I opened the door…read morethe smell hit me. The shop smells like a litter box. There's at least 1 cat walking around and it's clearly been using several items in the place as scratch pads. One kayak had the flooring all torn up. The furniture with padding is disgusting! There are birds too. Cages were disgusting. Even the fish tank was gross. In fact, the place looks like it's owned by hoarder. There's stuff stashed in various areas. The more you look around, the more you see. Now on to the shopping experience. I told them what I was looking for and they directed me to a "salesman". He showed me what I was looking for which was outside covered in dirt. That's where his usefulness stopped. He had no clue about any of the kayaks I wanted to see. Told me the kayak had 800lb weight limit but it's actually 650lbs. When I asked where the floor inserts were he said they didn't come with them, but they actually do come with them already installed. Asked for a specific color and was told that color was "defective" and the manufacturer was recalling all of them, and that's another lie. When he realized I wasn't going to buy one right then and there, he proceeded to follow me around the store for the remainder of my visit. The only way he would've gotten closer was if he had ridden on my back! I ended up driving to San Marcos the same day and bought the exact kayak I wanted. If you buy anything from here, make sure you disinfect the hell out of it.

It had hair and scratches in the boats and furniture. Then there were bird cages that smells bad as well with almost black looking water in them. Fish tank didn't look too good either. There was a bag of open chips and other food items like salsa out in what looked like a break room, along with what looked like newspapers and trash laying around. It looked like hoarders storage unit. The boats were dirty and the kayaks were stacked on top of each other outside. So you had to move them to look at the other ones. It just looked completely unprofessional compared to other places. The sales guy didn't know anything. Everything he said was completely wrong from the pamphlet they have of the kayak I wanted sitting up front for anyone to take. If I can't get this kayak I want from anywhere else, then I'll just swim around.

Way, way over priced for shoddy workmanship and delays in completion. A real rip-off joint! I wound up having to correct a trailer wiring repair because they did such a pi$$-poor, sloppy job. Plus the multiple charges for "shop supplies" that exceeded the cost of what I was having installed! I was passing through Killeen TX which is close to Nolanville TX where CenTex is at. I was having smoke coming from my driver-side rear tire of my 36 foot coach which smelt like burning rubber and oil. They were willing to assess the problem and after about 9 1/2 hours later they explained that it was a rubber o-ring on the wheel-well that was leaking. They told me my breaks were fine after putting everything back together and $419.78 for a little over $50 in parts I thought I was good to go. Getting back on the road we were 35 miles out of town when I noticed barrels of smoke rolling out of my wheel hub again. I Called CenTex and they told me I would need to be responsible and bring it back if I wanted them to look at it (they have road side service trucks, but I guess not for me. To fix their F-up). I said screw it and brought it to a place called Youngblood Auto and Tire in Lampasas Tx. They sensed this was an emergency and were willing to take an immediate look at it. one of the mechanics crawled under the rig and noticed right a way that the caliper for the break pads was herniating a rubber seal which was rubbing against the disc, giving me that burning rubber smell and also leaking out break fluid. He was pretty alarmed that CenTex missed this problem since it was so obvious for him to find. The big WTF moment of this whole matter is the price difference and time involved between the two. Youngblood Auto had to clean up CenTex's mess, worked their asses off to get me back on the road, changed 4 break pads (that were not fine which CenTex said they were), replaced the damage caliper, replaced lost fluids and bled the braking system and had me back on the road in 5 hours vs 9.5 which also included having to wait for the parts for only $438.88. Warning! Don't let CenTex screw you when your in a tough spot. I guess they saw me as a sucker to take advantage of.
