We actually stayed away a lot. During this major rehab, not only were we not here daily, but we also allowed assistance from Cyndi, Neal's designer, which was a wonderful experience. As far as Cyndi goes, I showed her what I wanted from all of my saved pictures, ideas of my dream kitchen in my head, and then she would go pick multiple items and I would choose from those. She did this with the flooring, counters, backsplash, cabinetry door styles, etc. Many times my vision might not have been her vision, but she went through it with me, listened and we ended up exactly where we wanted to be. I decided I would do the lighting myself because I enjoy that especially. Not only did Cyndi make this big rehab an easy process, but she made it nice for us and she's a pleasure to work with. I would say all of the guys did a really nice job inside, but we would be remiss if we didn't give a special shout out to Troy, who always seemed to go the extra mile and added many special touches all around. His attention to detail and his work is extraordinary. He truly understands it's the devil in the details and it's the little things that mean a lot. We feel the job would not have run nearly as smoothly if it wasn't for his overall managerial skills, his talent as a carpenter and his determination on delivering a superior product. Obviously we also enjoyed Chuck. He would always answer any questions always tried to be helpful, and was very attentive. Like I said, we liked all of the guys on the job, but we want to mention Ajax, who is very talented at his job, a true craftsman and also goes the extra mile. Although the job was finished a few days late and we do feel that could've been avoided, we are still extremely thrilled with the work that Neal's did and the quality of trades that they hired. They are worth the money. I think the most important question to ask whenever you do anything is, would you use them again? That's certainly a tell all. Absolutely yes, we would use Neal's again.

I found Brandon via a google search and decided to give him a call based on his 5 star google reviews! Let me tell you he is the only person you will ever need to call for home renovations! From the first initial phone call I knew we were in good hands! Brandon is SUPERB with communication, very easy to talk to, has GREAT ideas, trustworthy, patient, hard working and can do it all! It's evident that Brandon puts his heart into his work! He took the time to really explain things and talk me through different ideas. (Everything you would ever want in a contractor!) I worked with Brandon long distance (without meeting him)to do a remodeling project. Initially, i thought I would have to fly back and oversee the project, but not after I found Brandon. The best thing about him is that his standard is to go above and beyond. He easily could have cut corners without me knowing but his top level of communication and care for our home continued until the very last walkthrough. He is beyond thorough and his craftsmanship is unmatched. I am telling you he is a one of a kind type of contractor- considered yourself blessed that you have found someone that will exceed your expectations! The best customer experience I've ever had- a thousand stars!

The workers and home office have impressed me greatly. All are professional and want the end…read moreresult to be excellent. Communication with me was great throughout my project which included a large number of pavers and a large stamped-concrete driveway. Soon after the work was completed I had concerns as there were some areas of polysand failure, and I observed white areas on the driveway that had been tinted and sealed. But the company offered to come back in a few months to fill any areas needing polysand, and they offered to add more tinting to the driveway if necessary and to re-seal the driveway. This will satisfy all of my initial concerns. I'm very impressed with their willingness to make their customers overjoyed at the outcome. There were 2 teams performing this large project. The first team did the paver repairs. The before-after pictures I include show the uneven pavers are now perfectly flat (and clean). The work for the 2nd team was faster than what the manufacturers recommend on their websites. However the company has been in business for many years and they assured me that they have successfully done this work in even hotter temperatures in Florida, and they always apply sealer to pavers right after applying the polysand. They used Accel polysand for the pavers. I especially respect and am grateful for this 2nd team, Jake and AJ, who worked through 90+ degree heat and very high humidity. Although my property has many trees, it was still potentially dangerous and definitely uncomfortable.

After it was done, there were all kinds of problems. We appreciated the fact that two experienced guys came out quickly to assess and try to correct the sealing. What we did not appreciate is that they told us the other guys were new at this. Was an $8,000 project not enough for the A-team? The guys who came out to fix it, tried another coat of sealer. Also didn't work. They called a guy in Florida who "knew everything about sealers". They tried another product and it seemed to work. However, some of the sloppy work from the first sealing still shows. Every time I'm out there, I see the lines on the pavers from the first attempt. We thought we had done our research in good companies. It apparently wasn't enough.
