They do not honor their warranty!…read more Background: I had Granite Transformations resurface my cabinets in Centerville, OH in early 2021 and they did a fine job at the time. 2 of the cabinets near the stovetop have since warped due to normal cooking (despite using the vent fan while cooking). Since these cabinets are under warranty, I called to get these replaced. The company stated that since a heat shield isn't installed, they won't honor the warranty. (At the time of installation, there was never a mention of the need for a heat shield.) This seems to be a case where the company looks for any excuse to perform warranty work. I would AVOID Granite Transformations at all costs!

I hate to leave a bad review but wanted others to be aware of our experience. King Stone's prices…read moreare unbeatable and Ali was courteous to interact with, selecting and ordering our countertop piece was great. However, our selected piece broke in the warehouse a few weeks prior to installation and King Stone installed a different piece (of the same pattern) for our countertop without asking/telling us. It wasn't until we noticed the difference that we found out about our piece breaking. We would have been understanding about the accident and happy to come back in to select another piece, but the way the situation was handled was very frustrating. Ali has not returned our messages, apologized, or addressed our concerns. Moreover, communication about scheduling the measuring/installation was less than ideal, we went a week without a response then had a 20 minute notice when they showed up for installation. The workers (who were very friendly and did a great job) had the completely wrong customer information as well (thought I was an 80 year old woman who "was always home"). The countertop is a custom fit and looks great in our bathroom, but the fact that it was not the piece we chose and this whole experience left a bad taste in our mouth. Overall it was a very unprofessional experience and unfortunately we would not do business with them again for our future projects.
