Everything looks so good! We chose the same shingles for the house that we had put on the carriage house/garage, and although it's hard to see up top, they do look amazing. And the drainage around the house is SO MUCH BETTER. At the time the crew was out, we were having other repairs inside the house, and everyone did the trades shuffle with grace and humor. You haven't seen a crew work like these guys did until you realize they roofed a 7,200 sq ft historic house in just 3 days--including the flat roof rebuilds. So much attention and care was paid to the fabric of the home, and each flat roof got its own plan and treatment. He asked a third time if my husband could join us, citing that I might not be able to remember all the information I was given. I asked them to come and do a good job, but it's been months and they never made it right even after texts and calls with the owner. The owner's accent is so thick that I can't understand him, but I received what felt like a harassing phone call from him after weeks of asking when they are going to come out. After this, I learned their price was higher than what I should have paid from a friend that does contracting for a living , but that's on me - I should have quoted other places. Finally, I found a tree that had been knocked down after the job. I didn't see them do it, but I was hoping they'd say something. I replanted and staked the tree and it lived fortunately. They also left a huge roll of scrap fence at my home that is garbage I'm going to have to pay to haul. I asked them to pick up their garbage but they never did that either.
