I have no complaints. There are bathrooms in the back as well as a coat rack. There is plenty of space to feel comfortable taking your time. While there is no food, there are drinks available and they allow in and out privileges with your wristband. My wish would be that they find 720, the skateboarding game... Paperboy, and Crazy Taxi, and add them to the lineup. Also a few more shooters from the 90s, as those were quarter guzzlers that we could never finish with real money. You prepay for your food, seat yourself, and then servers wander around aimlessly checking table receipts with no real system or direction. They're clearly in need of table tracker devices or better organization. The bathrooms were clean. In addition to playing mini golf, you're trying to solve various riddles at each hole to solve a mystery. I was hoping the prize for solving would be more interesting than a sticker, but it was still a pretty good time. I'd probably stick to Puttshack next time I wanna play mini golf, though. For the escape room, my boyfriend and I did Mystery Manor. With the additional price of unlimited hints (I think this helped), our price for two was around $100. I thought it was pretty expensive, but after the experience, I do think it was pretty worth it. There were many nuances to the escape room, which included various rooms and additional spaces you unlock by solving each part. At the end, they offer to take a picture for you and give you a little envelope to open (if you get out). Overall, positive experience! I'd return for the escape room.

LaserX of Addison is the center of operations of a local meetup group I run. The location is great!…read moreWe are at the center for everyone: people from down in Joliet and people up in Palantine. The location itself is very wonderful. I grew up coming to this place for birthday parties with my friends. The location to this day is still very organized, clean, and friendly. As for the laser tag itself, they did recently upgrade their guns and they are awesome. I love the shield mode and all kinds of new features. I do have criticisms though that should be addressed: 1. As a regular client, the location is starting to get boring. People know all the secrets, all the lights, all the traps, etc. Can you please consider changing the floor layout every so often to avoid tedium? 2. The decorations inside the arena are starting to show their age. They all look great, but a lot of them are no longer functional. I think upgrading the decorations in the arena would be awesome. 3. The "towers" are a really cool addition to the laser tag games, but the blue tower can be guarded very easily. Unlike the red and yellow towers, there's only two entrances into the blue tower and it can be almost impossible to get points taking it down if two good players are camping there guarding it. 4. The obstacles are barrels and walls. I think it would be cool if the arena had more variety including different shaped barriers or more things to avoid. 5. There's 4 interactive shootable lights around the arena. I think it would be really cool if there were more of those to shoot at. 2 of them turn on lights, while 2 of them just give you points. Overall, LaserX of Addison is wonderful and I'm so happy that the location is still open. I am just on the fence with the upkeep of the arena. The laser tag system is great, but the arena itself does need some improvements. There's not enough updates to keep people wanting to come back to see what's different.
