But the real reason it's so much better is they have a fabulous person on staff here named Monte. Monte was nice enough to help me with the big machines along the back wall. He says there from Germany and are Superior to the old style box machines. He showed me how to operate the machine and was very professional. They are really lucky to have him. I'm not a brain surgeon when it comes to operating laundry equipment. Needlessly to say Monte is a wonderful addition. Having a 711 a few doors down is also nice.

So, it ticks the non-negotiable laundromat checkboxes. Not much seating inside but lots outside. Rates are in line with the other laundromats I frequent in the city, the peninsula, and the east bay. Apparently customers are civilized in Larkspur because even though this is not an attended laundromat it still seems to stay tidy. Wendy the owner got to know me and was extremely helpful on my first visit 2. No more coins! You can use your phone to pay and track your washer/dryer end times. 3. Entire place is very clean 4. All the customers are polite and respectful of each others space 5. The person who does mending is great 6. When picking up the dress, the staff did let me know that there was a small stain which they couldn't get out (it was barely visible, I wouldn't have noticed if they hadn't pointed it out). I appreciated that they informed me of this, and asked for more details on the fabric composition, before attempting treatment of the stain. It was evident that the people at Montecito Cleaners are very knowledgeable and responsible with garments. I'll definitely be back the next time I need something professionally cleaned!
