Quick backstory here. I was once a happy Soapy Joe's customer, but the location I was going to was a little out of my way, so I started going to the La Mesa soapy joes location. The moment I tried their wash, I knew it was the beginning of the end. Their vacuums were broken, barely had any sucking power, and their towels usually left residue. In any case, I complained before about their vacuums but they didn't do anything about it. In my opinion it seems their new management just doesn't care about quality control. I continued my membership for several months because I was under the impression that they were the only good monthly car wash membership in town. But I just about had enough and was ready to just go back to getting one or two car washes a month and paying per wash. Thankfully! I found iWash which is not even a few blocks away from where I live. Upon arriving, I was immediately greeted by Eevil, one of the iWash attendants who quickly attended to me and offered a wash based on my needs. After exiting the wash, I parked my car to begin wiping down my vehicle and I absolutely loved the quality of the towels. I grabbed the vacuum and the sucking power was beyond what I expected. This is not an exaggeration, but compared to the vacuums at Soapy Joes in La Mesa, these vacuums are at least 10x stronger. Overall I am very happy to have found a new car wash; and thanks to wonderful attendants like Eevil, I have finally found a wash membership that is actually worth the price I pay. My only complaint would be that the car is not as dry as I'd like it to be after the wash; but that's just the case with any automated car wash place. Regardless, I would definitely recommend getting at least the $19.99 "Extended" monthly membership wash for the most bang for your buck, try it for yourself! read more

I purchased monthly $35 at the price of $10 during their promo on 8/14 which was great and I washed the car twice, I went with the $35 to see how good is the quality of wash, I was disappointed on both times, after I leave the car is still dirty, their equipment doesn't scrub well, all the debris from birds and trees still all over the car, hardly anything cleaned, it does basic wash but its for sure not $35 quality, the service is great, the guy & gal both optimistic and energetic, decent amount of lots but again the wash quality bad, if you expect to leave with your car shining then you are definitley at the wrong carwash, I had high expectations but I am so disappointed, I am cancelling my subscribtion tomorrow but I will visit again before the last day since I have one more week to go and will update my review accordingly if things got better. read more

Love washing my car here.... I usually pay for the bogo.... and save my ticket until I have time to go again. Well they expire, now I know. Not only did the manager say, Oh, it expired. I can't do anything about that, would you like to purchase a membership?..... then he crumpled my ticket for a wash I paid for and threw it away..... worst experience ever. A NEW KIND OF CAR WASH I rarely visit car wash places because you either have to go with expensive full service or those gas station ones that barely wash your car. This is a hybrid of the both. You can drive up buy a wash and slide right through the automated system. If you are in a hurry you can drive right away with a clean car. The air dryers actually work well! I hate when you don't get enough time to let the air fully dry your car. If you want to take the next step, you can dry it yourself with provided towels. There are stations out from with plenty available to vacuum the car as well. All of this starting at $8 or buy a monthly service at $9.99 for the first month. My car has never been this clean! Fast, easy, and they have nice damp towels and free vacuums for after. As long as you don't mind putting in a little work to vacuum your car yourself and wipe down anything on the inside, this place is great! Also it's only $10 for the basic wash! read more

Employees are professional, car wash does a great job, and the entire presentation of the facility is very nice. I had to give it a 3 STAR because of the air freshener was just horrible. Omg! After going to this place for a year or more, my card expired and I receved a new one. When I went in to get my car washed, I was in form buy wash express my account need updated. I went to give them my new card so I can continue my service. I was told I had a promotion and when my card # changed my account was CX and I no long could get the promo I had. I was told I should have drought my new card in 2 wks earlier so they could transfer my cards. When I said I didn't know that, I wasnt told that nor was I ever told thats what need to happen. He said its my fault, cuz I didn't bring in my new card. When I ask if this was in writing or on the content, I was given nothing. This is the only drive thru wash I've found that I trust to not damage my car and actually clean it quite well. The difference are the brushes are slow spinning. They do not beat the crap out of your car like most places with fast brushes. They also have two sets of brushes and two sets of rinsing and a ton of dryers to hit all sides sufficiently. After multiple attempts- online and in person, I never was able to cancel and I was charged again. The employee was rude over the phone and although I was able to provide proof of attempt to cancel service he didn't offer a refund. What a way to scam people! Good wash, car gets clean, can get very busy at times though. Best part is that they do not use the rubber like most places that can leave scratches, all machine brushes are microfiber material. Towels and vacuums also. read more

I was in the car wash and something flew up and hit the hood of my car. As I was drying i noticed it made a scratch I told a worker he went to look half heartedly. I asked for the manager and he looked at it and said it was an old scratch!! I asked him was he a scratch expert! He refused to take a at responsibility or to offer to check throughly for the object. Antennas and trucks aware... Over all I am happy with the car wash but if you have a traditional antenna make sure you take up their offer to remove it before going through. I use car washes regularly and this is the only one where my antenna wound into the roller and was flattened to the truck multiple times. (Needless to say it was not the same shape when I came out the other side). At one point I thought it was going to rip off based off some of the sounds it was making. Trucks just be aware that you may have to make an effort to use their vacuum area because it is not a big property so maneuverability is limited. Again, I believe they will remove the antenna for you, if you can drive well a big vehicle will be ok and the faculty is well kept and very nice! read more

I purchased the monthly unlimited car wash here. But had to cancel my membership after a couple of weeks because while drying my car, I noticed a bunch of small scratches on my fender. Went in to get a car wash came out with a crack in the windshield on a brand new car!! They Cracked my windshield, mangment didn't care and blamed it on me, will never be back here again. One of their employees came and started touching the car and ranting that its not their job to pay for windshields. And they blamed it on rock chips and its not true because if you look at the crack its a clear line there's no rock chips in there. they claim to have a sign that they are not liable for damages, but i didnt see any sign they completely lied to me! This car wash facility is new El Cajon, took my car over there for the first time, paid the monthly premium $20 for unlimited washes, as entering the tunnel the guy was fixing tape on the rear wiper as this is common at any other professional car wash of such type which I have been dealing with, I looked thru the rear view mirror and felt that one little piece of tape is not going to hold, and as expected it did not, the blade fell somewhere in the tunnel, as I was calling the guy he came with the blade and he tried to install it back in place, apparently was broken already, he suggested to come over next day so they can order a replacement, but I told him not to worry about it thinking its just a $10 worth, with a 2nd look at home it turns out the arm is missing pieces as well and became useless, now the cost jumped to $30 from Amazon, tried to reach them several times with number listed on the receipt (same number above) but no answer. This post and negative rating will stay up until I hear back from them with their offer of reimbursement amount for the wiper. read more

Ok, the car wash has great prices and is convenient I decided to join their membership get unlimited free washes it's closer that the superstar cash place to me, however I started to notice scratches new ones almost all the time after a wash now I don't know if it's the car wash but to be safe I decided I should cancel try to find a touch less car wash without the brushes in case.. I called the number to cancel didn't work then went to them to cancel and was told go on the website ok go on the website and the area where you cancel is down.. How convenient for them huh? They finally after returning canceled my subscription at the car wash with a extra charge for not canceling within 7 days ok took them less than a minute and they turned me away hoping I would go home not be able to get on their site then just sit forget about it. I had been going here for about a year and it's been a fantastic car wash due to the monthly unlimited package and they have always provided clean towels and vacuums that work good. It is so wonderful knowing that I can have a clean car everyday if I wanted to. I had run into an issue though with billing when my credit card expired but Evel took care of me and resumed my previous billing amount which I was very happy about. read more

Ok car wash. The young men that work there are extremely respectful and helpful. The owner is absolutely horrid. He is rude aggressive and disrespectful. He only caters to customers with nice fancy cars and allows them to stay parked in the stalls for as long as they please. If you have just a regular car he is already reminding you of the 10min time limit after 5 min of you drying your car. I asked for a refund on a BOGO car wash he said he wouldn't do it. As I was driving away he gave me double middle finger in front of children in the next stall. Disgusting. There are plenty other car washes that are much better than this one. read more
