Honestly by far the worst nail salons there is. I came for a French tip pedicure. The service was well and they were polite. It don't look like they wash their utensils, they don't have a proper spa (chair and a bucket) and I was just turned off. If your looking for a luxury experience don't come here. Obviously
Came in for a quick manicure while my son trained at a boxing gym a block away. May did an amazing job cleaning up my cuticles and with the gel polish. Will be coming back for a pedicure next time!
Came in as a walk in and Loved how my nails came out such a beautiful job thank you very much! Good pricing also. I will recommend this nail salon in the area the Ladies here are very nice.
Trust the process!! Even though it is kinda cheap here the nails are worth $80 nails. I've been to many nail salons and I usually go to an expensive one in Oceanside but this one has outdone that one. My nail tech made sure my nails were perfect! Definitely recommend!!
Great hole in the wall nail salon. Very small location but they're reasonably fast with customers. I wanted to get long coffin nails but I was doubtful if they'd be able to do that. I wasn't disappointed. Kim did a wonderful job with my full set. I also got a pedicure and the other lady did a great job with my feet. She even helped relieve my in grown toe nails. I highly recommend this place. Cheap and pretty good quality. The gel on my fingernails is a lil see through but oh well. Not the cleanest or most luxurious place but gets the job done
I love this place, this is my second time going and they make me feel so welcomed! Helen did a spectacular job on the design and length of French tips I wanted, I start a new job tomorrow and I am required to type I have to keep my nails very short, the shape and length is very comfortable and the sequin design is so cute. For the amazing work this nail salon provides you cannot beat there price, I will definitely be returning!
Horrible place! Just because you have customers waiting doesn't mean you should rush with the customer you're serving. I went in for a mani and pedi. The lady that did my pedi did it in such a rush. And the lady that did my nails didn't do a good job. Air bubbles on my nails and then nails were not completely filled. I sat and waited for my nails to dry but felt rushed out because they had other customers. Oh and $1 extra charge if you use card. Hole in the wall place....hole in the wall service....never again!
I recently discovered this nail shop from a fellow coworker. She always comes to work with the craziest nails out of anyone I know, til finally, I asked her who she went to. She gave me Helen's card at Evon Nails and the rest is history... This place is perfect for my tastes. She can do awesome nail designs, without charging an arm and a leg for them. She blings out my nails when I am in the mood, or tones it down with just a french tip when I'm trying to keep it professional. More than anything, she is a sweetheart. Most ladies I have gone to, act like you are an inconvenience. Since I've made the switch a couple of months ago I haven't gone anywhere else. The neighborhood may not exactly be posh enough for some, but I like it that way. I can run in and grab a Four Loko at the liquor store and get my nails did all in one block.
WOW. Been trying to remember the name of this place... I just found their business card. I just had to write a review because the impression this place left on me will last forever. Firstly, I was looking for a nail salon around city heights to take my step-sister for pedicures. Choices were limited. And everywhere we went had nothing that resembled a pedicure station. Finally I consulted trusty Yelp. And there was Brianna S. singing Evon's praises. I called to get confirmation that they did in fact do pedi's. Upon arriving we were received by the warmest gentleman who ushered us in like we were old friends. I was very skeptical as there were again, no pedicure stations. But he spun two mani station chairs facing out and insisted we sit. I was slightly confused till this elderly woman came out carrying a plastic basin full of hot soapy water. Wow. How could I be so spoiled as to assume everyone in the business has comfy chairs that massage away the stress while your feet soak in a jacuzzi tub filled with bubbles? I would enjoy this experience! (I decided optimistically) It was new; and new is exciting. That is until she started cleaning my toe nails... yee-ow! However, in hindsight, I can tell you I have never had such a thorough cleaning, nor have my toes looked prettier. The lovely man's wife Helen came in around that time to do my sister's nails. She was so wonderfully kind. She and her husband were just the sweetest people I have ever met. I told them how I found them, and introduced them to yelp. I read them the only review they have (till now). Helen was so touched and overwhelmed by the idea that she would have never known about yelp had it not been for the divine intervention that lead me there, that she began to cry. Helen and her husband were so In awe of the idea of reviews that they decided to give my sis the works (see photos). They definitely rock their own techniques, but Helen is an artiste! Ask for her if your in. The other woman was also very sweet, but perhaps because she is older, she definitely doesn't always "see" the boundary between your skin and your nail when painting. In any event the kindness and warmth flowing from these people were nothing short of Christ-like. Because of the language barrier, there were a lot of "you're both so nice" responded by "YOU so nice!" exchanges and hugs all around at the end (upon their insistence). Because of the love, I give it 4 stars. But note that you will feel like you have just been transported to a less ornate time, likely a 3rd world country, so according to your own standards the star factor might be quite a bit less. If your from NY like me, you're probably expecting facilities you're more likely to find in Coronado. But if you want true service, these people do not disappoint. They will treat you like family. And that is an experience worth having.

Small and cheap polish selection. Pretty sure they don't sanitize their tools. Be careful! I would come here again because of the price and its close proximity to my house, but in the mean time, I'm going to keep an eye open for any infections or lesions that may appear on or around my nail bed.
Very accommodating, friendly and a bargain! AND they have parking in the back! I found this place on yelp and I made a last minute appointment with my friend. We both got pedicures and gel manicures. I will be going back to Helen ASAP =)

I love my gals at Ivy nails! Helen is fantastic! She's been doing nails for 27 years and is quick and reliable. I've never gotten a complicated design, only sims gel colors but she always works to find the perfect shade. Pricing is reasonable and I haven't had a nail break or chip. Couldn't recommend more! Pedicure is always great! read more

Still a great place to go. I started going elsewhere for more upscale services, but the game has been stepped up here as far as vibe. I'm happy to be back again. Helen and May are my two favorites in the salon. Got a soak off for my Gel-X manicure from elsewhere + a new set and spa pedicure. read more

I go here to get my nails done every 2 weeks because they do a great job for an awesome price. $22 for powder gel! They don't really do the whole cut cuticle things or massages or frilly stuff which is fine with me, but would be nice. Gets busy there so I suggest calling first. I have walked in before waited 45 min... read more

This is the second time here and I am not disappointed. Helen has a great memory. She remembered my first time coming here and she remembered I came w my daughter. Ken did my nails and she was so careful w my hand, especially when trimming my cuticles. I found my nail place finally. Prices cant be beat because it is tied w excellent customer service. I will be back over and over and over again and will refer this place! Love the fact that they have parking for their customers!! Gel nails was $20 and they massage your hands after... love love love this place! read more

It was a Sunday, there was a wait, then they called in some help... That's when Helen walked in... On her day off. She was super pleasant & interactive with me. I showed her a design and she was able to duplicate it. She also waxed my eyebrows... I'm now hooked. Thank you Helen, for making me feel so welcome. I truly enjoyed "hanging out" with you. read more

I think this place is fantastic. It's not what one may be used to when going to a nail salon (no massage chairs, small staff) but you definitely get your money's worth. For a full set, design, and pedicure I paid less than I normally would for a pedicure alone at other places. I went today after about a year and a half of not going there and everyone remembered me. They were friendly as always and Helen more than exceeded my expectations for my nails. I love them! read more

Quite the quaint place:) it's not super fancy at first glance but when you leave feeling like a million dollars it leaves a lasting impression:) Helen's art is simply amazing!! She is a true Artist!! I have bern coming here for over a year now, and I love it! Helen is so sweet, and knows me so well! Every girl in this sshop will take the time to get to know you and will be able to give you exactly what you want when you keep coming back Helen is so amazing (and so is everone else there!). she know how to style my nails so that they have that classic look I live so much, and shes great with re-creating designs that I want to try. the best part? still reasonable costs, and nails that last mr at least 3weeks! im never going anywhere else again!!! ...if youre in the market for a nail salon that you can always go to, you have to check this place out read more
