Rosedale staff provide quality services and really care about the residents and their quality of life. It's very clean and well kept. Each department has dedicated workers at all levels, housekeeping, dietary, nursing staff, activities program, (life enrichment) , administration, and reception. Today is my first visit with my mother, and the level of service she is receiving has stood out immensely.First, I want to commend three of your aides: Janelle, Z, and Sadie. My mother Ms Bonnie is currently dealing with an upset stomach, requiring frequent changes. These three young ladies have been coming back and forth to her room continuously. They are remarkably gentle, compassionate, and professional in getting her cleaned up and fresh.Second, I want to recognize her speech therapist, Heather (affectionately known there as "Hot Dog"). Heather has been incredibly caring and helpful during meal times. She has been closely monitoring my mother to ensure she can swallow her food safely, while working hard to identify her best needs and figure out the exact eating level plan she should be on.In this field, a lot of places do not provide this level of care, but these four individuals truly stand out. I want to ensure their hard work is formally recognized by management and placed in their personnel files. I was transitioned to Villaspring after I shattered my hip and had a hip replacement (this was…read moreimmediately following a stroke with hospital stay and rehab). Most of the staff was very apathetic (especially the night staff). I was almost given the wrong medication a few times. Fortunately for me, I know my medication very well. I have severe anxiety. My panic attacks were commonly ignored. One night, I cried and borderline screamed the entire night (I didn't sleep). The nurse ignored me, even though she could have talked me down or given me a Xanax, which I am prescribed. It was my first night there, and I was scared. I went to a different rehab facility (Encompass) after my stroke, and had very few panic attacks. The staff was always able to talk me down. Some nights, I waited as long as an hour to use the restroom. I had alarms on my bed (pretty standard). I eventually started setting off my alarm after 20 minutes, so the staff would come in and I could use the restroom. I am not a difficult patient. I never had problems like these anywhere else (hospital, other rehab). Don't send your family or yourself here! It was terrible.

Aides are lazy, management doesn't resolve any issues that are taken to them. The entire building and everything in it is falling apart or is totally unusable. The lady that runs the kitchen, Mary, tells the residents that the kitchen staff are lazy and that's why they aren't getting the meals that are on the menu. It's really Mary's fault for not ordering the correct food or enough food. Teenagers in the dining room are lazy, talk to each other over the residents and are always on their phones. The old director, Manny, had no idea about how to run a Nursing home. He left with Pristine. The director that Trillium brought in quit real fast when he saw how messed up the home and staff were. There's another new director so who knows what will happen. I DO NOT recommend anyone putting a loved one in this facility.

Then, they will not refund your money when they show that they can't provide that care. My dad stayed there for 10 days and it was a very poor experience. In his 10 days, he received a shower one time, on the 9th day - despite repeated discussion with the nursing director. His groin was severely inflamed due to this lack of care. His room was constantly a mess that we had to clean up or it would not have gotten done. On the 10th day, he fell out of bed and was sent to the hospital. We took this time to move his stuff out of the room and find some place better suited to care for him. Not saying this facility is not right for some, but it definitely was not right for my dad. We were told that they could provide the level of care he needed, but they failed to follow through on that commitment. One of the staff even got into a verbal argument with my sister over his care. When things went south, the staff, including directors were unresponsive and very slow to respond to our inquiries. If your loved one needs a higher level of care and supervision, this is probably not the place for them.

It's slowly turning into a nursing home and the patients who just need assistance can't get the proper care. They are on a 2013 pay scale and if you work over 40 hours they steal and take them off your check. They deleted Google reviews so hopefully this can't be deleted and people see who they really are .I wouldn't recommend working there or staying until new management takes over! If I could leave 0 stars I would!
