It provided the best value, but more importantly, the staff is excellent. From nursing to maintenance to dining to housekeeping, the staff there go above and beyond. They treat our family like family, and they have come to be extended family to us, and very important partners in care. We have the ultimate trust and respect for the staff, and that makes all the difference in the world when you are looking for someone to care for a loved one. We feel like our family members are very safe and loved there. In regard to recent events with Covid-19, the staff is diligent in following Ky State Rules and Regulations, and did an excellent job keeping the residents entertained while on state mandated "lockdown." We could not be happier having Ivy Knoll as our partner in care!

Today is my first visit with my mother, and the level of service she is receiving has stood out immensely.First, I want to commend three of your aides: Janelle, Z, and Sadie. My mother Ms Bonnie is currently dealing with an upset stomach, requiring frequent changes. These three young ladies have been coming back and forth to her room continuously. They are remarkably gentle, compassionate, and professional in getting her cleaned up and fresh.Second, I want to recognize her speech therapist, Heather (affectionately known there as "Hot Dog"). Heather has been incredibly caring and helpful during meal times. She has been closely monitoring my mother to ensure she can swallow her food safely, while working hard to identify her best needs and figure out the exact eating level plan she should be on.In this field, a lot of places do not provide this level of care, but these four individuals truly stand out. I want to ensure their hard work is formally recognized by management and placed in their personnel files. I was transitioned to Villaspring after I shattered my hip and had a hip replacement (this was…read moreimmediately following a stroke with hospital stay and rehab). Most of the staff was very apathetic (especially the night staff). I was almost given the wrong medication a few times. Fortunately for me, I know my medication very well. I have severe anxiety. My panic attacks were commonly ignored. One night, I cried and borderline screamed the entire night (I didn't sleep). The nurse ignored me, even though she could have talked me down or given me a Xanax, which I am prescribed. It was my first night there, and I was scared. I went to a different rehab facility (Encompass) after my stroke, and had very few panic attacks. The staff was always able to talk me down. Some nights, I waited as long as an hour to use the restroom. I had alarms on my bed (pretty standard). I eventually started setting off my alarm after 20 minutes, so the staff would come in and I could use the restroom. I am not a difficult patient. I never had problems like these anywhere else (hospital, other rehab). Don't send your family or yourself here! It was terrible.

Yes mom was dizzy and I had home health in, plus I was there every day. I was promised by several Directors don't worry we will check on your mother every two hours. well I talked to my mother at 8 pm on June 9 she was going to bed. the next call I received was the next morning when she was found in the bathroom floor. I was told she had been on that cold hard floor all night possibly as much as 11 hours. she went to the hospital for a few nights to rehab and now long term care, tomorrow she will be in Hospice. the night she fell yes she pushed her button around her neck. the problem they had agency temps in and they had No keys to get into any of the resident's rooms. so my mother's life has been cut short by their profound negligence. oh this is not the first time Magnolia has had temps in with no keys. please consider another Assisted living for your loved one. My hope is this review will help someone else.

They know all the residents by name, and they are super friendly and helpful. The food is also very good for a facility of this type. I joined my parents for lunch the other day, and we all had an excellent taco salad. The servers are genuine and very efficient. Doreen was our server that day - she is always top notch! Having him with us on the tours helped us feel confident we were asking all the right questions. With David's expert help we were able to find the perfect place in record time. David not only helped us to explore the best available options based on our needs he also provided invaluable information about things we needed to keep in mind as we went through the process of choosing a place and how to make it happen. We learned that some of the things we had been worried about were not really issues. He made us aware of things we had not even thought about that we needed to know. Now only a month later, my mom is happily getting settled into her perfect new home. I can't say enough good things about David and about Assisted Living Locators.

my sister and i placed my nephew here after his mother passed away, this place did not take very…read moregood care of him and recently allowed him to sign himself out to move to Wisconsin with a stranger and did not notify his family. They stated he is cognitive and can make his own decisions. My nephew has Cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheel chair, he can't eat, drink or even dress himself. This is not a good place, and i would not recommend anyone sending their family members here.
