Arrived 10 mins earlier than my appointment to fill up a form and for the staff/receptionist perform a preliminary test on my eyes. Dr. Karlin performed a comprehensive eye exam including checking the eyes to detect for diseases like cataracts, glaucoma and recommending preventive care. I had to buy my prescription glasses from another optical shop but had an issue since I opted for a progressive lenses and the reading prescription is somewhat incorrect. So I went back to this store for a vision reassessment and Dr. Karlin accommodated me on the spot for another eye exam without any additional charge. Fast/easy booking, friendly and experienced staff - I will surely come back here for my next eye exam.

The optometrist is amazing: she did a full and professional eye exam, she took her time with a very caring approach and explained me everything she was doing. They got many models and famous brand and some frames are even as low as 200$. I highly recommend this place!

3 Words: 1) Rude 2)…read moreUnprofessional 3) Messy This has been the worst experience I've had with any professional business. From the moment I walked in, the office was littered and had used tissues. Monica has been extremely unprofessional by raising her voice, getting frustrated and yelling when I ask questions, and asking me to leave/come back a different time after I'd confirmed my appointment due to a scheduling conflict When I ask for my contact lens information after the appointment, they have told me that my information is "hard to find" and that they will call back. When I ask why it's hard to find, they tell me they're busy and they will call back. Literally, while speaking to them, they will cut you off and just say bye on the telephone. I've been told THREE different answers when asking for my contact lens information: 1) It's complicated.. we will need time to find it 2) Sure, I'll send it to you in 10 minutes- they did not 3) I will "try my best" to find it I feel like I had to beg to get my contact lens information. As soon as they got paid by me, the "customer service" was gone. I will never return. I have had a horrible experience with this place. Its cheap for a reason I guess.

The best combo of traits I've come across at an eye clinic/storefront combo. This made me feel very comfortable proceeding with an eyeglass purchase. The staff who helped me choose eyeglasses were also extremely helpful and courteous. I can't stress enough how important this is as I'm well aware eyeglasses are a high margin, high reward industry I've always been reluctant to purchase eye-ware at the same storefront. I ended up with two sets of eye-ware that I put to immediate use with a cross canada drive from Ontario to BC. The prescription sunglasses they helped me choose were a perfect fit and a perfect lens. My reading/working glasses were also a great fit and I'm growing very attached to the fit and lens choice.

She did not explained the pros and cons of the frames and make recommendations based on my prescription. Submitted a Google review with full honesty that their staff Jennifer suggested me to purchase the Gucci frames. Jennifer then lied about this situation by replying back saying I chose to purchase the frames despite her recommendations. This experience shows that Jennifer does not take accountability for her mistake and put blame on their customers for what happened.
