Desperate for any form of help and/or advice, I stopped by the place. The owner (sorry, I forgot his name) was so incredibly helpful. As challenging as it was to make adjustments due to the style of the glasses, he was able to figure out a solution. I was so ecstatic!!! Not only did he amend the alignment of the temple arms so I could now wear my glasses, he did so expecting NO COMPENSATION! I was so eternally grateful, I persisted to INSIST he accept my offer of payment. Afterward, he gave me a lovely token (glasses care products). I'm am in AWE of his kindness and professionalism! I cannot recommend Amazing Optical more!!! You will not be disappointed!

I dropped it off and was told that they would try their best to get it done by the next day. When I called the next day, to my horror and not their fault they said that the work was not done because their courier did not pick up my glasses due to the big snow storm we had the previous day. Clarence the owner assured me that he would drive up to Richmond Hill ( where the lab was) and get it done and drop it off to my house that night. And he did at 10pm, 6 hours before my flight! The fact that he went above and beyond my expectations totally blew me away! I offered to pay extra for his gas etc and he vehemently declined.... This is 5 star service in my books!!

The experience at this clinic is…read moreincredible - Dr. Tang is professional, very thorough with the eye examination, great at explaining, truly cares about her patients and wants the best for them. She is very patient and has a cheerful personality which puts a BIG smile on my face during my visit :) I felt very at ease in her hands. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable - overall, a very pleasant experience, thank you :) During the comprehensive eye examination, I got my pupils dilated. Be sure to bring a pair of sunglasses with you if you're driving - you will be sensitive to lights! Or you can purchase a fashionable pair in their dispensary. The clinic carries a great selection of brand name eyewear and sunglasses! We also did something called Optomap wide-field retinal scan, which carefully and thoroughly checks the inside of the eye for any hidden eye diseases, monitors suspicious areas and changes from year to year, and confirms that everything is healthy! During the visit, I also learned that Dr. Tang specializes in contact lens wear, LASIK consultation, and Ortho-K (AOK) overnight corrective contact lens for myopia control in children. You can also make an appointment online anytime using their real-time schedule - very convenient and easy to use. I went to a trendy DT Toronto spot for my glasses and while the styles were great and the service was thorough, there was a disconnect with me having to go somewhere else to get my eyes tested before choosing my frames and lenses - a Wal-mart no less. I walked in and wanted to ask about the headaches I'd been having since getting my new glasses and Dr. Allyson took my glasses and ran them under a special machine to examine exactly what my prescription was and what they were comprised of. Thankfully everything checked out and Dr. A explained that because this was a slightly stronger prescription than I was used to that headaches were normal and to be expected. While I was happy with the individual service I received from both the Wal-mart optometrist and the store I purchased my glasses at, I think in future I would prefer to visit Dr. Allyson so I know that every part of my experience is in-house at one location. Fast forward 8 years later they rebranded, are now in Brampton, and it's the same nice family that runs it. There is father and son who treat you with such respect and have a lot of patience. My mom wife and I went here and arrived right before closing. They allowed us to stay without ever pressuring us to leave just because they wanted to make sure my mom and wife we're comfortable with the glasses they selected to save us the long trip. They even adjusted the glasses we bought from then three years ago, which I thought was overly generous. The store is totally decked out with this neon futuristic tone splashed throughout the display units and very open friendly space to sit and try out glasses. And we got an appointment immediately and we are here for the exam we had a small waiting time which is tolerable and they did explain how two insurances company work together and how me and my husband could submit the claim. And also they do offer free eye exam if we take the glasses from them and adjust the fee with the glasses. Which is good, and it would give you more room of expenditure for your glasses.. they have pretty good collections , as I would always say they have quality than quantity.

What they are basically doing is not giving the prescription so the people can shop around for glasses, they want you to be bound to buy they glasses; so they claim the fee charged will go towards the purchase of the glasses from them.

However, the treatment works and I am thrilled with the immediate results! My eye glass prescription is perfect and I can see much better now and I love my new frames.
