Everyone there was been just wonderful. She has blossomed, and we are so proud of how far she has come. We had speech and play therapists come to our house weekly and we joined the co-op preschool, which is the highlight of my daughter's week (and everyone is excellent about COVID precautions). In co-op she learned to share toys with other children, follow directions in circle time, play at the gym, and try new snacks. They teachers are very patient, kind, and thoughtful and gave advice on not only speech exercises but behavior, managing tantrums, setting boundaries. In a society where teachers/therapists don't get enough credit, I wanted to say thanks to Theresa, Jen, Katherine, and Laura. Things such as making a personalized bedtime routine chart, wearing a princess dress for my princess obsessed daughter's birthday, and setting up her favorite toys mean a lot. My daughter has gone from whispering just "mama/dada" to using her voice and saying 10 word sentences / verb tenses so she is "graduating" (complete with a tiny cap/tassel and grown). This will make her transition to daycare/preschool much smoother, and I hope she will always love school like Kindering co-op. We will miss these teachers very much and are truly grateful for everything.

Finally, when visited on the 3rd day, the patient didn't have a call button available at his bed until a friend went to visit and insisted on it being provided. This was called out to the director the day prior, but she insisted there was a call button at his bed! At breaks, sometimes the pager was locked in the meds cart with no one attending to patient requests for help. Patient was asked to yell to get help, but his room was adjacent to the laundry and the noise from the commercial laundry exceeded the patient's voice. Additionally, someone would close the room door, so no one would hear him. A patient shouldn't have to beat on the wall to get help. Patient has repeat issues with UTI, but facility wouldn't submit a sample to the lab until 2 days after the request. He unnecessarily was under duress and pain due to their lack of willingness to submit a sample to the lab. When interviewing AFH's to have patient transferred out, the facility portrayed the worst possible and most difficult scenario so they could keep their bed filled. Thank goodness, a wonderful AFH went to interview the patient to see he was fine for themselves. Lastly, because the patient's finances were in transition and there was a delay in paying the co-pay due to the facility, the facility director reported the patient's advocate for financial fraud to insure they'd get paid. The police and adult protective services were involved. This was very unfortunate and unnecessary, especially because the facility was kept informed as to timing for payment and it was completed in a reasonable amount of time. It's alarming to have "professionals" be so unhelpful and divisive while caring for such a vulnerable patients. The director and staffed lacked timely responsiveness, helpfulness, attentiveness not only to the patient, but to all involved. Hostility and untruthfulness were also issues. The patient felt he could've easily died under their care. It's better not to send someone here. He's doing much better at the AFH where he now resides.

I'm sharing my experience with Dr. Farook to warn others about her billing practices, which I found…read moremisleading and unfair. I scheduled a routine annual check-up and went to the office, where I was weighed and had my blood pressure and temperature taken -- standard procedures for a yearly exam. When Dr. Farook entered the room, she asked how I was feeling and if I had any concerns. As soon as I responded, the appointment was reclassified as a "problem visit" instead of a routine check-up -- a change that significantly impacts how the visit is billed to your insurance. Annual check-ups are usually covered in full by insurance, but problem visits may not be, and I was never informed of this switch during the appointment. I later received a surprise bill. When I contacted the office for clarification, I was told that the "after-visit summary" would reflect the billing codes. However, this wasn't communicated clearly at the time of the visit. As someone over 50 who has had many annual check-ups with various doctors, I've always discussed general health concerns during these appointments without unexpected billing changes. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. In my opinion, Dr. Farook was not transparent about how her services would be billed. If you choose to visit her, I strongly recommend asking upfront how any discussion during your visit might affect billing -- especially before answering general questions like "How are you feeling?" I do not recommend Dr. Farook due to this lack of transparency.

I'd spent a year with another PT office which gave me helpful exercises but never did more. So I'm improved but everything reappears. When Meena looked at my shoulder pain then at surgeries I've had on that side on my arm and back she started working on releasing and some slow stretch with her hands. Shoulder is 50% less painful. Today I stood up on my knee ( again, I'm a fall person) expecting trouble in balancing and pain and it was fine (100% less pain). I hate to tell you a success story in process as It may lead to fewer appointments for me!! But I do like the approach. Heal well, my friends.

She always effortlessly and efficiently makes sure my grandmother is taken care of and always goes above and beyond. but with recent witnessed experience, I think she has been treated with unfairness and in my opinion, employees like her shouldn't be taken advantage of, but consider the effort and respect she shows towards others. I moved my 92-year-old mother from Brookdale Assisted Living in Monroe to North Creek by…read moreBonaventure on the Bothell-Everett highway in Bothell, WA. Mom's memory was declining, and she needed memory care. The first time I took a tour of Bonaventure I was highly impressed with the facility. Just walking through the front door gave a lift to my spirits in that I was greeted with a brightly lit, newly renovated looking facility. The dining rooms looked like elegant upper-level restaurant dining. I found out they have a "gourmet" chef on staff and after trying their food I would agree. All the staff - the administration, the nurses, and care aides - even the maintenance people - were all highly professional and personable. The facility was welcoming as well as the people who work there. Dulcie Chase, the admissions director, was very welcoming and pleasant; as was each of the receptionists and Dakota Bingham, the assistant executive director. They all give the impression that this is not just a business, it is a welcoming living space where residents are seen as people with feelings and needs. My mom, entering the end of her life with memory loss and dementia, had a couple weeks of adjustment she went through. After this adjustment period was over, she warmed up to the staff caring for her. I found the staff from the very beginning trying to make mom's stay as pleasant as possible, looking at all her needs, and responding to my requests. They truly cared for my mother up until the time of her passing. They were with her when she passed, which I really appreciated. The staff always welcomed my presence, visits, questions and suggestions. I did not have one negative experience with any of the staff. My wife's mother and father were also at Brookdale in Monroe until they could no longer give my father-in-law the level of care he required. We suggested Bonaventure and set it up for them to move. They were quite impressed with the facility, the food, and the care level offered to them. As of this writing my mother and father-in-law are residing there now. With my father-in-law's new and more intensive level of care, the staff is highly responsive to our calls and the Assisted Living Director, Lara, is easy to work with. I can tell Lara really cares about her job and the people she serves. My father-in-law is now getting the end-of-life level of care that he requires. I could not be happier with the facility and the staff who care for our elderly parents. I highly recommend Bonaventure.
