There actions dont represent there words. After my Mother passed I did give suggestions for improvements but I'm not very encouraged.

Although much of the the staff was pleasant and did the best they could, there was no possible way they could keep up with the residents. Simple needs were not met at the facility--from laundry and medication dispensing to large things--like allowing your parent to walk around in soiled pants. So many things went wrong here, which meant that I had to pick up the slack, and be there all the time. I eventually moved my mom downstairs to memory care, which is when things really went downhill. Each time my mother had an outburst, they called the police (3x). Each time, they required I hire a caregiver for her. Between the rent and caregivers, plus me being there all the time, it was too much. Please do not send your parent to Overlake terrace. The daily activities are lackluster, the residents are not well cared for, and the menu is super basic. Don't be tempted by their low prices either--you definitely get what you (don't) pay for.

This is not the place you want to go to if you need 24 hour medical attention visa vi dementia ward type care but if you do need a round the clock care taker they offer that as well. If you want to maintain a sense of executive ownership of your own transportation they have private valet included as well as to restaurants for food and transportation that simply tailored to your desires. The staff checks in with you every day and there are constant intercommunity activities as well as be able to schedule your own Uber black style private town car for transportation pretty much anywhere in Bellevue. There is also a weekly transportation trips into Seattle up to Everett and up to Kirkland if you want to make a weekly Costco trip for normal supplies. The staff here is pretty much specifically instructed to dote on you and spoil you and help you out with things and that is so nice to see the facility that really looks to serve its residents individual needs. Full disclosure I am one of the weekend drivers at this facility and I've taken people to dozens of different kinds of locations and we're really there to serve the residence. I'm super happy to work here part time for a company that solves transportation needs for the Belletini residents and staff.

They know what they are doing, and we will follow what they have to say". Covid 19 has changed everyone's life. As the years have gone by the place has become unmanaged, the housekeeping is horrible and the food is awful. It is definitely not chef quality food as the advertise. My sister has complained repeatedly about the housekeeping and food with no avail. I just recently visited my mother and her apartment was filthy, her sheets, clothes and towels after being laundered were all crumpled up in a pile and thrown in her closet. I immediately went to management with my pictures I had taken and they had housekeeping go in to clean it and as they were leaving I did an inspection. Not much had changed so I proceeded to tell the housekeeper what needed to be cleaned and she ran to Al, the manager. He tried to convince me that the housekeeper was not done but before he came in, she had explained to me she was. After raising my voice I finally got some attention and Al and the housekeeper got the place pretty clean but never defrosted the freezer. My mother is paying $20,000.00 a month for rent and care and her apartment is an embarrassment!!!! Her apartment is rundown and it needs a paint job and new carpet. People who have visited my mother have agreed on the condition of her apartment and the food. The turnover of employees is huge. My mother has been at Aegis longer than any employee that has worked there, including management. We've had four new managers in 5 years. Aegis Lodge is down to one elevator because one of the elevators is broken and has been for along time. In the last year my mother has lost clothes with the laundry service and I found a man's shirt, with his name on it in my mother's closet while I was visiting. Would I recommend Aegis Living to one of your loved ones, absolutely not! Unfortunately I live out of state and so I cannot be on top of this all the time watching out for my mother. If you have a loved one, please keep an eye out for them or this could happen to yours. I do not recommend this place!

Instead of being treated like a burden, she was treated with love, like family. All the staff were sweet and wonderful, and exactly the kind of people you'd want to care for your loved one. The mansion is beautiful and cozy- definitely feels like home! Everybody who lives there always seems happy. We were lucky to find such a warm, friendly group of people to take care of my grandma. Joy and Art are a truly wonderful, genuinely caring, loving couple, and we were lucky to get to have them in our lives!

This is a new facility built two years ago. And they still have about 48% of their occupancy available. If you guys are interested this is the place you should definitely look at. No joke!!! I'm only 38, but I'm going to be keeping this one in mind for future needs. lol

She always effortlessly and efficiently makes sure my grandmother is taken care of and always goes above and beyond. but with recent witnessed experience, I think she has been treated with unfairness and in my opinion, employees like her shouldn't be taken advantage of, but consider the effort and respect she shows towards others. My mother-in-law said they blame and chase all the good employees out. They are filled with empty promises and once moved in, management shows no care at all. They act like seniors aren't smart enough to see what is happening. When you can even find a manager, which they haven't had a solid one in a while, they are too busy to take your questions/complaints, etc. The company itself is just about collecting your loved ones rent, they certainly waste no time in slapping on a late fee once you're a day late. The staff - caregivers, receptionist and servers are amazing, but all leave which I can't blame them. The food is not healthy, and the cook seems to think it's chef quality. I wish we did better research as the facility has been put in stop placement before and the company itself owed the Attorney General's office 7 million dollars due to its neglect to residents. I choose this…read morefacility because of its location, their philosophy on memory care, cleanliness, decor, and the staff. The decision to move my Mom from out of state out of her home into a facility was very difficult especially with her condition. Peter, the manager, along with many other staff members have bent over backwards to support me and my Mom through this process. I have relied heavily on their expertise and kindness. I have been so impressed with how hard the staff works to do what they can to help my Mom adjust and live in peace and comfort. Any concerns I have are always addressed with respect, kindness, and support. I visit my Mom several times a week and consistently find the staff working to create the best situation possible for my Mom. I feel so much gratitude for the staff and that my Mom has landed in such a good place!
