From the moment you walk into Leticia's gorgeous salon you feel at home. It's beautiful wood finish and pristine artistic design that is well lit with natural sunlight feels as if you are stepping into a magical tree house. The staff is warm and friendly and they immediately made me feel comfortable the moment I got there. Daniella and Amy are excellent and I always feel welcome when I am greeted at the door to the careful way they care for my hair. When living in Manhattan I would get frequent blowouts from my stylist and was accustomed to a certain style. Not only did Leticia do a fantastic job, it was the best blowout I ever received!! She also gave me an excellent cut a few weeks later to clean up my layers. I then met Lastenia, the senior expert colorist at Aura Salon. She was very patient and listened carefully to my needs and what I desired for my color. It took me a few weeks to decide on making the move, and I am so happy I did! Lastenia took her time and was meticulous and it came out fabulous! The color was natural and beautiful and blended well with my previous highlights. The spa is small but pretty and very clean. which is nice. Going somewhere off a review can be sketchy sometimes. Tracy did the airbrushing and she was super nice, she asked how dark I wanted my tan and knew exactly what I wanted when I told her I was getting it for my sisters wedding and the color of my dress. The airbrushing took about 15 minutes plus drying and some powder to help in the creases. I will definitely be back for events or anytime I just want a good tan!

The technician was very thorough, and she did the treatment in literally 5 minutes. I was so pleasantly surprised! After two treatments I no longer see shadows under my arms. I still get hair growing in, but it's fine and light. After 7 treatments for my underarms, I still get hair growing in. I only have to shave about once a week though, and there are no dark shadows. It's more like peach fuzz. I am 4 treatments into my lower legs, and I hardly have ANY hair growing back!

I was asked how short I wanted to go and I said 2-3 inches. Now the longest part BARELY touches my neck. Flyaway long hair pieces on both sides of the face that I have to cut myself to even them out. When I try to put hair up one side falls down, which means the layers are uneven, one side shorter than the other. Where my bangs end, the first layer ends too, making the mushroom effect. After I wash the hair it will be even worse! The website is stunning and maybe they specialize in keratin and color, but this haircut has left me in tears. I have a wedding in 3 weeks to attend and thinking of not going because of this. Beware if you plan on going for a life changing haircut, it will be just that!
