Little did I know, after going twice AND paying twice, my eyebrows are worse! She cut off most of the hair to be able to work on my brows...but since the color didn't stay, I now have bald spots. I originally came to Cozy Nails to get a standard manicure, but the owner talked me into getting a UV Gel manicure. I was sold when she told me that the polish will not chip for 2 weeks. To have my steadfast color of choice, Lincoln Park After Dark, not chip for two weeks was too good to be true. And so I caved. Wow, was this woman meticulous. Even though she had a few customers waiting, she took her time with me and made sure each layer was evenly applied and had ample time to dry. The result: a perfect manicure that took OVER two weeks to grow out and chip away! Best of all, it only set me back $35 all in, which is fairly reasonable for UV manicures. In case dark colors aren't your thing, Cozy Nails has a whole spectrum of UV gel colors, as well as standard OPI and Essie polishes. Be sure to snag one of the business cards - after 10 visits, you're eligible for a free manicure.

I told my nail person that i would like to have some quiet and listen to the music. That was after at least 10-15 min. of a loud conversation on speaker phone. He was insulted and amazed that I dare ask him to end the conversation. He rudely got up and left the store. I was told to wait for another nail person to be free. I waited again- for a significantly long time- because at that point my polish was removed and my nails were raw. Finally, Anette finished my nails. She did a horrible job. Never did she offer a smile- an apology- anything. She continually was talking high volume to the surrounding tables the entire time. My nails are sharp and I can scratch myself leaving marks on my skin. All new staff here. Avoid going. Not friendly - Not professional- Totally rude staff. There are too many nail salons in this area. The only thing (Besides cleanliness) to me with choosing a salon is CUSTOMER Service- and obviously they have none. Go somewhere you get a smile and a welcome. And they do not perform a customary "Light back/shoulder" massage afterwards. Which every other nail salon I have ever gone to has done. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The new owners have no clue how to treat people with respect and curtesy. The customer is always right- Even with the language barrier - They should learn to treat people with respect. The place is always empty now- didn't need any appointment. Old owners knew how to treat people. No respect- No professionalism- No business. Be forewarned. Find another salon who will treat people better. Do not give them your business.
