He explains everything - from the materials/tools he uses, and why he uses them. He is big of making sure things are clean and sterile. Unfortunately, the outcome of my final tattoo was extremely disappointing. During the session, my skin was overworked significantly, which resulted in multiple scars. I have never gotten scars from any other tattoo. During the healing process I had an open wound in the center from my skin being dug into. There are also major inconsistencies in the black ink saturation throughout the piece, so much so that parts are fading out. The tattoo itself ending up not following the reference, as a lot of the lines are shaky, the center of the flower lacks definition, and the petals are not cohesive. I understand that tattoo artists can become exhausted, especially during long sessions, which is why I wish I was firmly told to come back another day. If an artist is too tired to give a piece their full attention and care, it would be far better to firmly reschedule for another day rather than continue working while fatigued. This experience genuinely impacted my confidence and how I feel about my body, which is really upsetting because my goal with tattoos is to feel more in tune with myself and style. Unfortunately, the outcome has led me to begin the tattoo removal process, which is both emotionally and financially stressful for me and is about to cost me a lot more than this tattoo.

When I met with the piercer this summer, she told me that the barbell jewelry I wanted would need to be ordered and that she would contact me when it came in. I specifically asked her to please contact me about it, and she assured me that she would. I never heard from her. After waiting about a month, I called the shop myself. I explained the situation to the receptionist and gave her my name and phone number. She told me she would give my information to the piercer so that she could call me. Again, I never received a call. Weeks later I also reached out to the piercer directly and received no response. At that point, I emailed the shop directly hoping that management or someone else could help me. I explained that I had been waiting for an update and simply wanted to know whether the jewelry had been ordered and when I could expect it. I received no response to that message either. That is what ultimately led me to leave this review. It wasn't about having to wait for the jewelry. I understand that special orders can take time. It was being told that I would be contacted, then calling and being told again that the piercer would contact me, reaching out to the piercer myself, and finally contacting the shop directly, and still receiving no response. After all of those attempts, I honestly felt ignored as a customer. I rarely leave negative reviews, which is why this is especially disappointing for me. A simple phone call, message, or email, even just to say there was a delay, would have made a huge difference. Unfortunately, after repeatedly trying to get a simple update and receiving no response, I've decided to go somewhere else for my piercing.

My first piercer (2024?) was a guy-- I didn't get his name-- but then Tetiana did my most recent piercing (March 2026). And I'd highly recommend either of them as piercers! The prices here are a bit high, in my opinion... the cheapest price for two basic, "starter" earlobe piercings was ~$110. But I feel like the price is worth it because they are super sterile, surgical-grade, extremely knowledgeable in any piercing placement, and seem like they have many years of experience, no matter which piercer you go to. They're super thorough and sterile with everything, which obviously matters most. I highly recommend and will continue to go back in the future!

The girl at the front desk was super friendly, and I felt welcomed as soon as I arrived. I was in the best hands having Devin pierce my septum. He made me feel very comfortable & relaxed, reassuringly talked me through the process of what to expect, and it couldn't have been more painless. His instructions for care were very clear, he seemed more than accommodating to have me come back in if I ran into any issues (I haven't), and my piercing is starting to heal nicely after a week. The shop is also very safe with COVID precautions and they take cash only.
