I've been under the care of Dr. Michelle Lee for over 8 years now, and my teeth have never felt better and cleaner after every visit. She truly treats her patients and staff like family. The moment you walk into the office, you know right away that you're not just a block on her schedule. I've been seeing Dr. Michelle Lee for a decade. She's so gentle, she's personable, and really goes beyond to making you feel as comfortable as possible in the chair! Her chair has a massage option! You can tell she cares about your health because of how meticulous she is with her work. My mouth always feels so clean like glass afterwards. My wife and I have been going to Dr. Lee for almost 2 decades now. I generally go only twice a year for my check-up and cleaning. Though, I've had a few root canals done as well. Even slotted me in at the last minute due to emergency on a Saturday no less. So, yes, he's our family dentist come hell or high water. I'll let the other 5 star reviews speak for themselves as to the skill, competence and professionalism of Dr. Lee. My experience is likely no different. It's seriously like having your uncle work on your teeth. That's how comfortable we feel with him. He's always been honest and upfront with us. And they always call you a day or two before your scheduled appointment, but are generally very good about switching the appointment even if you wait until that call to inform them. My tip? Ask for the 1st appointment of the day (10 am) so that there is no wait. read more

Michelle Lee is literally the worst dentist I have ever seen. I told her that I had had a panic attack when getting a filling in the past and said that I would probably need to be sedated while getting a filling because the sound of the drill set me on edge. She instead insisted it would be "different" and said that maybe I should listen to a podcast. I felt trapped and had another panic attack. She is a not a great human being and a half-assed dentist. Full disclosure: I know Dr Ivan Lee outside of his dental practice. He and I workout at the same place and is such a funny and generous guy that I switched my dentist to hang out with him. He's been my dentist for two years now and as long as he keeps me laughing without resorting to nitrous oxide, I'll keep going. So, Ivan is ridiculously funny. He's always cracking jokes and is the life of the party. This works well because it makes the usual drudgery of a dental visit a much more entertaining and pleasant experience. His staff also has evening hours so I can schedule my cleanings to be after work. If you see him, I recommend you ask him to tell you some jokes or ask him for some self-deprecating humor. read more

Apparently, I had 2 cavities - one he filled with too much filling which caused a tooth infection. It's been swollen and infected for a month now and it's very painful. The other cavity that he "fixed", the tooth now feels sharp pains when I drink something hot or cold. I need to take advil every night now due to the pain. Would not recommend. read more

OMG! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Dr. Ivan Lee!! He is so awesome and I have never met dentist who makes me feel so comfortable; he is friendly and so informative through every step of the process. He has decades of experience and it really shows...he removed my wisdom tooth in 7 minutes!!! On top of all of that, he has given me the best prices after calling around many, many dentists in the NYC area (including Brooklyn!). Never have I been so happy about going to the dentist. He's the only dentist who has never made me feel painful when I took the xray. He keeps his appointments very well, I rarelly need to wait for more than 15 mins. His staffs are all very polite and courteous. One last thing, I always wonder why he always talked so much while he's working on my teeth and when I can't talk at all... read more

Dr. Lee has been my dentists for 30 years and is now my sister's, niece's and numerous friends' dentist too. Dr. Lee is not just a dentist with a great sense of humour but a very knowleadgebale dentist that has always made my visits pain free. This dentist claimed that I had 5 cavities. I was so shocked given my regular attendance to get cleanings. I went to get a second opinion and so it turns out that I actually had zero cavities. He even went on to fill the right side of my mouth and had schedule a date to come back. Ivan was completely unethical. He is lucky that I didn't press charges. I've seen Dr. Lee a few times and he is very thorough with exam and teeth cleaning. He also helped replaced my crown with a much higher quality one. Dr. Lee is not in-network with any insurance which can be a good thing. Most people don't know that insurance pays dentists and doctors in general extremely poorly, especially if you're on medicaid. As a result of that, some of these dentist that takes these crap insurances may do a terrible job because of poor reimbursement. When I had medicaid, the previous dentist did a shitty job overall, cheaping out on materials, use of mercury fillings (cause they're cheap), half assed teeth cleaning leading to more cavities, etc. Dr. Lee is well worth the money because of his thoroughness and years of experience as a dentist. He also uses composite fillings instead of cheaping out and use silver fillings, which looks a whole lot better. read more
