She just had X-rays in August but we could not reach our dentist to provide them on such short notice. They just kept saying it's covered. She has perfect teeth, not 1 cavity and Cindy the hygienist concurred, but the office manager insisted she get X-rays. She had already had the cleaning. They said it was a HIPPA violation if they didn't take the X-rays. This policy should be disclosed prior to treatment and we would have cancelled the appointment. The office manager was very aggressive. I told her not to take the X-rays on the phone, but then they basically held my daughter hostage until she agreed. Do not subject yourself to this predatory practice. Imagine what they'll charge you if you actually need work done!
