IV Power Electric did a fantastic job on our recent electrical project. They removed an old ceiling fan, installed a new ceiling light, added bedside sconces, and put in gallery wall lights along with the necessary switches. The workmanship was excellent throughout everything was installed cleanly and works perfectly. What really stood out was the professionalism: clear communication, reliable scheduling, and getting everything right the first time. On top of that, they left the entire workspace spotless when they finished, which isn't always a given with contractors. Highly recommend IV Power Electric for anyone needing electrical work done right. read more

Mr Bell has responded to several tasks for us. Each time he was prompt, professional and always extremely pleasant. More importantly he is very good at what he does. Most recently he had to install a level 2 charger for my new electric vehicle. He reviewed the wiring and identified an issue that could have been disastrous. I found his pricing very fair and because I trust him I am more likely to address an issue earlier rather than hoping the problem will go away only to make the matter worse. read more

Mr Bell is the man you want to do all your electrical work. His pre-quote inspection walk through of your project is superb. His preparation and attention to detail is exceptional. And his process, work ethic, and ability to coordinate all scheduled activities (showing up on time as promised) is an example of the gold standard he exemplifies . He does the work as requested and does it correctly the first time. Electrical work can be a tricky thing. And if it is done improperly, it can be disastrous. Mr Bell has 43 years of experience, knows the proper Codes, and knows most of the City building inspectors. Trust me, you want Mr Bell to do your next project. Hoping you have the pleasure of working with him. read more

Potential fire thwarted! I have electric heaters on my patio and they stopped working. I called and Willie Bell came out to look. He assessed that the switches had gone bad and replaced them. In his very thorough review, he informed us that not only was it not installed to current code, there was too much power loaded on one of the circuits which fried out the wires to one of the units. I'm so glad he found that. I feel very safe knowing he checked everything out. Will keep his number on speed dial! read more

We had a great experience working with Willie. He was very easy to communicate and schedule with, and he arrived on time. He was personable, professional, and completed the installation of five smoke detectors quickly and efficiently. His pricing was fair and transparent. Highly recommend! read more

Do yourself a favor and call Willie Bell for all of your electrical work. I am an electrical engineer and I could tell he knew his stuff! Willie was a real joy to have work on our home. He replaced the electrical panel and installed new breakers for some garage circuits. The work he did was clean and neat, and they even patched the dry wall even though they dont normally do that work. They wept up the whole area and left it better than they found it. He really went above and beyond what was requested and did such a great job. His team is extremely respectable, knowledgable, and precise. The price quoted for the panel replacement was more than fair. Please, I can not stress enough, go to Willie for electrical work. read more

I've had the pleasure of calling Willie several times for my electrical needs, most recently last weekend for installation of a level 2 charger and associated separate breaker, conduit, and 240V plug. A True Professional and Problem-Solver -- 10 Stars If I Could! I rarely write reviews this long, but when someone goes above and beyond the way Mr. Willie Bell III from IV Power Electric did, it deserves recognition. After weeks of frustration, failed appointments, and wasted money with other companies, and time. I was at my wit's end. My air conditioning and heating system wasn't working properly. Then I remembered Mr. Bell. He had done some electrical work for me in the past, and I had been impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and outstanding work ethic. So I decided to call him again. And let me tell you, that was the best decision I could have made. From the start, Mr. Bell was punctual, courteous, and professional. He showed up exactly when he said he would and got right to work. He carefully inspected the system, asked intelligent questions, and explained every step of his process in a way that made me feel informed and at ease. Within one visit--just one--he correctly diagnosed the issue, which turned out to involve an improper grounding that no one else had caught. Let that sink in: five visits by two HVAC companies couldn't solve the problem. One visit by Willie and it was fixed. His rates were very reasonable and competitive, especially considering the skill level, time, and clarity he brought to the job. No upselling, no vague language, no brush-offs--just good, old-fashioned integrity and know-how. What sets Willie apart is not just his technical expertise, but his thoroughness and genuine care. He made sure the issue was fully resolved, tested everything carefully, and followed up to ensure it was all still running smoothly. And on top of that, he's just a really personable guy--easy to talk to, respectful, and clearly passionate about doing a job right. I now have a reliable AC and heating system again, and peace of mind knowing that the issue was resolved the right way. If you're looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and honest professional, I cannot recommend Mr. Willie Bell III and IV Power Electric highly enough. read more

As he has done several jobs for me, I highly recommend IV Power Electric / owner Willie Bell for your electrical work! You will not find a better electrician. - Electrical expertise: Based on decades of experience and comprehensive knowledge, he can quickly assess the project scope and time required to perform the job. The job is done right the first time! - Reliability and Communication: Meets his commitments and communicates the status throughout the project. He works extremely hard and finishes the job in the estimated timeframe. - Works clean: He seals off the work area with plastic sheets and floor coverings so dust and debris does not get all over the furniture and carpets/tile. After he leaves, one would never know that "construction" work was done in the area. - Organization: He comes with the necessary tools and parts to perform the work and therefore the job is performed efficiently. - Price: Prices seem fair, especially considering there is no re-work required. read more

Willie Bell is awesome. Incredibly responsive and friendly. Very fair prices. I was frankly shocked at how far above and beyond he went for us when he wired our tankless water heater. Our neighbor had the same unit installed, and we (incorrectly) assumed that his electrician had done things correctly, so we requested the same from Willie. Willie checked the manual, noticed things in our neighbor's set-up didn't look right, then had a long discussion with the manufacturer to verify. In the end, he not only saved us from not utilizing the full potential of our new water heater (since our neighbor's electrician hadn't wired his to power "both sides" of the heater) but also from voiding our warranty. After installation, he spent time educating us on how to tweak the unit's electrical settings and how its power needs would interact with the rest of the appliances in our home. I will absolutely contact Willie for any needs in the future. He's a great dude and a very skilled (licensed) electrician. I recommend him without hesitation. read more

I had an excellent experience with Willie Bell and IV Power Electric. I called with an inquiry about installing an electrical outlet, and Mr. Bell responded very quickly. He is an excellent communicator and planner. He asked me for some information and photos so he would know what was required for the job. We made an appointment and he gave me updates about his arrival time 30 minutes in advance and again when he was almost at my home. When he arrived, Mr. Bell had everything he needed to complete my project with him. Like I said, an excellent planner. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He did an excellent job in a timely manner, and cleaned up everything after he was finished. That in itself is enough for a five star review, but Mr. Bell is also a very nice person and we had a pleasant conversation too! I whole-heartedly recommend him! read more

Willie Bell LOVES being an electrician -- and it shows! He not only does great work, he can instantly spot what someone did wrong to cause the problem. In our case, a non-electrician handyman did a "quick and dirty" installation of a two-sided electrical outlet on our detached garage (one side is indoors, the other side is outdoors). We could easily have had a fire! The plastic outlet case was melted, the electrical plugs were melted, and the wires were melted. Willie repaired it, and it looks terrific -- and safe! Don't take chances. Hire a pro. Hire Willie Bell at IV Power Electric. I have hired him before, and he's upbeat and friendly, in additional to being a true professional. read more

Willie Bell, the owner of IV Power Electric, is super professional and simply a rockstar at his job! I needed exhaust fans installed in both of my bathrooms (the steam created from hot showers were causing too much moisture in my bathrooms) & I found out about Willie via a referral from my amazing plumber (George from AA Twin Bros Plumbing -- also an absolute rockstar in his field!); I know that good people know good people and I trust George, so I decided to give Willie a call. Willie and his team did a stellar job and it was more than what we could have expected! They even installed vents that were of high-quality so that they would not melt in the sun or be affected by rain or any other weather of any kind. He was also honest and said that while he could do the patch job for us, he's not the best at it and it might end up not looking up to par with what we would want (hence the unfinished look to the photos). We have no problem contracting that job out, and really appreciated his honesty! They were also super clean, especially with the amount of work they had to do (we have lathe & plaster walls, super thick and difficult to cut, thus easy in creating a mess!) -- he said they had about three trash bags full of trash by the time they left! Absolutely recommend Willie and his team, he comes with my highest recommendation. Besides -- you honestly can't go wrong with someone who's been in the business since 1982, and has 5 stars on Yelp! I told Willie we will definitely be giving him a call for any future electrician jobs and will definitely be recommending him out to any of our friends who need the same kind of work. Thank you Willie, you rock! read more

I have used Mr. Bell for all my electrical needs. He installed my new living room lights and his work is excellent. He is the best in the business and I spent a ton of timing searching! Absolutely no complaints. No bias here. His prices are reasonable. He is knowledgeable and he does not price gauge. A couple of times, I have gone to other electricians just to price check him. Mr. Bell is the most professional electrician that I have ever dealt with. Knowledgeable, courteous, goes above and beyond, and just so very proud of his craft. I found his business on Yelp and gave him a call. He wasn't able to answer, but his voicemail alone said it all. Clear, concise, and with the promise to get back by text and what to do if the caller is not text friendly (loved the level of thought from the start). My problem was that all the outlets in one of my rooms in my home had stopped working. I checked the circuit breaker, and the standard fix didn't work, and I wasn't able to figure out the problem. I sent Mr. Bell a picture, and he walked me through how to address the issue over the phone. Unheard of!!! He gave me so many electrical pointers and things to be mindful of in my home. During the trouble shooting session, I realized the possible cause and was able to address it. I can't say enough! I will keep him as my go-to person for all of my electrical needs, and I have already passed on his contact info to family and friends.
