Just as I started to worry I was going to be ignored, the employee came up to me, offered assistance, and was a hospitable and enthusiastic soul. I saw two adult candy products in the aforementioned corner- rear east wall- including edible candy g-string. Store seems mostly for children. I Finally got a chance to review one of our favorite spots to do a wine tasting…read more We first came months ago at a suggestion from some friends to go with them. It was a great tasting of a vineyard in California. A month or so later we went to another tasting that also was quite good. Then, last week we went to another with friends. This time we noticed on the email they explained how to park for free(we never knew this, always grabbed street parking). So the hook up in the parking ramp was nice. We walked into the Gourmetphile to a group of happy people ready to try some wines. We grabbed our seats by our friends and got ready. The spokesman for the company had some words, explaining the Gil family vineyard and its different wines. It's located in Spain and is between a couple of the more famous wine valleys there. Then we were off to the wines. They were quite good. What was debatably even better were the dishes that the owner provide for each wine. Different meats, cheeses and jams. Every dish was designed for that specific wine to match with. It's a few dollars for a tasting here, but when you know it almost good wines, and excellent food, it's worth it. We left with a bottles of wine so obviously these were good. And we look forward to the next one.

First of all, the amount of people is limited, making it an almost one on one experience with the person introducing the wines. Allowing us to listen clearly to their information and stories about the wines and wineries and easy to ask questions too. Not only do they know their wines, but they know very well what to pair with them. This was not a random charcuterie plate on the side, they paired each wine with a specific bite/ dish and explained why exactly they chose that an how it would compliment the wine. And, honestly, it all worked harmoniously. At the end of the tasting we were able to buy bottles, and also look at their shop front which has so many delicious cheeses, meats and more, plus, of course, wine to bring home and recreate these tastings experiences at home with your friends, family, or date. Highly recommend coming here, and you will definitely see us checking in again.

Plenty of sample fudges to try, and might be worth the trip if that's your thing. Big location and largely empty. I think they should have started in a smaller place. They have a nice brewed coffee that you can have during the day. The place is very clean and organized. They close at 8:30pm everyday. I like to buy halloumi cheese "grilled cheese" which you'll not find easily. Last time I checked Publix and whole foods, the halloumi cheese coasts about $15 where they sell it here for $4.45! I also like their feta cheese which is also imported. They also have "sucuk" Turkish sausage pronounced as (sujook) which is a tasty beef sausage with great flavor of Turkish spices. I love their chocolate, sodas and all the imported snacks they have..I'm just glad to have this place here.

My mom threw my step-dad a 50th birthday party last night and used In Good Taste as the caterer…read more She was a little nervous about it since it was the first time she was using the, but they turned out to be great! The food was wonderful, she ordered all of the tables and bars from them, and they displayed everything beautifully. I'm an appetizer girl so the cocktail hour was my favorite part of the evening especially the sushi boats, tuna tartare on wonton chips, and crab cakes. There was so much food being passed around that I didn't have a chance to try everything, but thank goodness for leftovers and I really enjoyed the lamb chops for dinner tonight (the evening after the party). For dinner they served prime rib, chicken, and rice. I'm more of a fish gal so this didn't really appeal to me, but everyone else seemed happy and I was pretty full from the cocktail hour. And then there was a dessert....the most amazing chocolate cake ever. My mom had complained earlier in the day that they were charging her $275 for the cake, which she thought was absurd, but this cake looked and tasted like it was worth the money. I was too full for the rest of the pastries (chocolate mousse, tarts, etc), but enjoyed those as leftovers as well. In situations like this it's always to find a few things wrong so there were a few things that I'd recommend watching out for if you use this caterer. My mom had called a few days earlier to tell the caterer she was expecting a few more people than originally planned, but the caterer must have forgotten so they were bringing extra chairs outside as people were sitting down for dinner and didn't have enough silverware prepared. We also noticed that they didn't put any water on the tables and while most people were enjoying their alcohol beverages a glass of water would have been nice as well (especially after all that salty food). They brought plenty of staff, but we probably could have used one more because the bartender had to leave the bar on several occasions to help out with something else. Overall, my mom and the guests were very happy with the caterer so I have a feeling I'll be eating seeing In Good Taste again for future family affairs.

We did not get all the food we were promised, and my party fell short of our expected guests, we were hoping for 60, but got 30, but was promised a bartender. We had no bartender, and was charged for 60 guests which was about 99.00 a head, we could have gone to the Breakers for that amount of money, considering it was hamburgers, hot dogs, fires and some pasta. The cake which looked like the picture was obviously made 3-4 days earlier, very dry, my daughter who loves red velvet cake was very disappointed, we were never offered any leftovers, will rethink another caterer next event. Caterer agreed to refund some money but I have yet to see it. Oh and I was charged twice for tips. Live and learn I guess.
