Chicken Teriyaki
Norm L.

Tried the cheapest all you can eat. The food overall was good, lots of choices, and good value for $35 a person. The only thing I didn't like was their veggie tempura because the batter was too thick and the veggie inside just didn't have the right cook to it. The place was clean and service was friendly and prompt. The o Ly thing to remember if you don't eat all of the food they charge you extra for the plates you can't finish.

Nigiri

We had the all you can eat menu and the nigiri was absolutely amazing. There was a large amount of fish and minimal rice, which made the all you can eat menu worth it. Also, the service was excellent in that the waiter offered to put our ice cream in the freezer so that it would not melt when they saw we had been talking for a while. The ambiance is casual and great for a place to catch up with family or friends. There is even a cardboard cutout of Jennie from Blackpink at the front, which caught our attention.

Love love love their salmon options and yuzu yellowtail for nigiri. Aside from the regular salmon, I also enjoy the cajun salmon and the paprika seared salmon (imo I don't really taste the paprika, but the seared part is yummy). I usually try not to order rolls, but the Red Velvet and Lemon X Salmon were both 7.5/10. My friend's bf liked the salmon teriyaki but unfortunately the chicken karaage and KFC (Korean fried chicken) were mostly batter and kinda hard to finish. For dessert, the ube taiyaki is bomb and I wish the ube ice cream was available to order on its own

Went to Its Sushi (AYCE) after Tahoe trip and had a great experience overall. First of all, they have waitlist system to put your party number and name down. I heard the wait could go up to 1+ hours on a busy day. Luckily, we went at 8:00 pm and got seated at 8:30pm. There are three pricing tiers. We got the most expensive one so we could try Uni. We didn't regret getting the most expensive one but be aware that there are items that you can only get 1 serving per person like Uni and sweet shrimps etc. I think my friends and I all agree that next time we will just do second tier and still be very happy and satisfied. Some nigiri highlights are: 1. Sweet shrimp, big fresh and delicious. 2. Salmon belly, it was seared but really good. Would even be better if it's not seared. 3. Unagi, decent and good charred aroma. 4. Not nigiri but tasty Grilled yellowtail collar, cooked perfectly that's still moist inside. Some items that could be better: 1. Uni was ok, no outstanding flavor nor weird flavor. 2. Ikura was on a lower quality side and it didn't really pop in the mouth. Will def come back next time if the wait isn't long.

My wife was pregnant, so I agreed to not eat sushi until she could eat sushi again. Of course you can have cooked rolls, but it isn't the same. This place still consistently hits. But the real cheat code is going here at lunch time on a weekday. No wait and everything comes out FAST. Service is always fast and friendly. I can't wait for the Delta Shores location to open.

FYI - this place has no affiliation to the one in Vegas! None-the-less it was the same concept and had great selections to chose from. I would stay away from the Monkey Brain and Who's Your Daddy. Both were enormous portion; you can literally get full just from that. Service was great. We came on a Saturday afternoon and did not have to wait long to be seated. If it was not so far, I would definitely go more often.

Craved ayce sushi so stopped by here. Everything was extremely fresh and portion size was perfect. Rice to fish ratio was great with it being minimal rice. Standouts were the garlic tuna and salmon, mayo scallop, salmon belly, and good ole plain tuna and salmon. Tried some seasonal items in the truffle salmon and salmon puff (inari). A little too much truffle for my taste in the truffle salmon tartare but it was good. Salmon puff wasn't super sweet and ratios for everything were great. I'd recommend stopping by this place if you are ever craving quality ayce sushi.

Nigiri

10/10 everything!! All their nigiri is so yummy and fresh, and I love that they have a huge selection. Jaw dropping fish to rice ratio, truly. Our server was also so nice and made sure we got our moneys worth! Bonus points for implementing a rewards program. We will definitely be back, and will also try their sister restaurant in Sac.

I love coming to It's Sushi for the best AYCE Sushi in town! I always make sure to put my party on the waitlist because there's a long wait especially on weekends. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the menu offers delicious specials. There's a wide variety of fish, appetizers and dishes in the different AYCE combos and i really like the rice to fish ratio in the nigiris. The ambiance is lively with lots of seating as well!

Michelle L.

Back again for AYCE Course B for my birthday month celebration with ye olde coworkers group. The nigiris are top-notch, softshell crab, half rolls, hamachi kama, even deep fried unagi and puff salmon inaris. The yuzu and lychee sherbets are refreshing, and they also have green tea ice cream and Melona bar flavors. Their special dessert was an ube ice cream with a mini taiyaki. There is a time limit for each party and there was a bit of a wait. If one of your party members isn't there, the time starts anyway but if you give up your table then you risk a longer wait. I thought ITS SUSHI Delta Shores would be open by now, still patiently waiting for that one.

Hands down one of my favorite AYCE sushi restaurants!! The service is super quick and the nigiri is amazing and great bang for your buck!! The fish taste super refresh and there is an amazing fish to rice ratio which is where I feel like a lot of restaurants aren't with it for. We came during a saturday lunch and it got crowded pretty quickly but there is a decent amount of seating! Definitely coming back here and highly recommend trying it!

This was voted for the best place to dine by Yelp . I went there today for the first time . It was very quiet around 12:45 pm to 1:00 pm and the big crowd started to come in by 2:30 pm and peak at 4:30 pm . Today is Saturday and we expect a lot of people . The place was pleasant and organized but not very big like other buffet restaurants. Great service and the food are excellent. The size of the rice was so tiny like 1/3 of a cotton ball .Thickness of the raw fish was on the thinner side . They were super fresh , delicious and all you can it so it did not matter . The menu has 3 different course to choose from for 3 different prices . Menu was color coordinated. You could order AYCE for the same color of items . We chose the green B course . Some exclusive items were one order per person , that include : grilled hamachi Kama , deep fried soft shelf crab , salmon belly , etc We ordered lots of sushi ( tuna , salmon , yellow tail ) and I got a cucumber salad with vinegar and a regular lettuce salad , miso soup and lychee sherbet. Between the 3 of us . We ate 60 orders ( 2 pc each ) that is 120 pc of sushi ! Our server Chloe is nice , cheerful and she definitely made our dinning experience better . The food came out fast and Chole would ask us what would we like to order next once she put down the dishes . Time limit was 90 minutes . Great price , good food and excellent service . That made my day ! Happy fall ! Everyone!

FOOD: Course A & B - Poke nacho: 4/5 - Miso soup: 4/5 - Bulgogi: 5/5 - Gyoza: 4.5/5 - Tempura shrimp: 4.5/5 - Coconut shrimp tempura: 5/5 - Korean fried chicken: 5/5 - Katsu chicken: 5/5 - Spicy rice cake: 4/5 - Corn cheese: 3/5 - Sexy bomb roll: 4.5/5 - Something wrong #7: 3.5/5 - Lychee sherbet: 4.5/5 SERVICE: Friendly and come by often. 4/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: The food was pretty good. I get why they want the whole table to pick the same course but it was a little awkward when half the table wanted A and the other half wanted B. We went with B but for those who wanted A essentially had to pay more for what they ate. Also, the time is limited to 1.5 hours. I also get that, but it made for a short(ish) dinner for girls night. Also, it was kind of a bummer that they only let use select one dessert option. I wanted mochi and sherbet.

Hi are there reservations available?

Today's mission: find something fast, affordable, and satisfying...and WOW did they deliver. I was craving a solid bibimbap, and this one hit all the right notes. Oh, and it comes with miso soup? Say less. Full, happy, and back to work in no time. Now let's talk sushi... because they're not playing around here. Ever been somewhere that loads up the rice and skimps on the good stuff? Yeah, not here. These rolls are PACKED with filling and just the right amount of rice...finally, the balance we deserve. And if you're feeling indecisive, they've got plates stacked with all the goodies...teriyaki chicken, spicy pork, beef, salmon... basically a choose your own adventure of deliciousness. But the real MVP? That teriyaki sauce. Listen... they sell it in bottles. Do yourself a favor and grab one because there's definitely something magical going on in there. I'm not saying it's addictive... but I'm also not not saying that. So if you're anywhere near Roseville and stuck on the "what should I eat?" struggle....lunch or dinner...just go. Trust me. I, honestly, think the sushi and sashimi are better than Kru. The fish is so tender, buttery, and will melt in your mouth. The appetizers and rolls are SUPER yummy, with good flavor combinations. Unfortunately, my continued patronage has been based more on convenience than quality. The food has always been mediocre at best, and the only reason I occasionally visit is when my young son happens to crave sesame chicken and there are no better alternatives nearby. Beyond that single item, there is very little on the menu that I would consider worthwhile. My most recent experience, however, crossed the line from disappointment into outright frustration. While I was there last week, the staff informed me that they were working on their credit card machine. I was asked to wait while they attempted to fix the issue. After waiting patiently, they eventually asked for my card and attempted to run the transaction. I was then told that the payment had not gone through and that I would need to pay in cash instead. Relying on their representation, I paid in cash and left. The following day, I discovered that my credit card had in fact been charged. I immediately contacted the restaurant and spoke with an employee named Dolce. She was polite and apologetic and explained that the transaction would likely be voided within two to four days. Based on that representation, I waited. We are now on day six, and the charge is still present on my account. When I contacted the restaurant again, another employee told me she could not assist but would reach out to the owner. A short time later I was told that they could do nothing and that the issue was now my problem to resolve with my credit card company. This response is unacceptable. The restaurant processed a charge, told me it did not go through, required me to pay again in cash, and has now refused to take responsibility for correcting the mistake. Charging a customer twice for the same meal and then shifting the burden onto the customer to fix your error is not just poor customer service, it reflects a complete lack of accountability. For a restaurant that already offers mediocre food, this level of customer service makes the situation even worse. I will never return to this location, and I will make sure that none of my family members or friends support this business either. Customers deserve honesty, accountability, and basic respect. Based on my experience, this establishment offers none of the above. I strongly advise others to avoid this location unless they are comfortable risking being charged twice and then told it is not the restaurant's problem to fix.
