4.5 STARS its sushi is very popular, so the wait can be long during peak times - around 90 minutes to 2 hours. there are three options for ayce, with different dishes included in each option. my boyfriend and i like course B because we think it's the best value, and it includes all of the nigiri, which is mostly what we like to order. we don't think course C includes enough additional items to be worth the increase in price. service is friendly, and we're always checked on often! they offered a wide selection of appetizers and hot dishes. the seafood dynamite included baby scallops and mushrooms in a mayo and sweet eel sauce mixture. i thought it was a little too heavy and wish it included other seafood besides scallops. the tako wasabi was one of the best versions of this dish i've tried, and i'm usually not a huge fan of this dish! the wasabi wasn't too strong, and the sesame seeds added such a nice flavor and texture. the sesame flavor complemented the wasabi and made it easier to eat. the monkey brain was a fried crab mix and mushrooms with spicy mayo and eel sauce. the portion was pretty big, so it was filling and heavy. the baked green mussels were very yummy! the white sauce gave it a creaminess and sweetness, and it came out super hot. the yellowtail collar was very juicy! it came with a slightly sweet soy-based sauce, and it was overall a light app. the spicy garlic edamame had a great garlicky flavor with a small kick. i liked that it came out hot, and it was a good portion! the sauce pooled at the bottom, and it was very oily, although the edamame at the bottom also had more flavor. i enjoyed the coconut flakes in the batter for the coconut shrimp tempura, which provided most of the flavor. the sauce was the same as the one served with the soft shell crab. the corn cheese was slightly sweet and cheesy, which i liked. the cheese was a little too liquidy but otherwise solid. the quality of the soft shell crab varied between different visits. i wasn't a fan of the chewy shell when it came out lukewarm, but when it came out fresh and hot, the texture was much better - crunchy and easy to eat. overall, it was seasoned well, and the lemon added freshness. the sauce was very light and thin, so i couldn't place the exact flavor. there were lots of options for sushi rolls, and they allowed half-size rolls, except for baked or 6-pc rolls. the lemon x salmon roll was one of my favorites! the lemon was thinly sliced, and the salmon was soft. it was very fresh and light. the washington roll was similar to the lemon x salmon roll in terms of brightness from the ponzu. the salmon was so soft, and there was salmon on top and inside of the roll, which i loved. it was also one of my favorite rolls, maybe more so than the lemon x salmon. the sauce on the henry roll was a little too much for me, but the lemon helped cut through it a bit. it had the typical combo of spicy mayo and eel sauce. the shrimp tempura was so crunchy! the sexy bomb roll was a regular shrimp tempura roll topped with salmon, spicy mayo, and eel sauce, but with the addition of cream cheese. again, the shrimp was crunchy, but the cream cheese was too overwhelming for me. the flavor was otherwise standard. the something wrong roll included shrimp tempura and spicy seafood mixes, including spicy soft shell crab, spicy tuna, and spicy crab mix, topped with more seafood. i liked the idea of the roll, but together, the spicy and tangy flavors were overwhelming. since it had so many components, it was also very filling! the nigiri was as good as ayce nigiri gets! we tried the tuna, garlic tuna, cajun tuna, super white tuna, salmon, xxx salmon, cajun salmon, smoked salmon, garlic salmon, salmon belly, paprika seared salmon, yuzu yellowtail, squid, spicy octopus, freshwater eel, and mayo scallop. the fish was soft and didn't taste too fishy. the fish to rice ratio was great! there was a tiny amount of rice for each nigiri, so we didn't get full on just rice. i wasn't a fan of the xxx nigiri, which came with a dollop of spicy sauce and thickly sliced jalapeno on top. i liked the seared flavor of the cajun tuna and cajun salmon, and all of the regular fish were good too. for ~$40 per person, the menu is very extensive, and we feel like it's really worth it! they offer a wide variety of appetizers and lots of great options for nigiri and rolls. we also appreciate the portion size of the dishes, which allows us to try more menu items. although a lot of the menu is tasty, the nigiri makes the price worth it alone, and we will definitely come back to its sushi whenever we're in the area! read more

Heard so many great reviews about this place so I had to try it out. I came with a friend on a weekday night and didn't have to wait for a table. We got the second tier for the nigiri and were not disappointed! The tuna, salmon, and yellowtail were very fresh and soft. We also tried the super white tuna which was so buttery and soft. Also, I loved how they didn't give too much rice with each piece of nigiri. We only tried a few of the rolls (Henry, XYZ, Sara) which were delicious as well. It was not bad for ayce sushi in Roseville. Some nigiri did feel fishy/slimy but mostly was fine. The rice is normal rice (not sushi rice). They do give more fish than the rice so it felt more proportional and not oversized. Some of the rice did feel more on dense side though. There were a lot of options and the servers frequently came by our table. It was the first time we were asked for our 3rd round before the 2nd round even came in one thing that was surprising was that some of the rolls were quite large and thin (not pictured). Aside from the regular salmon, I also enjoy the cajun salmon and the paprika seared salmon (imo I don't really taste the paprika, but the seared part is yummy). Went to Its Sushi (AYCE) after Tahoe trip and had a great experience overall. First of all, they have waitlist system to put your party number and name down. I heard the wait could go up to 1+ hours on a busy day. Luckily, we went at 8:00 pm and got seated at 8:30pm. There are three pricing tiers. We got the most expensive one so we could try Uni. We didn't regret getting the most expensive one but be aware that there are items that you can only get 1 serving per person like Uni and sweet shrimps etc. I think my friends and I all agree that next time we will just do second tier and still be very happy and satisfied. Some nigiri highlights are: 1. Sweet shrimp, big fresh and delicious. 2. Salmon belly, it was seared but really good. Would even be better if it's not seared. 3. Unagi, decent and good charred aroma. 4. Not nigiri but tasty Grilled yellowtail collar, cooked perfectly that's still moist inside. Some items that could be better: 1. It was my boyfriend and I's anniversary and we were saving up all week for great sushi. We love Pier 50 and an It's Sushi actually opened up closer to us in Delta Shores (they're all owned by Fukumi Restaurants I believe). I will say that our experience in the It's Sushi in Roseville was by far the best! Serena was our waitress and she was super kind and attentive. She recommended the salmon belly nigiri and we absolutely loved it. We got Course C to celebrate and the absolute highlight was the white tuna carpaccio! While this location is certainly smaller than the other two above mentioned, they have a great staff and wait time. You can tell they care about cleanliness and quality. We never had a dirty table even as the dishes piled up from us constantly ordering - a staff member would pick up immediately. Amazing work Serena and Team! I've been hearing good things about Its Sushi and got a chance to try it for lunch on Saturday. Luckily, we got a parking spot in front and there was no wait for a table. This was our first time dining here and there were a lot of good and a few things that were mixed. They let us order 2 different types of buffet, A & B. I got the B, which was $39.95 and included nigiri and some of the daily specials - shiroi salmon, puff salmon, and salmon kama. For the nigiri, I ordered all salmon and yellowtail and they were really good - salmon belly, garlic salmon, salmon, yellowtail, and yuzu yellowtail. You can only get 1 order of salmon belly, but no limit on the rest. The soft shell crab and poke salmon were both good. Oddly, the spicy garlic edamame was extremely good and one of the best choices! From buffet A, we got half of the shrimp lover roll, half of the rainbow roll, bulgogi, salmon teriyaki, katsu chicken, mini udon, fried rice, and cheese corn. He enjoyed all of it. We both liked the salmon avocado handroll. I didn't really care for the puff salmon...it wasn't what I expected. The salmon kama was below - part of it was dry, but the other half was okay. The miso soup was light and didn't have strong miso flavor. The seafood dynamite was alright - mini scallops and mushrooms. For dessert, we had ice cream and sesame balls. The sesame balls were steaming hot and good. I loved the lychee ice cream. It was so refreshing! Our waitress (Chloe) was one of the nicest, sweetest waitresses ever. My favorite got to be the Cajun salmon nigiri, which is salmon nigiri marinated in cajun sauce and lightly seared topped with fried onions. Another favorite is the salmon belly, which they limit the orders to per person, along with their Paprika seared salmon nigiri, which is like similar to the cajun salmon but with paprika and topped with green onions. The nigiris are top-notch, softshell crab, half rolls, hamachi kama, even deep fried unagi and puff salmon inaris. The yuzu and lychee sherbets are refreshing, and they also have green tea ice cream and Melona bar flavors. Their special dessert was an ube ice cream with a mini taiyaki. There is a time limit for each party and there was a bit of a wait. If one of your party members isn't there, the time starts anyway but if you give up your table then you risk a longer wait. This was my second time at this establishment and it always gets better and better. We came at lunch and it was not too busy. As soon as we sat we were greeted and given ice waters, which was amazing because it was such a hot day. Our server was very knowledgeable and explained the menu with the different dining options available because at first glance it can be confusing for some people. You can tell the chefs give their 100% because all our sushi pieces came out perfect. We played a little competition between our friends to see who can eat the most and myself and 4 other friends ate around 300 pieces. Me and my mom walked in and the person told us to scan the barcode so we can put our self on the waitlist and there was a couple right behind us, but my phone did not work at first and the couple that came behind us were seated before us and a smart girl that was serving she said she will take us without having to deal with the website she sent us and then the waiter that came explained a couple things, but wasn't really that much friendly and he was telling us about the limitations. How come it's all you can eat, but there's a lot of limitation that means it's not all you can eat!!!!!!' For $50 a person this place is not worth it at all. They have a lot of limitation on the food, especially the reason I paid the $50 is to eat as much Galbi I want but the only allow one per person. The food takes so long to get and the I did not like the fried rice and the food was not that good. Even though we ordered everything all at once, the food does not come at once and it takes a long time. I ordered a tree I get chicken and I waited so long and when it came out, it wasn't even cooked all the way I can see it still white and it's not fully cooked. It's supposed to be grilled chicken where I can see the grill marks, but it wasn't grilled I did not see a lot of grill marks so it was white and it's not grilled completely. Also, the dessert it's only one per person. Why is it all you can eat but there's a lot of limitation what's the point of that. And the place was packed and it was hot. We were sweating inside. It's sushi is the best sushi in the area, hands down! It gets busy, but worth thw wait. The service is exceptional and the waiters are attentive. They also recommend items to try if you ask. For me, course B has everything I like. The paprika salmon, the salmon belly nigiri, and the salmon skin hand roll (extra crispy) are my favorite. Great all you can eat sushi! The rice ratio is really good--lots of sashimi fish and just a small ball of rice. Nice! The quality of the fish is also top notch. They serve squid, which I rarely find at other all you can eat sushi places! Plus they slice slots into the top of the squid so that it is easier to chew. Talk about chef cutting skills! The service is good, kind of depends on time of day. Sometimes you get a waiter who is super on top of things and keeps the food coming. Sometimes you get a waiter who disappears, meaning you finish eating all your food and have to wait a long time to get to order another round (even if you try to order ahead before finishing your existing sushi !). Still, overall the staff are friendly and nice. Ambiance is pretty good, tables and chairs are clean. Well air conditioned, which is important in the Sacramanto summer heat. Whenever I stop by the galleria to do some shopping or play games at Round 1, I make it my mission to grab dinner at It's Sushi right after! It's Sushi is one of those places where if someone were to ask me what I wanted to eat, I'd immediately think of it. It's a perfect date spot and for hanging out with friends! When you arrive, you will always see some people hanging outside and a full waiting area. It's recommended that you put yourself on the waitlist because simply walking in would make it impossible to get a seat. The restaurant is on the smaller side but is always packed to the brim, but the wait is so worth it. The most I've waited to be seated was around 30-40 minutes, but it's not long if you have someone to talk to. Once you receive your alert that your table is ready, the staff will seat you and provide menus. The staff is always super friendly and will ask if you've been there before. As an experienced It's Sushi customer, I already know which option to pick and what fish choices I want already. I opt for option B, which gives you access to the nigiri section. I'm all about getting my money's worth, so I order the most food I can per round. You can place 10 orders of nigiri at a time, and each order is 2 pieces. I also like to start with a miso soup and a grilled yellowtail collar as it's really tender and juicy. For nigiri, I'm a fan of the regular and garlic salmon, regular and yuzu yellowtail, super white tuna, and regular tuna. The fish quality is absolutely amazing, and it's consistent every time I order it. The size of the rice is superb, it's so small and it doesn't fill you up like how other restaurants would make it, so it's a nice touch. As for the service, the staff check in with you frequently and ask if you would like to place another order when it seems like you're running low on food. They are also open to any questions you may have and are very knowledgeable of the menu. When it comes to the waiting time between orders, depending if it's busy or not, it could be 15-20 minutes. It's Sushi offers delicious AYCE sushi for a great price and it does not disappoint. The quality of the food and the fantastic customer service they offer makes it a wonderful place to come back to. I love this all you can eat sushi place. They have three price tiers and you get to choose which you want. They start at $34 and go up from there. The options are wonderful. They have classics like hand rolls and baked sushi and then they have original options for more adventurous eaters. Options for everyone.
