It has been awhile since my initial review. We came in during their happy hour. They have expanded the hours for it from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm (daily). We ordered the OMG and rainbow roll. Both were standard. We also had the veggie tempura, which I enjoyed but wished there was grated daikon with it. My husband and I discovered BF Miyabi Sushi a few months ago and completely fell in love with it. It has quickly become one of our favorite sushi spots. We always start with the sushi tacos, and they are an absolute must try. My personal favorite roll is the Douglas, but my husband and I have also tried several others including the Black Dragon, Honey, and Sunset rolls. Every single roll we have had has been delicious and has not disappointed. They have also recently updated their menu with some new rolls, which makes us even more excited to keep coming back and trying more. The restaurant is always clean, the service is consistently excellent, and overall it is just a great place to eat. We absolutely love dining here and highly recommend giving it a try! read more

Rolls are incredibly delicious here! Quite humongous rolls too, so prices were understandable to go along with them. Personally though, a bit on the pricey side although their sushi IS delicious - just not worth the price tag for my taste. Parking is quite limited in the shared parking plaza so get here early. Nice seating arrangements inside with warm ambience and classy decor. Great sushi rolls here and sushi rice was yummy! Our favorites were Uni nigiri, sushi tacos, and the Lion King. Likely won't be back here thanks to the distance and other preferred spots closer to home, but I think this is a wonderful sushi joint for closer local patrons. Service was friendly, fast, and fantastic! I ordered the Chicken Katsu and was pleasantly surprised with how large the portion was. My plate came with soup, rice and a salad. There was a lot of chicken. We ordered a variety of rolls to share. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. The restaurant is more spacious inside than it appears from the outside, and I love the wall mural I didn't get a picture. This is one of my son's favorite spots to get sushi and he said they also have happy hour specials. We all enjoyed the food, the rolls were large enough to share. We came here before 9pm with a party of 11 on a Saturday night. They set up the table quickly for us and were able to split our bill 3 ways. The service here was amazing and our server was very attentive and accommodating to our specific needs. The seafood was top tier, so delicious!! Especially the Sake torro. The restaurant seemed family owned and if not the workers seem to enjoy working together. The chicken teriyaki was served as a really big portion for $15 which was also tasty but probably too big for the kids who ordered them. It can certainly be split into two for kids to share. We've been to BF Miyabi and loved it. We went back and loved it again. It is a great restaurant serving quality food. We were there on a Friday evening and were seated right away. There were several tables, booths, and a semi private back room. The menu had your typical Japanese food items, such as ramen, sushi rolls, bento boxes, and plates. There are also special dishes and rolls on a seasonal menu. We ordered a couple of rolls and a ramen. The ramen was great for our kids to share. The brother wasn't too salty and the chasu pieces were thick. The rolls were perfect for the adults to share. They were big and tasted fresh. Staff were attentive and polite. BF Miyabi never disappoints! We ordered two Diet Cokes, the spicy edamame, and three rolls the Hollywood, Double Hamachi, and BF Special Roll and everything was absolutely delicious. The presentation was top tier, and the sushi chefs are always so funny, kind, and make the whole dining experience even better. The service is amazing every time, and they even turned on Sunday Night Football for us when we asked! From the food to the atmosphere, this place really goes above and beyond. Stopped by BF Miyabi on a Friday night for a late night meal. It was a cold night so I started off with the Miso Soup. The soup was savory and hot which was great for the cold weather. I tried two sushi rolls: Black Dragon and Double Toro. If you like spicy food I would recommend the two rolls. The spice on the Black Dragon was more tolerable than the spice on the Double Toro. We ordered a couple sushi, one rice entree and one ramen. -started with the standard garlic edamame. Probably our least favorite dish. Too oily, and not garlic flavored enough. Didn't finish it. -Sushi, good but some are on the pricey side in my opinion. Specially the double toro priced at $20. Also ordered the Tamale $12, sauce was spicy and will ordered this again. Finally we added Creamy Maguro $16. This was okay. -Ramen, was a good portion. I was expecting a bit more options in ramen choices since we searched for Ramen places. I guess having one ramen in your menu constitutes as being a ramen place. Only one choice at $15. Broth was okay, could use a bit more depth in flavor. The noodles did not taste fresh. In fact they were sticking to each other like they came from the refrigerator straight to the pot. -Teriyaki Rice plate $15, nephew loved it. The portion was huge. Chicken was tender and nicely cooked. Overall, experience was good. Service was great. Payment was done at the table. We tipped 20% in case anyone was wondering. Ambiance was nice and clean. Dinner for 3 Sunday night with no wait. We ordered the sunset, holiday, Sacramento, and one other roll I don't remember. The holiday roll was a complete standout! It had a nice balance of sweet, savory, and crunch from the fried onions. My favorite roll there. We ate it so fast, I didn't get a photo in. This is definitely a secret gem in Roseville! I wouldn't have expected a sushi restaurant with such great quality fish/rice portion to be hidden in the heart of Roseville. I highly recommend going and trying out their rolls, especially the Hamachi Toro and Salmon Toro Nigiri. The calamari was delicious and very light - not greasy at all. On top of that, their sushi rolls and the sushi tacos are yummy. It was quick service and greeted right away upon entering the restaurant by the staff upfront. The ambiance is nice and fairly quiet, I noticed more takeout orders than dine in but I suggest dining in for the more enjoyable atmosphere than eating out of a takeout box hahaha but there's nothing wrong with that. read more

The sushi did not wow or amaze me, however, I still felt that it was good and the fish was fresh enough. I wish the lion king was actually baked and not toasted. This establishment is outstanding! We started with the crispy calamari, so fresh and the panko style breading was superb. The sauce with it was also very flavorful! Next I picked the chicken katsu, and the plate was huge! So much tender chicken, with a huge scoop of rice, a starter of soup, and a perfectly dressed salad. The sauce was flavorful as well. My hubby got the baked scallops and he loved them! He also got American dream roll, and it tasted very fresh. Everything was clearly made with love, we heard laughter from the kitchen, and everyone was walking around smiling. Probably from Mexico. You can tell just by looking at it. The Toro wasn't impressive either. It's surprising they got toro on a Tuesday. Not sure who can afford Toro at $22. She has a bad attitude , ALWAYS. She does not cater to her guest.. everything seems to be an inconvenience for her. First and foremost, BF Miyabi was not my first pick for our family sushi dinner but second runner up isn't so bad right?? With the drive to the initial location being quite far & then a long wait time guaranteed at arrival, it was a must to dine elsewhere. We arrived to a pretty bare restaurant, three separate parties were currently dining, and there was no one at the front to greet us or give directions. We stand around while the sushi chefs behind the bar simple stare. Needless to say, we got off on a rocky start and although leaving crossed my mind, we were already running behind on my toddler's dinner schedule. Our party is eventually seated and provided menus. The offerings provided are listed front & back on a laminated sheet but there are 3 additional signs behind the sushi bar with specials. The typical variety of sushi rolls, noodles, bento styled meals, and yakitori [grilled bite sized meats] is what you will find. Dinner for us involved: * Edamame * Deluxe Sushi Combo [8pc Sashimi, 4pc Nigiri, Spider Roll] * California Roll * Lamb Chop Entree [includes salad, soup, rice] * Chicken Gizzards Yakitori x2 * Chicken Skins Yakitori x2 * Soda * Hot Green Tea x2 Food: Edamame was stingy in size and didn't taste any different from the frozen stuff you can buy at the Asian supermarket. The deluxe sushi combo was okay- undoubtedly filling but tasted really repetitive. For this to be chef's choice/pick, I anticipated for there to be at least one higher end item such as uni or even scallop. CA roll was good, my daughter enjoyed her personal roll. Lamb chops entree was the BEST thing we ate!! Marinade was delicious, cooked well, & lamb tasted clean and not overwhelmingly gamey. The salad and rice included was okay but the miso was so watered down. Chicken gizzards were dry, over cooked, and didn't taste clean. The pieces were tough to eat and left a strange aftertaste after each bite- STEER CLEAR FROM THIS!! Chicken skins were really good. 2 stars at best but bumped it to 3 thanks to that delicious lamb!! While I do agree with other yelpers that the customer service here is good, there were just too many hiccups and the checking in with our table was downright OVERKILL. They didn't come with items or food when we needed them but the staff sure interrupted our meal throughout the entire dining sesh. Items we're consistently forgotten by staff, including the miso soup and soda. With the lack of patrons, delivery of items in a timely manner didn't match up.
