Ms Black has attempted to extort and ruin many lives in retaliation for negative reviews of her business. Families have had the department of child services called on them over bogus reports of abuse, as one reviewer noted, Ms Black called the department of education to make a complaint about a customer (who also left a yelp review and desribed her experience which was published in the local newspaper) who also happened to be a local elementary school teacher. All of these complaints were bogus and the respective authorities intervened.

If I could give this place zero stars - I would!…read more I brought a dress here to be hemmed for a black tie wedding. She seemed nice at first but then did some Jekyll and Hyde thing. After dropping my dress off and her taking her measurements to alter, I followed up with her a couple weeks later. She told me to stop bothering her, why did I keep calling, was I getting married?, etc. I was just nervous because the event that I needed the dress for was in a few days and the dress still wasn't done. At one point, she told me to stop by to try it on after hemming and she wasn't even there when I arrived! I called her to ask where she was and she told me she had jury duty. Um, don't you know about that in advance? I was seriously contemplating suing her if she charged me anything more than what was told to me. The dress itself cost me $250 and it cost me almost as much to alter it. Ridiculous but the first place I went to didn't want to even touch it because it was too much work. When I walked out of there with my dress, it was the best day of my life because it meant I would never have to see her again!
