I was looking desperately for a tailor to do a patch replacement super last minute on my son's dress blue Air Force uniform before a formal. I read some reviews on here after looking up local alterations. I called at 2pm on a Friday to find out if this was a possibility and spoke to Anna. She could not have been more pleasant and told me to come right down. Brought the coat and shirt at 4 and she had finished by 5. Anna could not have been more helpful and pleasan! she did a great job to boot and it was more than fairly priced. Highly recommend! read more

I dropped in to have a patch put on a vest, and the woman put it on in less than 5 minutes, and I was very happy with what she charged me.

Just had a dress altered for my daughter's wedding next week. Alterations are beautiful but I received the dress with a large stain on the left back and chalk marks along the side. I pointed it out before I even tried it on. They blamed my "lotion". I do not wear lotion. Then they blamed my deodorant and pulling the dress over my head. This is a floor length dress that you step into. They offered to clean it. But then proceeded to tell me how much it would cost to clean it and stating "I don't look at the whole dress when you bring it to me". I tried it on to have her pin the dress when I came in. This would have been noticed right away!! Sad way to do business. Raising her voice as if that makes what she is saying truth with other customers present. Totally ignorant. read more

Had to get my sons pants hemmed last minute on a Saturday as he was starting work on Monday. I came through the door at 2:50 right before they closed. The ladies were terrific. Took the measurements and hemmed for me right on the spot to be sure he was ready for his 1st day. Being he is 17 and he was anxious about his very first job they helped ease his anxiety as he knew he would have his uniform ready!! Great customer service! read more

So I just want to say if they had less than a one this business would have received one . My daughter dropped a dress they had it for over a week and finally finished it two days before the wedding it took her that long to alter it. When I picked it up the side was a mess it was all puckered when I complained she then wanted to cut dress while She was standing there at that point She just wanted the dress back And didn't want her to damage it anymore and she wanted her money didn't care she ruined the dress .. would not recommend .took the dress too be fixed it is now going to cost $100 on top of $40 paid to her to get fixed they said she made such a mess of the dress read more

i needed a jumpsuit pressed for a wedding. the lady who pressed my jump suit noticed the collar elastic was twisted and pointed it out to me. i ask her if she could fix it and she said yes. i left it there and came back in a few days. ana, i think that was her name, was so kind, friendly, and did an excellent job. i highly recomment this place and will be my tailor from now on!!! can't say enough about this place and ana!!! read more

She is absolutely phenomenal! I brought a half finished wedding gown to her with only 2 weeks till my wedding and she finished it with 2 days to spare and it was absolutely beautiful! I'm giving two stars, ONLY because the owner could be a great seamstress; but I wouldn't know. Earlier in the day I called to find out the hours of operation, and the girl who answered told me that they close at 4pm. I headed out, and got there a little before 3pm to drop off a dress to be hemmed. The dress was only one layer, and not complicated at all. A girl no older than 21 greeted me at the front ( who also answered the phone earlier in the day ). She proceeds to inform me that the seamstress leaves an hour earlier on Saturdays. Wouldn't that have been nice to know when I called earlier??? So I asked the young girl if she could simply mark up the dress where I'd like it to be hemmed, and she told me that she doesn't do that, and I'd have to come back on Monday. Then she just says, "sorry." Yeah I was sorry that I wasted my time as well. I decided to travel 21 minutes to Mansfield instead of waiting until Monday, and boy am I glad I did! The lady was open during the hours she said she would be, ready, and so much more pleasant. My dress will be ready by Thursday. I am unsure if I'll every try Envy again. :-\ At the very least hire/train someone who can do a hem mark up if you aren't there during normal business hours. read more

I brought 4 pants to get hemmed. They were very friendly, hemmed my pants the same day within 2 hours, did a great job, and it was very reasonably priced. If I could give zero stars I would. Dropped two pair of pants off to have altered. Dropped them off on Thursday morning. Was told to come back on Saturday (for a 1hr tailor). Came back on Saturday at agreed upon time. Pants were not done. Was told to come back another day. Explained that I could not. They asked if I vould come bsck later that day. I explaimd no Im at work and they will be closed by the time I get out of work. The woman actually said if I pay now they will do them and leave them outside after they close so I can pick them up when I get out of work. Yes!!! They seriously were gonna leave my clothes outside!!! I asked for my clothes back and told the woman that first of all its a 1 hr tailor and I was asked to wait days. Then u want to actually leave a customers clothes outside!! I will NEVER return to this place again and will blast all over every social media platform I can about this place. read more

After two negative experiences here I'm not going back. First time was a hem I had done on some dress pants and had asked them to be pressed as well. Picked up the pants and didn't realize until I got home that the pants were wrinkled and not pressed. It's frustrating when I had specifically asked for it because I needed these pants for a function the day of pick up. Second experience was for a hem and press for a pair of dress pants and a dry clean and press for a button up shirt which I was told would not be dry cleaned but laundered. Pants came back hemmed and pressed however the shirt was very wrinkled and because it was starched the wrinkles will not come out when i attempted to iron The shirt is currently in the washing machine so hopefully I can iron it before going to a wedding today. Also, no credit/debit cards accepted. Constant failure to meet reasonable customer expectations will result in declined business. read more

Terrific experience today. Brought in a pair of dress pants with a rip in the pocket. I needed them for the coming work week. Not only did they promise to fix them the same day, but they said if I wait around they would fix it right then and there. 10 minutes later the pocket was fixed like new. I brought in a semi formal dress to be hemmed and taken in for a wedding I was attending. After the woman pinned me do the correct size she told me it would be $75 just to take in the dress and the hem another $45. Prices are outrageous. I only had 9 days until the wedding so I agreed on the alterations but left out the hem ( I'll buy taller shoes). When I went to pick up my dress suddenly jewels were falling off the piece and the zipper they replaced was huge and bulky, totally looks out of place on a very elegant flowy dress. Worst of all it's been over a week and they still haven't cashed my check! Will never go to Envy again, I'll have better luck literally anywhere else. read more

Gave it 3 stars because the pricing for what I dropped off wasn't bad. However, when I picked up my clothes I noticed purple fuzzy things on my shirts. I asked the lady what it was and she said nothing to me and attempted to hang pick the fuzzy purple things off my shirts. I honestly was like you know what we will be here all day doing this. I even said I will uses lint brush. She asked one of the other ladies what the fuzzy purple stuff was and she Was like "oh, maybe I put something next to it." At this time what they should of said was leave it here with us we will take care of, but they didn't. Annoyed I grabbed my items and left. Won't be going back there even if they have the no fuzzy special. read more

I have had a few jackets and several pants altered by Envy Tailors. The prices are a little high however, the jobs are usually neat, clean and fast. Last year I had the sleeves altered on a jacket that I wear infrequently. The other day I noticed a seem on the side of the jacket had opened in the same spot that was used to gain access to the liner during the alteration. I brought the jacket back to the shop and the owner told me the seem issue was my fault and wanted to charge me $18.00 to close the 3 inch opening. I pointed out the thread remnants that were used to closed the opening after the initial alteration. I felt they were rude and condescending when I asked them to stand behind there work. With the exception of the seem opening on a past alteration, The workmanship is generally good and fast. As a repeat customer I expected better customer service. read more

Dry cleaning service is good, no complaints. I've gone in a number of times to get various pieces of clothing altered and the seamstress always has some reason she can't do it. I've never had any issues getting things hemmed, altered, etc anywhere else. She also does not take criticism well if you have an issue with her work. Beware. read more

I brought my pants in to be hemmed. I didn't need them until the next day which I thought was Ok since they are a 1 hour tailor. The woman did not make attempts to show me how irritated she was that I asked for a quick turn around time. I wore the pants 3 times and the hem fell apart. I'm short so every pair of pants I own need to be hemmed and I've never had them fall apart. Disappointing all around. read more

This happened to me last year--I went there for many years and was always happy with the customer service. Unfortunately, I had an issue with my bank and had to transfer all the money to another account as there was a potential breach of security on my account.I had written a small check--less than $15, to Envy and it bounced. They charged me a $50 bounce check fee in addition to paying what was owed. When I tried to address it with them, they referred me to the sign posted. No one would help me, and worse yet--no one seemed to care that they were losing a good customer!! I don't even know if they could legally do that--maybe I should reach out to the Better Business Bureau also! Anyway, I found another dry cleaner in Raynham----they are awesome, and they take debit/credit cards!! Envy will never see me again! read more
