I scheduled a month ago for my nieces party. Two sisters for hair and makeup and 11:00. One would…read morebe getting hair while the other makeup and then switch. I text Liz to ask if they can add my sister at 10:00 for hair and makeup and she confirmed yes. I have all the proof on my text. Then a few days before I asked if they could do my hair at 9:30 no makeup and they were nice enough to accommodate me (or so I thought) fast forward to day of our big event. Yes I was running late and they moved it down that was my fault. But when my sister got there at 10:00 they started asking for one of my nieces saying one of them was suppose to be at 10:15. My sister called me on speaker and Liz was very rude and unprofessional. She totally made my sister feel so uncomfortable on a very important day for her and her daughters. It made me so upset that the start of their big day was ruined by how rude they were being treated and how Liz was yelling at me on the phone. I sent screenshots to my sister so she can show them proof of all our conversations. Liz dismissed it still blaming me. I told my sister here is the text she sent me with prices because I have a feeling she's going to try to charge you more. Sure enough my sister said she tried to charge her more. Upon seeing my nieces to get them in their quinceñera dress I could not believe the makeup that was done on them. I could have done a better job. They slapped sloppy glitter on top of their eyelids and put on cheap eyelashes. Their makeup looked lfar from special and the girls were so disappointed they almost cried. This "beauty bar" is not for a special occasion! Avoid at all cost. You will be disappointed. The makeup artist is nicer than Liz that's for sure but does not do quality work. Pay more for makeup because a cheap price comes with cheap makeup and hair . Update! The business intended to clarify but they are wrong. The attitude of Liz ruined what was suppose to be a special moment for my sister and nieces! There was no need to be rude and yell at me on the phone!

Tiffany, Cece, and May were assigned to my wedding day, and they were absolutely amazing. They were punctual, friendly, attentive, and incredibly experienced and talented in both hair and makeup. They worked so efficiently and finished all the services right on time. My bridal party and I were truly amazed by how wonderful this team was! Grace was also incredibly professional throughout the entire planning process. She handled all the communication, scheduling, and logistics so smoothly. She is such a great leader and managed her team exceptionally well, which made the entire experience feel organized and stress-free. I just received my wedding photos, and seeing how beautiful I looked brought back all the wonderful memories from that day. I had a big wedding party (2 moms, 8 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl) - Cynthia and her team executed all of their hair/makeup so beautifully! Her team listened to all the girls of what their style and inspiration was and I kept getting asked from guests of how did I manage to get the most beautiful bridal party. As for me, I had a makeup trial (which I high recommend) and it allowed me to see what I thought I wanted but didn't like. Cynthia listened to my feedback, provided advice and the day of, she really bought my vision to life. Cynthia and her team really made me feel at ease and I had the most calm wedding morning anyone can ask for! She checked in on me throughout the time to make sure I was doing fine. I was so impressed with her team's punctuality!! They finished ahead of schedule and that allowed me to have down time before the wedding really kicked off. I cannot recommend Cynthia and her team enough! They are amazing and their work truly speaks for it!!

Our shared bride, Caitie, as well as all her bridesmaids, looked absolutely stunning! I've worked many weddings but was very taken aback at how glowy and seamless all of their hair and makeup was at this event. Normally after standing in the sun and dancing, the wedding party begins to look a bit weathered with natural wear and tear on the overall look, especially with eye shadow smearing, etc. Cynthia and her team, on the other hand, did FANTASTIC work, with everyone looking flawless until the very end of the night! Her and her team have such a beautiful talent of accentuating each woman's natural beauty and features while still keeping everthing natural, but elevated. The blush, the highlight, and more specifically the EYES were all just perfect throughout the entire day. I wish I'd known about this team before my own wedding in 2024, and I will absolutely be referring her to all our future clients.

Nicole was very sweet and I showed her a few pictures of inspiration. I liked that she listened to what I wanted, I had mentioned that my hair tends to frizz when I have curls so I'm glad she was able to tame my hair so it didn't at the end. Nicole is very talented and she made the experience so relaxing, and it seemed so easy to make my hair so beautiful.

I don't usually wear makeup on day to day basis, so I was looking for someone that could achieve a natural, glowy, k-beauty type look for my wedding. When I saw Kahn's portfolio, I knew she was the one! I booked her first a HMU trial a few months before the big day- I absolutely loved my makeup at the trial but decided I want to go for a different hairstyle after taking some time to think about it. On the day of the wedding, I was honestly a little nervous because I didn't get the chance to try out the new hairstyle, but Kahn understood my vision and delivered exactly what I had asked for (which looked even better than I could've imagined). I truly have never felt so beautiful than on my wedding day, and it's all thanks to her! My only slight qualm with the service as a whole (and not Kahn's fault at all) was that there was a last-minute scheduling conflict and Kahn was unable to stay to do hair and makeup for the rest of the bridal party. However, the agency provided us with an additional HMU artist and offered to have Kahn come back during cocktail hour to do a free touch-up. I appreciate that they offered this concession, because it was great to have her touch up my makeup after shedding some tears at the ceremony. Kahn even offered to touch up the groom, and helped me with my outfit change during that time. The two additional makeup artists (Nikki and Madison) were also great- my mom was extremely happy with her makeup and said it was the best makeup service she's ever received. Overall, working with Kelly Zhang Agency was a smooth process from start to finish and I would 100% choose them again if I had to do it all over.

I was super important for me to work with HMUA who are familiar with Asian features. The studio and Caroline (the account coordinator) was very communicative and clear. I had a few changes in my HMUA. I booked Kelly a few months prior to my wedding and decided to have a HMUA stay longer to assist with touchups. Overall, communication was great and there were no hiccups. As for the service itself, I was nervous for HMUA because I don't wear too much make up and my trial with Kelly the day before my wedding at her studio in Pasadena. At the beginning, Kelly and I chatted about my skin and what I was looking for. I shared some inspo pics and she quickly grasped the ideas of what I was looking for. Kelly is not just a HMUA, but truly cares about those she works with. During my trial, she would checked in with me during the process - asking me if I was comfortable while working on my eyes. Furthermore, I had shared with her that my press-on nails were stressing me out (they kept popping off!) and Kelly immediately called her nail lady to see if she could squeeze me in for an appointment. Within 10 minutes, I was at the nail salon getting my nails done! The day of, Kelly and her team arrived earlier than expected. We had 4 bridesmaids + 2 moms scheduled for Kadet and Maddie. Many members of my bridal party had never gotten their hair & makeup done before; Kadet and Maddie were very skilled in understanding what each person was looking for and executing quickly. My party shared high praises for both! Since Kelly and I worked the day before, I had an idea on what to expect. We made a few tweaks the day of - the falsies kept bother my eyes and Kelly kept tweaking them until they were perfect and comfortable. I also initially wanted more blush and Kelly was willing to add more, but advised to just sit in the makeup before making any changes. She was right! After sitting with the makeup for a bit, the balance of it all felt perfect. It turned out perfect and what I wanted - fresh and natural and looking like myself. I appreciate Kelly sharing her expertise while still being open to changes. She was a pleasure to work with a calming presence that make the wedding morning flow smoothly. I would recommend Kelly and her team to any brides that are looking for HMUA that is skilled in Asian features. All members of my bridal party were glammed and comfortable. Thank you so much to Kelly, Kadet, and Maddie for helping us look our best!
