I used the app to buy an assortment of cookies from Chip City today. I paid $7 for a few random cookies. With the app, they have a strict policy where you cannot make any alterations or adjustments to the order. You get what you get and you don't get upset. They tasted good. Not as crazy as Crumbl Cookies, the flavors tasted more cozy and kinda like you can recreate them at home. I like that the cookies weren't raw, they were nicely baked. With YooGoodToGo they don't really serve you hot food, so the cookies were room temperature. The employee who handed me my order was so nice. She told me all of the flavors she gave me, and even told me to be cautious when reheating them because of the frosting. The ambiance of Chip City Delray is ADORABLE! The store front is so cute, the location is very central and the decor is a 10/10

There is almost no cinnamon filling. It's like eating nothing but plain cooked dough with a little icing on top. With all the bakeries that are popping up now that we have more choices. My first impression was that the local was a bit disorganized. I think they where in the middle of a repair and the store attendant seemed to be occupied with other duties in the back. As far as the sweets, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have a larger selection of items available. I opted for the banana bread cheesecake it was delicious. The prices are a bit expensive I believe all small cakes are ten dollars. They have outdoor seating available which was nice. Overall it's a cool concept but I wouldn't go out of my way to try it again.

That said, the total came out to about $20 for two single-scoop waffle cones, which is very expensive. At that price point, I expect more than just decent ice cream--I expect a premium customer experience. Unfortunately, the service was underwhelming. The staff didn't really welcome us in, didn't explain anything about the shop or the flavors, barely smiled, and quickly disappeared to the back after serving us and had not returned even by the time we finished our ice creams. It felt like we were bothering them rather than being welcomed as customers. For nearly $10 per cone, the service needs to match the pricing. The atmosphere is nice and the ice cream was enjoyable, but the overall experience did not feel worth the cost.
