In the middle of the floor is bar height tables a chairs, booths along one side of the room. The booths are only on one side because the other side is a beer wall. That's right, I said a beer wall. A wall full of taps. You get a swipe card and it charges your swipe card by the ounce. I don't drink beer but my friend appeared to be really happy with the selection. Because she couldn't pick just one, she made herself a flight. That's right, you can make your own beer flight from the beer wall. So for you beer drinkers I imagine this west side establishment is a hidden gem. I'd definitely come here again, with spouses and adult children in tow. There was fun food, good drinks and some entertainment. And not just karaoke either. We played name that tune. There was a prize at the end but we didn't stay long enough to see the winner. The upstairs seating area is especially lovely and creates a great atmosphere for a relaxed dinner or cocktails with friends. Speaking of cocktails, every one I've tried has been excellent. For appetizers, the Truffle Twists were outstanding. The swirl fries with truffle salt and rosemary crème were absolutely addictive and a must-order. The Holla-Peños were another winner--fresh jalapeños stuffed with creamy brie, goat cheese, and mozzarella, then topped with blueberry compote and a honey-thyme drizzle. It sounds unusual, but the combination really works. The Caesar salad was also very good, with crisp romaine, bacon, housemade croutons, pesto Caesar dressing, parmesan, and shallots. The only dish that missed the mark for me was the Steak & Poblano Peppers. The flavors were fine overall, but the steak had a slightly odd smell that made me hesitate, and it wasn't something I would order again. That one dish aside, I've consistently enjoyed my experiences here. Creative menu items, excellent cocktails, a beautiful upstairs dining space, and several standout dishes keep me coming back. I assumed it was a dessert and not an issue; I didn't even think about it. She packed it up for me and I wouldn't have known anything was amiss had my friends not wanted to see it. I pulled it out and to our astonishment we learned it was frozen solid. I asked our server about it. She said she'd find out how I was supposed to "warm it up." She came back and told me bake it at 350 for 15 min. Hmmm. I bake and this thing looked like it needed to rise, but ok, if that is what I was supposed to.... It was not what needed to be done. Baking created a hard shell around a dough ball with blue goo on top. Nothing red or white about it, btw. Seriously, though - why not just say we don't have any made? It really put a negative spin on the whole evening which, until that point, had been great. Service was wonderful, btw. And the ambience was fantastic. Loved it! Not the goo ball, though. That I'll give a hard pass.

Clyde didnt make a sounds the entire time. Multiple people came up to me saying how good of a boy he was being. He was minding his business. This couple with 2 corgis comes in, same people from buzz bomb, and obviously my dog is interested as is theirs. Their dog barked first*****, so mine barked after, duh. So a bartender came up to us (group of 10-12) and said if my dog barked again, we needed to leave. I asked another bartender why because the other couples dog barked first and his response was "well they come in weekly" ahhhh sooo it's okay since they patron there often and we don't as much. Although, their dog started it everytime?? So I was saying goodbye to my family and ANOTHER bartender came up saying we had to leave and don't come back. TRUST!!! We won't!! AFTER clyde and I left, the bartender told my brother in law that he told us to leave 3x which literally did not happen!! He told me the one time and we left. So please!! Roll the footage on that one I would love to see it. The bartender tried fighting my brother in laws dad after nasty comments were made about my niece.

There was absolutely nothing special about this old fashioned. I think the most disappointing thing about this drink was they muddled the luxardo cherry into the drink. The only place so far that I found that actually had luxardo cherries WHY would you muddle it. Ugh. The inside was cool. It really could have been a place I would frequent because of its proximity to work. But bummed they just don't have my drink. No biggie there are other places
