You can check out their IG for postings of their menu. I got their hot n weird bbq braised pork sandwich and it was to die for. The BBQ sauce had the right amount of tang to it and really emphasized the flavor of the sandwich (and made it super juicy). The pickles added a really nice contrasting flavor to the sandwich. And the bread! So soft and yummy and not overly oily. I am in love. And the sandwich is huge! It took up the whole takeout container. I'm in love and can't wait to visit again.

I bought three pies and six panipopo (a gift for a Samoan friend and his family)...we talked about the panipopo and how it would be served. Franceddie had never met a southern man. My entire purchase was just under $15. Franceddie has a fan. Waipahu...not so much. They are located just past the Bank of Hawaii in a strip mall. The shop is nondescript...it's dank. I am happy to say the food is delicious delicious. I grabbed a mini plate of Lao sausage and blue butterfly rice. The sai oua sausages are made in house and grilled to order. They're filled with fatty pork and some wonderful aromatics - maybe galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, cilantro - and probably garlic, shallots, fish sauce, sticky rice. There may be kaeng khua curry paste too. The rice was a fluffy aromatic version of nasi kerabu, with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and coconut oil. I should have ordered a full plate but the owner generously gave me three sausages anyway. Unfortunately, I couldn't try the LFC or thom khem pork. Mine had a grand total of one thin slice of mushroom and wife's had four. So food is delicious. Family is nice. Don't expect to get food to order. It will come well done. If I wanted it on the side with my ahi, she said it would be another $4, so I asked if I could get a taste of it, and she agreed to give me one shrimp to taste. I can't rate the noodles, but the shrimp itself was fresh and the sauce wasn't your usual butter garlic sauce. It was an Alfredo sauce that was very flavorful and heavy on the cream. If I want to splurge on raising my cholesterol, I'm going to order this next time because the sauce was delicious. In fact, I used what dripping I could savor for my fish and it tasted better with it. Service - 4 stars - The lady was friendly, and she was very accommodating with my request to taste their shrimp and take pictures of their food and stand. I tried to push it and asked if I could also sample their taro mochi balls since I didn't want to buy the whole thing, but all she said "oh my goodness" (I wanted to try it only to rate it, but no luck, so I ended up not buying it at all, so now I can't rate it) because I already asked for a taste of their shrimp scampi for free (what you expect from a pake with a lunch budget of $10?), but overall, she was a nice local woman, and at least she gave me a taste of their shrimp without charging me, which I am glad I tried because it's something I'll consider buying the next time I see them (though $11 is a little steep).
