Commented on another review about noone contacting them, email or text. I emailed twice no answer. I called no answer. Tried Facebook I'm blocked! Quality of work is bad, service requested is not professional craftsmanship. Value was a rip-off. Customer service very poor! read more

Awful company. They are quick when it comes to installing and taking your money, after that they will forget about you. Their 2 year warranty is just for their sales advertisement, when you need it, like you will with few weeks or months, they won't be there for you. I don't know what kind of cheap crap they sell, but mine started going out within weeks. After wasting so much time with trying to get them to come Felix some lights, I ended up doing it myself. If you want a reliable company, find a good local know electrical business that will take care of you. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from your company after my installation. I had lights installed on my home in November 2024, and I began experiencing issues with the upgraded color lights shortly after Christmas 2025. I contacted your team four times regarding three lights that were not working or connecting, yet I was unable to obtain a service manual, reconnection instructions, or any helpful troubleshooting support. I was told that a technician would need to be scheduled and that it might fall under warranty, otherwise there would be a $99 service charge. Since I cannot safely access the pitch of my roof, I agreed to the service visit and asked for clarity on warranty coverage, as well as a one‑hour lead time before the appointment so I could leave work to meet the technician. Despite this, your team made two unsuccessful service attempts without providing the requested one‑hour notice, without a phone call, and without even a standard time‑window (such as 11 a.m.-2 p.m. or 12 p.m.-5 p.m.). I repeatedly asked for weekend scheduling options, warranty details, and a troubleshooting guide, and none of this information was provided. Four days before New Year's, I turned off the color lights and switched back to white lights, only to find that they also no longer work. I am now 3.5 months into unresolved lighting issues, and the system looks terrible when it turns on during the programmed times. At this point, it is clear that service after the sale is not a priority for your company. I would not recommend your services based on the frustration and lack of support I have experienced. If I had the tools or instructions to fix this myself, I would have done so already. I am now actively seeking other lighting companies in the Sugar Land, Sienna, Fresno, and Rosharon areas who are willing to resolve this issue properly on a Saturday when I can be home. The most recent missed appointment was especially aggravating -- I received a text message at 5:40 p.m., and my doorbell camera shows the technician was at my home at 2:30 p.m., with no notice given. I am requesting immediate assistance to resolve this issue once and for all, including: Clear warranty coverage information A proper troubleshooting guide A confirmed service appointment with advance notice Resolution of all lights that are not functioning Thank you. read more

Beware of this company. They only come out for first install. Once they are paid the manager / owner Luis ghosts you! So much for 2 year warranty. I even had an appointment last week for more work. Never showed (this is the second time they didnt show for an appointment), or answered any calls or texts. I have made sure to tell my neighbor that reached out to them to go with another company. I saw their crappy 3 star review on yelp and google after we already had them out. Was going to try to help their review to get better bc their first work was good, but Luis is not an hornorable person to his word. Regretting using them! read more

I have never in my life wrote a bad review for a company so that itself should say a lot. iTek is absolutely great at giving pricing and coming out to install your new equipment in the very beginning but trying to get them to do any warranty work afterwards is a joke. We've had our lights for a little over a year and have had to call them out multiple times to make repairs in which two times they literally never showed up. All appointments they did show up for they were HOURS late for with no notification as well. I would not recommend them to anyone as you can find better service elsewhere. read more

Please be careful with this company, ITEK INSTALLATION CORP. They do not respond to their customers and they do not stand by their workmanship. I had to call from a different number and they still did not answer. So I left a message for requesting new service and that is when they decided to respond...via text messages. This company is completely unprofessional and to be quite frank should not be in business, when they cannot conduct business accordingly and provide good customer service. read more

HEADS UP: TOTAL RIP-OFF! Don't trust these guys! They put in some shoddy recessed and accent lights that don't do what they said (can't control the lights, colors not working ...). And guess what? The lights broke down in just a week. Now, they're ghosting my calls, texts, FB messages, and even blocked me on social media. Seriously, go somewhere else and save your hard earned money . UPDATE- Rephrased in a less formal tone: Funny how I drop a review and now the owner hits up my phone. Just to clear up some stuff after the owner's response: - Yep, you guys did have to come back 'cause those lights went kaput after just a few days. I've got a bunch of messages I sent about it. - Those lights simply fail after the install . Even after y'all "fixed" them, they were still dim (like they're some cheap knockoffs) and then you tell me to buy more? Which I did . Seems shady. - I did call, text , and sent message on FB that were "read" but ignored for weeks. A true definition of a SCAM - And nope, your below statement about me being "blocked" from your FB page for simply leaving a review/comment on your posts (because you have reviews disabled , of-course) is simply not true. You guys have blocked me from your page I will stay vocal to make sure no other victims fall for your shady practices read more

Beware of this company. While they originally did great work on my house, they do not stand behind their warranty and do not like to return your calls when you need warranty work done. Customer service sucks and good luck getting a hold of someone to help you!! read more

RUN FAR FAR AWAY !!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. Long review alert but you will thank me later. This review will be very thorough just in case this "so called company" wants to reply back with LIES!! On July 8, 2022 I had outdoor cameras installed by ITEK Houston. On July 10, 2022 I could not login in on my app on my cell phone to view cameras. I kept receiving an error message of username or password failure when I know I had the correct username and password. I was told by ITEK that it was my internet connection problem. So I rebooted my modem and everything seems fine for only a few days before I received ANOTHER error message. This time the error message was different and stated "Device may not be offline". This message come and goes so the cameras only worked when they wanted to. It was very inconvenient especially if I'm away from home or out of town. I was basically playing Russian Roulette with these cameras that are not cheap. Everyday is a risky gamble game wondering if these cameras are going to work or not. So I called and advise ITEK of the problem. They never picked up the phone only text . So they advise me to resetting the WIFI router , unplugging it for 5 seconds and then plug it back in- nothing work I still ended up with the same result. They was so quick to blame the router when my wifi is fine. All my other devices operate fine on wifi just the cameras did not. Then they had the audacity to say they will charge me $99 if the wifi name is changed. Granted one month later someone came out just to troubleshoot. And guess what? Risky gamble game again. So I have been telling them about the same issues and sending videos for months. They told me that will hard wire the system. Once they came back to hard wire the system. I asked them what I am I to do if this happens again? They ensured me that it will not happen again. Well not even a month later and indeed the cameras are still giving the same result and not operating. Now they are ghosting my calls and ignoring my text messages . I have left voicemails and tried every way possible to get in contact with them. And nothing -no reply or response So do yourself a favor and go it a RING camera system from Sam's or Best Buy. You will be better off as far as product and money. ITEK should be ashamed of themselves . And My cameras are still not working. So here I go having to revise my whole camera system. Below is a photo of the error message I have hundreds and even screenshot and sent to ITEK Houston. I have been having issue with their installation and product since day one. Run FAR AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED COMPANY PLEASE !!! read more

We hired ITek on recommendation for our client in Houston TX. They installed landscaping lights, subsequently security cameras. Flawless installation of both. Very professional, on point, great craftsmanship. Highly recommended read more

Installation was good. Exterior lights attached to house have worked fine, but a couple of the garden lights have been finicky. Takes a while to follow up for troubleshooting with them, but finally got a follow up appointment. read more

We love our spot lights from ITEK. We found ITEK on Facebook and liked their packages offered. We were looking to lighten up our front of the house and we got exactly that. Getting in contact thru Facebook messenger was super easy and the appointment was confirmed within minutes. On the installation day Louis was just fantastic. Arrived on time, explained what he is going to do and went on with his work. A couple hours later he was done. Great workmanship, clean work. Excellent. Our light choice was 5000k (daylight) which can manually turned on or off thru the smart phone app or as we choose a pre-set timing. We love the experience beginning to end and highly recommend ITEK. read more

I hired iTEK to install cameras at my fathers house in Houston to keep an eye on him as I live in Chicago. I was critical in my choice of company's as I install cameras myself "606installs" iTEK had the cameras installed in no time and I was able to keep an eye on my father the same day through the phone app. It's been over a year since the install and I finally made it out to visit my father while I was there I checked the quality of the work and have to say for the price they charged I was really impressed by there work. I would highly recommend iTEK to family and friends in Houston area. Definitely a 5!stars company. read more

Great job on security cameras as well as over the air antenna. I would definitely use them again.

Great, fast, and clean service provided by iTEK. They come at the time they schedule and best of all they take credit card. $99 is an absolute steal and only $10 extra for a mount if you don't have your own. I've paid almost double for the same thing on Amazon home services and they took 3 times as long. I have used them for my house, parents house and for my office. They're the only ones I trust for all my AV needs. read more

they installed my light about a year ago great services ...the technician were knowledgeable and friendly..

If I could, I would like to give more than 5 stars to this company. I had my TV mounted and everything went smoothly. Louise is accommodating and fair when the appointment had to be moved. The price is very competitive and the tech Kelly is awesome who gave suggestions and explanation. Other companies I contacted is double the price adding services that this company includes in their installation such as hiding cables. I definitely recommend iTEK and will be using them again.
