We went to Orcas Island, San Juan/Friday Harbor, and Walla Walla. The B&B at Orcas was exceptional - Otters Pond. The owner, a CIA chef, had the best breakfasts ever and the view from the B&B was spectacular. The B&B at Friday Harbor, Tucker House was perfectly located, and again the breakfast was delivered to our room and delicious. Their COVID protocol was exceptional. Our Walla Walla stay was at The Finch, downtown and walking distancing to all the wine bars and restaurants. Cara set up all the day trips - E Bike, Tesla Wine Taste, and the best one was the Bike and Sunset dinner in San Juan (see photo). We biked to Lime Kiln Point State Park and were served wine and dinner while watching the sun set. It was awesome. Everything was planned in great detail. I loved having the Trip Plans APP set up for everyday activity with locations and phone numbers. Cara was always there, checked up on us a couple of time. WE LOVED IT! My first, but not last time using ABHT. We are looking forward to the next trip .... Gotta come up with one!

We ended up needing to come back a few days early because of the shut downs. The staff called us (after hours their time) and told us not to worry. They told us to get some sleep and they would let us know what our new itinerary was by morning, our time. Sure enough when we woke up, we had new plane tickets and even seat assignments. When we got to the airport, people were crying and freaking out because they could not get ahold of their airlines to change tickets and get back to America. We got to calmly sit and await our flight. We got home safely and easily and with no additional costs. We actually received refunds for days not spent in Europe. Kim and her staff were amazing and had we not had them, we would have been part of the group who were panicking in the airport. I would never use anyone else.

Our contact met us at the airport, showed us how to work the vehicle and we were on our way shortly after. Quick and easy, just the way I like it. They were even available to pick up the van at the airport on July 4th. We did have some issues with the van. The van door wheel popped out of it's track. My sister and I turned into Incredible Hulks and eventually fixed it. We decided not to use that side of the door anymore after that fiasco. When we notified our contact about the door problem, she said it was no big deal and they would make sure to take the van into the shop for repairs. Trust me, a door not closing properly, is definitely a big deal. I recommend this company, with reservations, if you are traveling with a person that has special needs. Make sure to check the van doors and all the electrical functions before driving off.

We had to call the school who contacted the choir director still in Italy to receive this information. Upon leaving a fair review that stated the good things SECHRIST did and this problem, we received a nasty email from Sean that was extremely rude and unprofessional telling us how we should feel about not knowing exactly where in the world our teenager was. One should be careful about working with him if you are not planning to be all sunshine and rainbows for him or if you expect to have accurate information about when your child is arriving home so you can plan to be there to pick them up on time.

Absolutely amazing experience!! The staff were 10/10 every single moment. Full of jokes, positive…read moreenergy and awesome at teaching us about zip lining safely and helping us have a fun time out there. Paddy and Josh were our guides and we loved them. There's a total of 6 zip lines. They start at shorter and easier and increase in difficulty. I wouldn't say it's a very extreme zip line, there were plenty of young children doing it as well. Fun fact: the longest zip line is slightly longer than the Space Needle in length! There were about 8 people on the tour with my husband and I (not including guides). I think the only con is having to wait for everyone at every canopy which is understandable for a safety point of view but can take some time and I'm a bit impatient. But you're quite high up so I took the time to enjoy the views, peace and quiet of being in the forest! Also, a good opportunity to strike up some conversation with everyone else. The staff helped us get into our gear, get in and out of every zip line and gave us a velocity push when we wanted extra speed very kindly. Halfway through the tour, you even get freshly made lavender lemonade which was delicious. I would try to book this in advance if you're trying to go on a weekend. I went on a Friday afternoon and was lucky enough to book same day. All in all, if you're looking for a fun day trip activity nearby Seattle - this was an hour and a half drive and just a lovely day! Only twice in my life have I encountered multiple wild snakes in an approximately 20 minute window…read morewhile hiking. The first time was in Montana while I was conducting geology field work, the snakes that time were rattlesnakes. This time I encountered two garter snakes here at Narbeck Wetland Sanctuary while hiking the Perimeter Trail (South portion of the trail). The first one I heard surprised me because it was right next to the trail. The second one was making noise while traveling through brush on the side of the trail as well. That cutie I managed to get a picture of. The edge of the water in the sanctuary is full of cattails in a number of places. At one woody portion of trail I noticed a gnarly tree by the water and decided to venture closer to check it out. I noticed a Hummingbird high in the tree by some cattails. Just this morning back at the house the hummingbirds were collecting the stuffing from cattails to use for nesting material, fun to encounter another hard working hummingbird the same day in a wetland setting. I made my way closer to the water to get a better look and heard a critter flop into the water, twas a big amphibian I managed to miss with my camera. Song birds sang and water fowl called throughout the duration of my visit here today in the mid-afternoon. A carved wooden sign is located at the driving entrance/exit to the park and is artistically well done, evoking a sense of magic that I have found to accompany wetland and heathland biomes. The parking lot is small to medium in size, but there were a number of open spots so it wasn't a problem on my visit. Next to the parking lot is a restroom building that was closed today, I'm guessing due to COVID-19, a grassy picnic area, a map of the trail system, and some signage with information about the sanctuary. There are two main trails through the sanctuary: the Interpretive Trail which includes interpretive signs, and the Perimeter Trail which goes around the perimeter of the sanctuary. I hiked/walked the southern portion of both of these trails and found them both to be very well maintained. Garbage cans were located along the trail, which was convenient. Elevation gain was not immense, but it was also not completely flat. I encountered a number of soloists and groups out walking/adventuring while I was here this afternoon. By the time I left at about 3 p.m. traffic started picking up. Overall a fun experience and place to explore.

I've been working in Everett for 20ish years and had no idea this place existed. It's not located…read moreanywhere near downtown, but I was very surprised to have never heard of it. A friend recently found it on the all trails app when were seeking out a place for an easyish hike/walk. I was amazed to find this located so close to Boeing, but should probably have realized there is a lot of nature in this area. There is a small parking lot, a big sign marking the entrance and maps/informational plaques to help guide you a long. The inner loop is mostly boardwalk and goes thru a cool rock type structure. Benches were placed intermittently. The outer loop is slightly harder to locate and navigate and does incorporate part of the sidewalk. The combination of both loops is less than 2 miles and takes about 35 minutes. This seems like a great location for a break in nature during your work day. I hope to make it back here again in the future.
