    5 Stars I registered Chinese TV for my parents at italkbb last month. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there are many TV shows, and the content of the shows is smooth and clear. Installation is easy, just link power, HDMI and WiFi. Because of the Covid-19, I am reluctant to let my parents go out. So this TV box is my wise choice. Make my parents' old life happier. If your family also has elderly people, I highly recommend using italkbb.

    I used to be a customer from italkbb, using their phone number for so long. As long as I have been trying to cancel the service from them. They are easy to get in, but so freaking difficult to get out. The linksys box that I used and brought with me in China. They said if I don't ship it back they are going to charge 99$ for it. I told them i will bring the box personally to their office in Vancouver when I go back. They say they can put my account on hold with reduced monthly charges from $11 to $3 and no further action is needed. And after a few monthly, i got a email from saying, if i don't bring the box them now, they are going to charge me 99$. Just so you know i have had this box with them for almost 10 years. And in the end, they still are going to charge me for this box. They will do whatever to keep you in the system and do whatever to make the last squeeze. DONT BE SQUEEZED by this shitty company. italkbb sucks. try italkbee, I am going to start a company as their rival to blow them out of business.

    The installers of this company are very good. Come to my house for service, equipped with masks, gloves and hats, and also equipped with shoe covers. Not only installed the Aijia camera security system for me, but also taught me how to use and debug the product very enthusiastically and patiently. I just want to tell everyone that this is real service. This kind of service will allow us to consume their products contentedly. Let us use their products more assured. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and tell them that such a company is worthy of our long-term cooperation.

    My parents have been using their Chinese TV box for over three years and it works just fine. It saves me a lot compare to others providers. We are grateful that its tv box has no restriction.(Many tv boxes we bought from NY had died after certain period).Staffs are professional, patient and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to use his service again.

    Avoid this company at all cost, they are dishonest about their prices, have tons of hidden fees, charge annual fees whenever they want, and would make it impossible for you to cancel. My mom has been using iTalkBB for 10 years now mainly to watch chinese dramas, we were told that shows would get updated very frequently and all we need to pay is an annual fee and a small monthly fee. But as years go by, the box NEVER updated, we were stuck watching the same things over and over. The only way to update the box is physically replacing it by mailing it back to them with your own money (they also charge you for shipping without telling you). Having been a customer of this company for over 10 years, i've noticed that they charge the annual fee whenever they want, sometimes half and year, sometimes in a few months. And if you call to confront them about any mysterious charges they will argue their way out of it and claim that it's already been a year on their system or that you watched something on cable or even clicked something. We call at least once a year to try and cancel our plan with them but they would always tell us about all the things we'll be charged for if we were to cancel. This company is honestly an absolute nightmare. The agent eventually persuades my mom to upgrade her box instead of canceling since we would be charged over $100 not including shipping fees if we were to cancel. Initially my mom had no intention of wanting to upgrade her box since we were worried about receiving a used box due to the pandemic. The agent reassured us and told us that we will definitely receive a brand new box. But guess what, the only thing new about what we received today was the packaging of the box. The remote had all these white particles on the inside where you put batteries, the spring was extremely rusty on both sides, and the side of the box was bumpy, like it was dropped or smashed into corners multiple times. So of course we contact customer service and we were told that they ran out of new ones a few months ago so they're only mailing out old ones, which is completely different from what we were promised. The agent told us to mail it back to them with our own money and they'll send a CLEANER LOOKING box out and charge us for the shipping... My mom has spoken with the agents in iTalkBB on multiple occasions due to random extra charges and unstable annual fees, and let me tell you, the only time the agents speaks to you in a polite manner is when they call you over and over again early in the morning to upgrade to their new plan.

About a month ago my internet stopped working and stayed that way for a week straight. I called daily and was given the run around that it is a "server issue and will be fixed soon" but they could never tell me exactly when. I eventually talked to a technician who told me Gigstreem is actively trying to lose NetBlazr customers who were grandfathered into a lower price. That and they just don't care enough to pay for technicians to fix issues so anything that goes wrong takes weeks to fix. After a week of back and forth and no internet I cancelled my service and signed up with another company. The outage started at the start of July and I had paid for a full month of internet so I demanded a refund as the internet didn't work at all after I paid. I was told I would receive one but it never came. I called a dozen times over three weeks and was told "the finance team is working on it". Eventually I gave up and had to file a charge back with my credit card company. This internet provider is completely broken and doesn't care about you in any way. I hate to say it but even comcast is better and I really hate them. Stay far far away from this company.

GiGstreem is poser provider of community internet services, that fails to disclose they run on a shared mesh VLAN network that nearly all businesses with a secured VPN will reject for connection to GiGstreem due to inadequate enterprise level connectivity,...and GiGStreem knows this. They have been in business for only several years and they continue to rack up negative reviews. Here on Yelp they have 55 reviews with a 1.7 stars rating. Further, look at BBB listing in the State of New York: https://www.bbb.org/us/ny/new-york/profile/telecommunications/gigstreem-0121-173247/complaints, shows 19 complaints. And the bad reviews and complaints continue. GiGstreem - Convoluted Sign Up The GiGstreem Homepage looks like a basic Shopify template without any appealing creative influence to give the site credibility.  There is no standard  disclosure on residential pricing/button from the menu bar, and no transparency on pricing until after you click through 4-pages, Worse, are the obviously staged testimonial claims about GiGstreen satisfaction: "98% said installation was simple and painless" GiGstreem - Convoluted Sign-in After the convoluted sign-up, you are redirected back to the GiGstreem Homepage, and once again, there is ALSO no sign-in button.  Instead, you have to click the "SIGN UP NOW" button, and then taking you to a GiGstreem account login page.   Just terrible site design that role models the lack of professionalism. GiGstreem - Failed Access Point In my case, I signed up at a California apartment property where GiGstreem advertises as "GiGstream: Internet Simplified". Then I was duped with their offer of first 30-days free--like a trial--only to find that they charge upfront for a second month: bait and switch. Further, the signup was overly complicated to validate the service and the supposed 30-days free billing charge was convoluted and the U.I looked terribly outdated. I then learned, after I "signed-up" for service, that the Ruckus Access Point in my unit was never properly certified for installation-no power (PoE) to the unit and none of the ethernet jacks where GiGstreem purportedly provided hardwire ethernet jacks were connected.  I had to wait days for a technician (from a 3rd-Party) company to provide service and correct the problem. GiGstreem Dashboard - No Control of Devices The GiGstreem-My Wi-Fi Network Dashboard is incapable of providing any type of console control expected/displayed with AT&T and Xfinity.  The GiGstreem Dashboard falsely states you can manage devices, but instead is just a status board of all connected devices, without any option to disconnect any devices leaving you blind to security issues or a secure methodology to deactivate individual device connections, never mind and instant "off" feature for your children, and your supposed private VLAN vulnerable to bad actors. I tolerated GiGstreem's mediocrity for 3-days before I abruptly cancelled what amounted to a bad AirBnB commerical. I'd rather TRUST my customer experience to a provider that has a more qualified solution and customer offering.

Wifi doesn't go as far, wifi 5 speeds(slow), no IPv6, no UPnP, double natting with CGNAT, no inbound connections. This is glorified hotel wifi with all the lockdown and no support. They sell this as a "less expensive, faster, and equally functional" service to Spectrum, and so far I get faster on Spectrum, I don't have these technical issues, and support is far better and is actually US based. While this is a money grab by my apartment, if the service delivered by GiGstreem was what they promised at the property meet and greet, I'd still be unwilling yet wouldn't be complaining.

I hate my current internet and cable company-- Layer3 come to NYC please!! My brother had Layer3 installed one morning while I was visiting. I complained and expected the worst, but it was literally the easiest experience ever. This nice install rep (hi Chris!) came perfectly on time and did the entire setup for us in a few minutes - he was very pleasant and funny. I had no idea what this new cable was, so he spent time explaining and showing us a few pointers to make sure we understood the software. It's like a no contract, no fee, amazing cable company that has even higher quality imaging. Plus virtually unlimited DVR space (Hello binge watching!) Oh and it's less expensive than what I'm paying for UGHHHHH. The Damage: I believe the price is different depending where you are, so worth calling to see. The basic plan channels are excellent! everything for what I was paying extra with Direct TV here is on the basic plan. Absolutely love it!! Customer service is great, polite and knowledgeable. The people that comes to do the installation are very professional as well. I am saving $50 a month with layer 3. Don't hesitate, you can't go wrong with them.
