Parking lot entrance across street from restaurant

Italiano's is a neighborhood Italian-American restaurant that has its own free parking lot directly across the street. I had dinner there last week. My order was for the Penne alla Siciliano for $21. First to arrive was a generous sized bread stick basket, complimentary of course. Then the side salad that came with the meal arrived with quality greens and slices of tomato and cucumber. I asked to try their homemade ranch dressing too. It was a quality first course salad. That dressing stood out to me. Within 15 later the entree arrived. It had shrimp, scallops and crab meat in their "aurora" sauce over penne. This dish had a lot of the aforementioned seafood in it bathed in a delicious sauce. This dish not only tasted very good but was filling. I was pleased with the amount of seafood included and for $21 the entire meal represented value. The table service was friendly too. Italiano's probably caters more to its neighborhood than to tourists like me. It's very casual inside and has one medium size dining room. Nothing fancy here for sure. But, if you are looking for a very good meal at reasonable prices come here. I think you will enjoy it!

I've been wanting to try Italiano's for years and finally made it there last week with my daughter and three grandsons. We went for an early dinner and were the only people in the dining area but a big group came in right before we headed out. Overall, the food was great - fresh cold salads, warm garlicky breadsticks, perfectly cooked pastas, and delicious Chicken Franchaise. As others have said, the place is small and could use a little updating but it was comfortable enough for us. I'm not really into fancy all that much anyway so it was just fine for me. Can't wait to go back and bring my husband!

Outstanding! Friendly staff, excellent food and clean restaurant. I had the spaghetti and it was one of the best plates I've ever had.

This pie has good crust, great sauce and really good toppings all around. I have already gone out of my way a few times when I was remotely close to driving near Aston five points intersection. That is how huge of a find this restaurant is. The 1st time in, after reading a few Yelp reviews- and while on a random drive through Aston, I decided to try their pizza and garlic knots. I was absolutely blown away. This is a nice, family run shop and I highly recommend it as a pizza and appetizer connoisseur. If I lived closer, it would be my weekly spot or any time ordering pizza. Bravo, Amores Kitchen family!

I seldomly give 5 stars and this family owned takeout has earned it!!!…read more Being in Philly for a day I really wanted a Philly cheesesteak. I love supporting local mom and pop shops and I'm so happy I found Amores Kitchen. We met Candi (owner), her son Raymond James and her mother. Everyone that works there is family or like family; only those she trusts to serve top quality food that she would. The Philly cheesesteak was amazing!!! I didn't have to go to downtown while the Eagles played and sit in traffic because Amores Kitchen was soooooo good. Candi asked if I wanted my bread toasted or if I liked soft squishy bread. My personal preference for all sandwiches is soft. I got the works and I devoured it! My husband got the chicken parm sandwich and he loved it. Perfectly cooked chicken, melted cheese and perfect amount of sauce on a toasted hoagie roll. My son got wings and they were delicious. We got it with sauce on the side so it isn't a mess to eat. Crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The French fries, extra crispy with salt and pepper were by far the best fries we've ever had! Only regret is we didn't get more or stop in to get more due to our long drive. The garlic bread is more like garlic strips. Great garlic flavor with butter and herbs, served with a side of their marinara. Their sauce is on the sweeter side which we love. When we make sauce from scratch, we definitely add sugar to balance the acidity so it right up our alley. Candi is the baker there and she makes everything from scratch. They only had chocolate chip cookies available that afternoon. You can taste the homemade love Candi put into it. There's no sit down area. It's a takeout place but there seemed to be many regulars picking up and Candi knew their names. I witnessed it while waiting for our order. It truly is a mom and pop shop and a hidden gem to out of towners looking for places to eat. When I return to the area, this will be my go-to. I've already sent friends over. Candi, I hope to see you again!
