Our favorite Italian spot! A hidden gem. Soooo many good things here that we love. eggplant involtini Meatball parm Fried raviolis (the BEST) Mozzarella sticks Penne alla siciliano Everything we've tried is amazing here we have 0 complaints. They are always so nice over the phone too when we call & when we pick up!

I've been wanting to try Italiano's for years and finally made it there last week with my daughter and three grandsons. We went for an early dinner and were the only people in the dining area but a big group came in right before we headed out. Overall, the food was great - fresh cold salads, warm garlicky breadsticks, perfectly cooked pastas, and delicious Chicken Franchaise. As others have said, the place is small and could use a little updating but it was comfortable enough for us. I'm not really into fancy all that much anyway so it was just fine for me. Can't wait to go back and bring my husband!

Thursday was seafood night! Went to celebrate my moms bday with her. I had the garlic crab lump spaghetti and it was great. She had the crab cake and was not disappointed with it at all and she can be picky. Thanks!!

This was a big boy cheesesteak. I got the works Paris. When Italiano's says the works, they mean the works. I think everything that was not nailed down in the restaurant was in this cheesesteak. The beautiful part is it all worked together. Nothing tried to steal the show. Big soft bun. This might be the answer to a lot of sauce. $10, felt a touch high. Very nice people working through quarantine. Very good overall experience.

Food is great, staff is good but it is small and gets loud. Not the place for a romantic dinner but otherwise a great place for great food!

The restaurant has a charming and casual vibe. Both gentlemen tending the floor are from Italy, adding an air of authenticity. You can choose to sit outdoors -- I really like the way the patio is arranged --or in the cozy dining room. Once seated, you're brought a plate of roasted peppers and a basket of hard rolls. I sprinkled olive oil and grated salt on the plate, which proved a good idea with the peppers and rolls. There were a number of appetizer specials, but we went with a basic Caesar salad. One order, pre-apportioned in the kitchen, was perfect for the two of us. I ordered branzino as an entree T, linguini Pescatore. The whole fish is brought out and fileted tableside. While I took a photo, it was just one unflattering shot of the head (which I'm not posting.) The branzino was mild and flakey, good, though the seasoning didn't break through the skin rendering it a little bland. Excellent grilled potatoes and vegetables completed my dinner. My husband's linguini was delish; while the pasta isn't made in house, it tasted like it could be, served al dente, of course. The tomato sauce was spicy enough to bring the dish over the top. Portobello is byob. (Another Yelper mentioned an $8 corkage fee, but unless they forgot to charge us, they disbanded the policy.) After our meal, with takeout box packed -- there was a lot of fish -- we were offered amaretto as a digestif. A nice touch! The restaurant isn't all that convenient to where we live but we enjoyed dinner enough to warrant a repeat visit. Next time I'll try something Italian. Or maybe salmon, which looked pretty good. Reservations suggested, particularly on weekends.

We didn't have reservations but were still able to sit outside on their enclosed patio with a tinkling fountain. We were delighted to find on a Wednesday that they were still having happy hour specials all day and even had a 3-course price fixed. My daughter and I loved the Gondola Ride with citrus vodka and limoncello. It was a refreshing, summertime drink. For the 3-course price fixed, we tried the lasagna noodle soup which was unique and delicious. My corn cappellacci (not on the price-fixed menu) was a new entree. The pasta was light and airy, and the corn and shrimp made it a tasty dish perfect for a summer night. For dessert, the gelato twist with banana was heavenly. Our lovely server even made sure to put a birthday candle in our daughter's dessert as it was her birthday. We'll be back!
